I've got years of modding experience on phones and other mobile devices. Software and hardware. I have a hard time trusting Chinese batteries. Either don't have protection, bad cells, or not the advertised mAh. And you get different batteries with the same bunch. I trust my local B&M for some EFEST IMRs. Cheap and I know they are real. But hella thanks for the link. I think I will be ordering that Kick or 2. Badass, thanks man.

what you are saying is absolute right but EFEST is also made in china! it all hit and miss.
there is a 18500 IMR version in the reviews they say it performs as good as a efest.
edit:regarding the advertised mAh,FT also mention the actual mah after testing for some battries.

After my waiting for my late non-shipped order and contacting FT I was told that one of the items didn't meat their standards(LOL) or was out of stock. They said that they were expecting them in in 5 days and would I wait. Ok, I figured wait..then 3 days goes by and I get a shipping notice and it says order will be split and the tank will be shipped in 5 days that a new shipment would be coming in..so now that makes 8 days...I will not hold my breath and may look elsewhere as it was only a couple bucks cheaper than here in the US.

A note about machine oil, some of my rda's definately had it. I not only tadted it but smelled it as well i just used dawn dish soap and hot sink water, takes care of it for me.

Huh. Well maybe I'll test em out. Thing is, I've seen a lot bad batteries. I see FT as a place to buy knockoffs, fakes, and relabeled goods. And my experience with places like that with batteries aren't very good at all.

I've seen lots these type of batteries where they are not at all what they say are. Only thing is, FT doesn't say OEM replacement like most knockoff vendors do.

The battery says Samsung, but I can guarantee that it isn't. That's what makes me apprehensive about buying ecig batteries.

Just a general sort of announcement for anyone who does not already know, all AW batteries are being marked with a holographic sticker if they are manufactured after 01/14. I doubt that will prevent counterfeits, but should make them easier to identify.

thank you all for the replies. yes i tried pretty much everything that everyone suggested in 1 week or so of struggling to clean my kayfun. didn't try acetone or other strong chemical components but ofc i tried all household soaps or cleaning liquids. i work in dental prosthetic making and we use electrolysis to properly clean metal parts. i might try to do that but the metal we use is a very durable high expensive and quality alloy. so i'm afraid i might damage the kayfun threading by cleaning it with electrolysis.

the taste or smell has nothing to do with the coil or e-liquid because i can sense it by simply smelling individual parts. its a very distinctive smell which none of my china clones have.

It says Malaysia when I look it up. But I heard they had been wrapping them to get them thru customs. But not sure about it. I just wish they would hurry up. But can't complain about 20 bucks to get started with a mech.

With the last two epackets I have received from China, the status "processed through sort facility Shenzhen EMS" is the last one you will get until your package lands in the US. On both of mine, there were 10 and 12 days in between that status, and when the package hit the States, so don't worry. I just received an epacket yesterday after having no status since Jan 4th.

I would not even use an authentic Efest 18500, its one of their worst in terms of performance , based on test results, and that includes V1, V2, and the newest 2014 version. Their 18490 is the one you should get if you are going to buy Efest. I also would not use their 18350's, which have also tested low in performance, compared to other brands.

The 18490 is their best, and their 18650 2000mah is acceptable also ... Their new 30A is actually a rebranded Sony, so you would be fine their as well.
