I understood where you were coming from. Compared to smoking there is no excuse for anyone who is on ECF to not be able to afford anything, very little excuse for anyone not on ECF.

Although I don't agree so much about spending so much on clones. Go ahead and get a ton of cheap backups. Save everything including the ones you don't like so much. Then if you want a $200 something or other go without buying anything for a month or two and there's your $200 thing-a-ma-jig.

Short of an EMP it would be impossible for me to end up with nothing to vape (I may even be able to go 5 years without buying anything). I was paid off with backups by 6 months. I've been ahead ever since and that's even with recently going to big mods, clearos and then RDA/RBA's. I'm not fully to the RBA's because I want to be closer to $1000 ahead before I do that. Once I'm there I won't need another purchase for a long time.
Maybe for my 2 year anniversary I'll be getting a Provari (or maybe not because I don't see the value).

I dont disagree with this at all. I myself have well over 20 mods and over 30 atty's that are rebuildable and while i dislike most of them over the few that stay in constant rotation, i dont discard them because they arent my favorite. I have however pared down the collection for some of the pricier items i wanted. Thats just my point. I could afford to smoke 2 packs a day for 10 years... why the hell cant i afford to buy whatever mod i deem necessary for myself? because im on a budget? then budget it better is what i say.

14 days after showing "Acceptance" my package of 3 juices is now showing "Process through sort facility" Does that mean it made it past the X-Ray machine?

mine was at HK sort for 10 days, then it said processed, then a day or 2 later was in SF.

Personally I am looking forward to the Plovali clone being available for less than $20 from FT with its sturdy tube made from top kitchen grade aluminium foil and voltage variable simply by how fast you crank the handle, those of you who blew $200 on a single mod will be feeling pretty silly then.

If FastTech starts selling a Provari clone, ECF is going to go...

Most Postal Regulations won't accept any querys before 30 days.
Pay Pal has a 45 day limit on filing problems.

So, somewhere between 30 - 45 days.

FT has a great reputation for customer service, if you have patience ... whiners and I want it yesterdays not included.
So, welcome to the huge FT waiting room ... what do you think of the decor ... lots of time to fix it up if you'd like !!!

My Bad. I ordered a ProTank Mini 2 from of all places a US dealer on Saturday the 14th. It arrived in my mail box on Monday the 16th. Was shipped from California and I live in South Carolina. Yes, I paid more, but I'm vaping with my new Mini ProTank 2. Sun Vapers in case anyone is interested.

This!!!' This is what I'm talking about!!!! Thank you myk!!!! I'm not statin that clones are bad and you should buy the real thing, but if you want the real thing then stop spending so much damn money on knockoffs to save the extra $10 a week and use the cash to buy a real one instead of looking for a freaking hand out. That's all. And btw my nemesis clones have not moved past preparing to ship... So I think china forgot to update them.

I'm not trying to be a wiseass, but I don't remember seeing anyone asking for a handout. I recall seeing someone vent about how long it was taking to get goods delivered from FT and how analogs were cheaper than the disposable Blu. Then someone offered to PIF by sending the guy a stand-in.

I actually agree with you. If you want the good stuff, save up. If you get cheap stuff and complain about the quality, then my response is that it's your own damned fault.

I order stuff from FT all the time. I'm just glad my Vamo V3 snuck under the door before Hong Kong Post decided to get .... about shipping stand alone battery cells.

yep,,,,,and it's most likely my fault,,,,,,,,,things like this just HAPPEN to me,,,,,,,,if your package was anywhere near mine, it got sucked into the bad luck void.

All I've got in there now is a pack of clearos and some coils for them. They could open those and pass them out as party favors at the upcoming fall festival for all I care.

Whats bothering me is that I was ready to pull the trigger on an MVP2 but I cannot bring myself to add to the pile of crud that I know they haven't processed. Just my luck to go ahead and order that just about the time they discover the dozen bins or so they've been overlooking and put everything else to the back and create yet another bottle neck.

I didn't see anyone ASK for anything either,,,,,,

vapers are some of the most generous people around,,,,,,,I've had people offer things when I first got started, and I've PIFd my older stuff as well,,,,,,,

if someone wants to help, I don't see what the big hairy deal is.

...It's Alive...

Just wanted to give a shout out that stuff that has been stashed in HK Post on September 4th is now moving out.
Just got the notice that it processed through the sort facility.

I still have a long wait ahead ... but proof that it's still alive is so sweet.
Party time

Awesome news. I'm a couple of days behind you.

"I'd love to help, but I'm in the same situation. After a very bad streak the only thing that works is my eVic. My 100 dollar budget has shrunk to 77 thanks to inflation and the rising dollar. And all I get is "get a Provari" and people that OFFER one for free but when PMed want to sell it... Guys, not everyone can keep up"

this is what started the conversation. While not asking for everything they are complaing about not being able to keep up. And i have yet to locate it but i was in a thread just before this one and someone was asking if anyone had any nice mechanical mods that werent clones that they would be willing to let go of so that they(someone who couldnt "afford it") could get into mechanicals. That is asking for a hand out and while im more then willing to help someone in need and there is no reason not to help when you can, simply asking for a mechanical that is nice and not a clone.... that just burns my .... How can anyone ask for something for free because they cant afford it and make requirements? If you want to hand off your poldiac or your nemesis because you have 3 then by all means do so. I will tell you though, no matter the story... its YOUR hard earned money YOUR sending someone because they cant budget themselves to buy one, especially when im sure they spent more then $100 a month in cigarettes. Either way I have gotten tired and callous from seeing so many of these types of posts, not all on here either. NO ONE is forcing you to buy a Provari or a Poldiac or a Nemesis. So again... why do people who can't/won't budget themselves or just plain dont have the money to buy a "nice" mod feel the need to "keep up"? It's a choice not mandatory.

So my understanding is juice orders run a 50/50 shot of being held up, lithium batteries are more likely to get the ban hammer so to speak, and pretty much everything else is delayed while waiting for the hk postal service to scan all the other crap backlogged... So if going forward I order a say kts, and a charger on one order, and on a separate order, the chances are if the lithium a do miraculously make it through, or not I may still be waiting for my mod and charger the same amount of time... Well hmmm

And as for the provari/nemesis/blah blah super mod discussion, I believe yes it is a bit unsettling begging for a whatever it is (be it clone or genuine). I would like to get into mechanicals as well, but my sole opinion on it is, someone is only going to pay what they think I fair. I want to get into mechs as well, so what do I do? I research my .... off, see what is top of the line, look for schematics/drawings/internal pictures. Take that knowledge and apply it to what I can #1 afford and #2 possibly do myself.

I luckily have a nice blend of redneck and nerd. I am halfway decent working with my hands and my brain. I have decided I would rather buy a clone and then try my hand at making a mech as well. I enjoy it, vamping for me has become a hobby. When 1 cigalike battery dies I think what parts can I use to make something else. Only handout required may be some wisdom from someone else's experience. Or offering to trade my ever cool mod for something in the classifieds. But never hurts o ask, it the begging that bugs me.

well, I agree with you there,,,,,,,

I know that sometimes it's hard (if you're on a budget) to start out,,,,,,,I know I've given friends ego batts or free juice so they could have something to start with and save the money they'd spend on cigs for a couple weeks to get something decent.

but that IS a bit ridiculous.

I hope that's what it means. My order of 4 Samsung batteries was shipped on the 10th, and yesterday tracking showed processed through sort facility at Hong Kong air mail centre. I'm not in a hurry, just wanna see them able to be shipped. The batteries are the only thing in that order.

Like i said... im not above giving when its needed. I have given away more eGo batteries and kanger t2's then i care to count. I did it because they wanted to start and didnt have the cash, but i had the batteries and didnt need them anymore. however... asking for a handout(mind you thats different then a "leg up") is ridiculous. I hate seeing it and I cant stand seeing my hard earned money going towards something like that. plain and simple.

I'm going to pop my head in here about PIFing... I have given quite a bit of gear and juice and after I ship out vape gear I read a bit more and end up getting disgusted. I've seen someone say they want this or that and can't afford it, so many reasons why they can't buy vape supplies that I can't count. Regardless, after I have PIFd I see the same people rolling off lists of what they have, what they have coming in, or they have flat out put my stuff up for sale or joined PIF lists to give my gear away. I am done with it... From now on I'll be doing equal trades or posting stuff in the classies UNLESS I've known you for awhile.

There are so many people on ECF that we forget that there are quite a few scam artists in our midst as well...
