I too like the 18650 CREE flashlights, on my property I need all the light they can put out. There are a couple of downsides though, at least with mine https://www.fasttech.com/p/1195019:

You can't just hand one to somebody that has never used one without explaining the different modes.
I don't know if the strobe effect is enough to cause a seizure, but I'm not letting any kids use it anyways.
When it finally starts blinking to indicate the battery needs charging, it can be well under 3 volts. For some batteries, that's not good.
I'm not putting it in my mouth no matter the emergency, that was a bad habit anyways.

Speaking of which, has anyone bought a headlamp from fasttech? If so, any suggestions?
I've got some work to do under the house in a few months, a headlamp would be very helpful.

Edit/addendum: the only order I have left waiting to be shipped has been in "Packaging" for 2 days, what's up with that?

I bought this one ages ago,

$27.50 UltraFire UF-H2B Cree XR-E Q5 120-Lumen Adjustable Brightness LED Flashlight w/ Clip - 1* AA / 1* 14500 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Has no built in voltage cut off so I use protected batts, really bright but heats up quite a bit, great for a few minutes work but not for long periods.

Has a really good magnet on the bottom and the fact you can remove it from the headband makes it pretty versatile.

Got my RG200 Bottom Coil Clearomizer a few days ago and I am loving it. A little tighter draw than a protank, which is to my liking. The size to capacity ratio is outstanding and its my new out and about tank! Also looks great on a SD keyring!

Does any one have experience with orders that are restocking? Does that mean a long wait or simply a little longer. I've got a huge order waiting on some nemesis batteries. a kraken clone and an nimbus. Should I cancel those three items and order later or just wait for the restocking. There's two Nemis and a vamo in there so I'm anxious to get them.
Longer wait...they can't ship to the international shipping blackhole till they get it in stock...once they get it and ship it...THEN the long wait begins :(

ugh... how long does it take SP to update their info. FT sent my order out on 12-28 and SP still says Information Received (This is not an acknowledgment of the physical receipt of the stated Registered Article)
what gives 12 days and they still don't have it:evil:

That is the only message you will get until it says Arrived in ship to country.
Try this search instead:

Someone was saying that this can run on an eneloop NiMH battery as well (similar to the Sipik SK-68 where dual voltages can be used 1.5/4.2 (AA or 14500) I know on my SK-68 the light is a little less yet still quite bright but end up running longer and cooler because in 1.5vdc mode the driver is a boost mode at 500ma, in 14500 it is a direct drive regulator at 800ma)
Just a thought

Per the specs on the page Battery Form Factor AA / 14500

Wow..that thing is sweet! Like a nano mechanical (even though it's an automatic)...all shiny but teeny weeny :D

That tank almost matches that rig perfectly!

Makes me wish I had gotten the 510 version of the SD keyring instead of the 808 version. But, for only $10, I may just have to get me one of those too!
