That is the point, as I read it.

I'm not sure, might end up going back to dual using out of frustration. Since flavors will always be available it's not a topic I dwell on.

Are the one shot concentrates mentioned marketing for vaping? Or are the food concentrates?

The "One Stop Flavors" and "One Stop Blends" developed and sold by One Stop DIY shop (OSDIY for short) are used by their customers for many things, including DIY eliquid. They cater to candy makers, bakers, etc. too.

I personally use several of them to make the simple syrup flavorings for shaved ice (ie. their Margarita, Old Tyme Root Beer, Blue Raspberry Slush, and others). I know several others who use them by the drops to flavor their bottled water, too. My sister in law uses some in candy she makes.

Many people say they like lightly flavored juice. I can see that. My ADV vendor juice I use is one of the lighter ones...nothing sharp about it. I can definitely see how heavy flavored liquid would stress out the ole taster and accelerate the boredom threshold.

Maybe for most but has never happened to me. I still like high percentages of flavor.

I can remember mixing sessions with a row of bottles ready and labelled, and 30 bottles of flavoring, each with its own 1ml syringe beside it. Recipes printed out. It took an hour just to lay everything out and an hour to clean and dry the syringes.

You can make one-shots yourself to reduce how often you have to mix complicated recipes.

My wake-up vape is a concoction I call Apple Pie. It consists of six different flavoring ingredients. Instead of getting out all six of these flavors every time I need to make some of this, I've made up some with 5 times the amount of flavoring I really want in it. So when I need some more Apple Pie, I mix it one part of the "one shot" with four parts of my regular unflavored and I'm good to go.

I am a simple mixer. Rarely use over 4 or 5 flavors in a mix but yes, I have a lot of different flavors. I have to try a lot of different recipes to find something I like. I have about 5 I can use daily and about 15 other mixes that are 'ok'.

YEP - I AM A "SENIOR" . . . Especially according to AARP, I became one at 50 and that was quite a few years ago . . . 15 to be exact - bearly "living" my 66th year now . . . AND - Being the "Curmudgeon" that I AM - "My" Body, Mentality, and Physical Abilities can prove it too . . .

As for how much and for how many years - to be honest, with being Diabetic (25 Years), having COPD (??? Years), and after having a Quintuple Bypass 3 years ago - they said I might have a good ten years left - So that means I might make it another 7 years give or take (Hey they're only Dr. what do they know

What do "You" mean "Close" . . . Hasn't AARP contacted Ya' yet . . .

and I had limited space, I would much rather figure out how to camouflage 4 liters of nic than have to camouflage 18 liters of nic. As for storage, you dont have many options so the best you can do is keep those bottles somewhere as dark and cool as possible. I am sure you can find room in the frig for at least one liter, let that be your long term storage. Consume the bottle stored in the warmest location first.

No NEED to camouflage - nor is it about storage space . . . It was not being able to freeze a large amount/bottle and for how long can I store one out of the freezer . . .

Beyond that, do you have any friends or relatives that can hold a gallon for you?

NOPE - Neither . . . Not here at least, most of "My" Friends that are still alive live further up North (NYC, PA, NJ) . . . AND - As for Relatives, not many of them are alive (only 3 out of 6 siblings left) and those that are (including all the nieces/nephews - 33 total) we don't really talk or see each other either . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I think one shots are a great intro to new mixers for early success.

I have a fair number of one shots I like and I also will modify them. Starting with single flavors is useful.

I'd combine them in my tank to see what went with what. It isn't the same as steeping together but it gives you a sense. Etc.

OK, I’m closing in on how to store nic and where to source it. Next up will be the remaining ingredients. PG, VG, flavorings. Rather than piling on all at once, let’s stick with PG n VG. Good sources? Proper storage methods? Anyone delve into this or is it a simple thing?

Okay - I'm Back . . .

Get your premix in 100 mg. Lay in some VG and PG - can be stored anywhere coolish and darkish. Cut your 100 with equal parts of the PG and VG - e.g 50 mls base, 75 mls each of PG and VG, getting you 250 mls at 25 mg/ml. So only one bottle in the fridge/freezer.

AH - Although storing it in the freezer is out of the question and as I mentioned before - I am more then a little hesitant using 100 mg of Nicotine - that just might be a possibility . . . As you know I live in Florida and the temperature of closets do fluctuate a lot, however I did store flavored e-liquid (10/30/60 ml bottles), that I got back in 2012, in a bin in the closet for sometime (had to throw out a few bottles of course - lost potency/taste & got too dark) . . . So - I will think about that one . . .

I bought my PG/VG from Bulk Apothecary. Should be here Monday. Haven't ordered nic or flavors yet but I'm probably going to get the 125 ml sample nic from Carolina Xtracts and I have a list of 11 flavors from Bull City so far. Both are local businesses so I should probably support them.

I probably should start focusing on replacement parts, but mod repair is not in my skill set. I’m just going with having a bunch of mods and hoping they hold up. Maybe getting chummy with people who can fix stuff, lol.

Huge ditto! Squonk pins are not exactly easy to find or make,, I seriously bought all I could find on FT minus 2 that I don't think will work with any squonk atty or atty I may want to convert in the future. FT has a habit of discontinuing parts,,, so NOW is the time for squonkers to build the pin stash up imho.

If you know when the maintenance inspection is coming I guess you could keep stuff in the fridge and move it when they were due to arrive. A few days out wouldn't do much harm. Or get to know the maintenance guys and make an arrangement. I was a maintenance guy for 10 years, most of us would be happy to look the other way if you were friendly.

Maybe get a small box safe for nic and keep it under your bed. Room temp isn't the best but better than nothing. It might darken and lose a bit of potency but with menthol flavoring you might not even notice. You could keep the mixed juice in an olive oil bottle in the fridge.

THANKS - All very good suggestions - Maintenance Guys friendly - so No Need to move "Stuff" (most of vape gear is out of sight in a closet/dresser draw anyway ) . . .

Best thing would be to have someone else store some nic for you. That's not always possible.

Yep - it would be nice - although I do have a couple of friends that live about an hour away - they don't have the room in their freezer either, especially not any to give up their Ice cream for. . .
