Hickory? That's out west isn't it? Think I've been through there before.

Left a lot of brain cells at a place called the Be Here Now in Ashville which I think is near by. Wonder if it's still there?
Wow Capt! Somebody else actually knows where this is lol. Yes, Hickory is between Asheville, and Charlotte NC. :). I live aprox. 40 miles east of Asheville, and I have been to 'be here now' (careful, we'll be telling our age :)). I left more than a 'few' brain cells lol. I'm pretty sure it closed some years ago, and another name took over for a while. Not sure whats in that building right now.

Man, those were the days though. We play music Asheville still, but seems like the night life thing struggles there from what it used to be. Still, Asheville is a unique, and cool little city. We visit there often

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but i ordered an oddy clone from FT and the build seems to be different than what im seeing online for the original Odysseus? there is only one kind of wire... mine also tasted like oil or something horrible like that haha. i thought it might be the wick so i tried to rebuild it using 28g kanthal and that didnt work... my zmax read it as 0.0ohms and it would not fire on my mechanical. in fact i think i got shocked haha. im not sure where/how to use no-resistance wire.

any else get one from here? i also couldnt find any videos on rebuilding an oddy clone, thus this post :)

thanks!

Try this video it may help :)

Maggie, Have you used the Panny NCR18650PD in a VTR?

Ref, I only have the Panny NCR18650B, so that's what I'm using. Very good battery life so far with it. The VTR is definitely addictive!

Can I also recommend the UCan? I know, know, know the soft plastic needle-tip bottles do the same thing, but the UCan is really sturdy and, uh, cool...works a treat.

recently I received a refund from fastech of https://www.fasttech.com/products/1430100 (2 batteries) that were sitting for 1 month at HongKong Post ..... is good idea to make the order again by another postal service?

if you dont mind the waiting then go for it and select the singapore post as they say built in batteries- officially OK

if you are looking for VV ego go for this one instead of it.
its battery capacity is 200 mah less but also 30mm shorter.i think its better option as 2hrs of extra vape time is not at all worth the extra 30mm length.

I ordered last night from VB. It was 22.5 + 5.81 to ship it. My first time with them. I don't know what to expect really, but I just couldn't help myself :). Some here have/are having shipping issues with that company too, but I rolled the dice and said "the baby needs shoes" LOL. Maybe I'll have good luck with this

The kit is suppose to come with both 'windows' (stainless, clear) as well as extra bits (o rings, wick, etc.). They have the polished version too

edit: Oh yeah, its a clone of the kayfun 'lite'

My last order from VB took about 16 days to arrive, so not bad.

Ordered the frosted version too, looks like they're going pretty quick, down to ~10 left now.

Thanks for the heads up!:vapor:

suhweeeeeeeeeeeet,,,,,,,,,,,,my orders I placed the other day just shipped,,,,,,

now if they get here within the month, I shall be a happy camper,,,,,,

Same here! received one to day, one has passed through SF and the last 2 have left HK.

Fingers crossed they all arrive safely.

Yeah, got the Kraken already. I want to see an upgraded version of the FT Caravela with brass top, better contacts, and battery insulator. The other clones have all of that, but cost $50-60. Hopefully those one's go down in price :)

Still a heck of a price though.

Just had a couple of orders refunded from FT. One contained batteries, one liquid, and both had been returned from HK post. This is good - at least I know where I stand with those.:) I'll order batteries from the UK in future and will find a different shipping option for liquid. Does anyone know what the best shipping option for liquid is when the destination is the UK?

For liquids, try SGP. I've always had successful arrivals with them.

I would not encourage anyone to shop at fasttech anymore they have hit the crapper.

led displays, one 510 adapter, an igow, are lost in space, no tracking, no replies, another gift certificate incident the gift certificate is 0.00 and it should have cash on it. No replies, none, so I would tell someone no do not buy there anymore. Thought I would be ok since no batteries or anything that looks like a battery but no I was not special and orders will not get through it seems. 2 weeks have passed and no tracking no replys. They had no problem taking my cash up front knowing they have issues so paypal will get a dispute thingy if no reply in a few days or so..

I'm pretty sure this is not vv, the different color light just indicates how many volts it's putting out (i.e. how much power is remaining in the battery).

did you check the gift certificate itself, or is that 0.00 where your order amount used to be??

Put your cursor on your name (where it says HELLO TOMDICKANDHARRY) and a drop down menu appears,,,,,,,click gift certificates. That should show you the actual amount,,,,,,,,

I know, I had issues with this very same thing,,,,,,,,,the gc really did have $$ on it.
