Does that mean that my shipment with 1 ego and all other stuff being atomizers with no juice at all is being returned or is it accepted? Both parts are the same time. Just wondering if anyone had it say this and still received it

Mine is showing the same thing but give it a few days. The last time mine did this it was delayed to be inspected by customs and then continued on it's way to me. This time I have a couple ego batteries and some liquid so will wait and see.

after seeing a video that showed how to set up an oddy I am now interested in them.

Couple of questions for you guys.

Which Oddy clone on fasttech is the best and what kind of wire do I need for the NR legs
just order some of the ready wires from FT along with your Oddy.

I already rebuild other things. I want to learn to do the NR-R-NR myself which is why I asked. :)

I know the Oddy is 1/2 the price, but trust me, Buy the Logo'd Ithaka instead and order the 2.2 or 2.5ohm N-R-N wires.

Oddy= nice, but I Ithaka= OMG SWEET!! It is and was intended as the next generation making Oddy obsolete.

ETA - ALL my packages have now cleared SF - HOME FREE!!!!!:D:toast::banana::thumbs:

Apologies to all still waiting. I'm just glad it's over. Had a lot of cash tied up with not much to show for it.

LOL.......ready wires do not prevent the need to rebuild. They simply keep you from having to join the NR-R-NR yourself, which is a total headache. Nickel is the kind of NR wire most use, which I have 100ft of just setting here because I use the pre-joined wires.....

ty I will pick some nickel wire up. It is more a case of I want to know HOW to do it than a matter of ease of use. ;)

I get more piece of mind knowing I can do it myself should vapocalypse come.

I have been using the ReadyWires -N-R-N in my Ithaka builds. Makes the build simple and with dual coils getting 2 close measurements is easy. Whey are welded so make for a cleaner install than twisting wires together.

There are also alternatives. several plans for building mini-wire welders online.

I don't blame you at all........after all, I had to give it a shot. But for the $3 and change, I would suggest picking up some ready wires just for backup. When connecting NR-R-NR wires it can be kind of tricky to get each the same resistance (assuming that you don't want to spend $75-$100 on a wire welder), which presents a problem when you are making them for the Ithaka like I was. You need both to be as close to the exact same as possible.

Also, for me, trying to twist the wires together created a big lump that got in the way. This is the cleanest/neatest method I have ran across for joining by hand.........How to: Diver set-up coils - YouTube

Me too. Although things aren't going too bad so far, there are those that are ignorant enough and/or fanatical enough that the danger is definitely there. Better safe than sorry.

I remember reading some time back about using silver NR wire. So, is nickel ok too then? Or, is one better than the other?

Great video. Left me wondering why I hadn't thought of it. Once you see it, it's obvious.

ty that video helps :)

I was kinda wondering why it couldn't be done that way instead of all the twisting.
I guess, like me, people make things more complicated than they need to be.

Thanks for the reminder about the coils having to be the same. Sounds like a good excuse for me to be lazy and just buy pre-made. As long as I, at least, know how to do it myself for future reference.

We all had moved on. It is your inability to move on that has brought up a post from over 200 posts ago because you want to have the last word. When you bandy phrases like "grow up" and "get a life" you need to reflect about them first.

Ok, roll call time. What does is everyone currently waiting on?

Mine:
Full Caravela kit
SS Nimbus
Gold plated Nimbus
Long SS curved drip tip
KSD
Purple eVod Twist 450mAh
Purple K6 dripper
Purple eGo lanyard
Large black eGo case
Spare allen keys

And I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a SS Chi-You and a couple of matching drip tips...

Nothing atm but I am seriously thinking about one of the oddy style clones though no one has chimed in with a good one. The Ithaka is a dual coil which I am not interested in. The single coil of the Oddy is more my style.

Suggestions?

I'm pretty sure the Ithaka is designed to be single coil, but people have crammed dual coil into it.
