If you had seen me trying to get the top cap off an rba,you would have died laughing. I used:
3 types of pliers
vise grip
those kitchen grabbie things
putting in freezer
putting in hot water
tapping with a hammer
rubber bands

finally put it on a coil master and twisted/pulled with pliers. It came off but also took the adapter thing off the coilmaster.
I find myself using those kitchen grabbie things more and more the older I get. :)

Glad I'm not alone!

I have to use Vice Grips to open my Lemo 2. I just dont have the hand strength to do it without.
Not sure how the Lemo works or what you're trying to screw/unscrew (cap or base or both) but will a paper clip in the air hole work for added leverage?

No the air hole is a whole separate piece. That trick works for me with the Kayfun.

I got to remember that one.

From the "what did we learn today" department, I made my first DIY batch. So I decided to clean/re-wick my KFL+ for the occasion, and avoid contaminating my creation with store bought liquid dregs. I had worn some nitrile gloves for handling the nic concentrate and just left them on. Sure made twisting that KFL+ apart much easier.

Curious, how would you have gone about that?

The plastic bottle was relatively thick. The childproof top was the kind that seems to only turn in one direction and has a clicking sound while it turns around. I gave the bottle to my brother for him to try, and he was unsuccessful, too. So it wasn't just me.

I have had some tough ones to open before, they were the 2 part type of cap. I had to pry off the outer part, to get to the inner part, and got it open.

hey, long timers.
i've heard of prior panics,
is this the same thing?
are we just working ourselves into a frenzy?

Look at it this way. Some states already are seeing flavor bans and even a full out ban on vaping. More will follow. In the end no matter what Trump does it is all gone in May if not sooner.

This time all the signs point to this being the real deal vapocalypse. Making plans for how you plan to weather storm is just prudent. How much time you have to do it? No one knows.

Think of it like an approaching Hurricane. If you wait until the evac order goes out to begin boarding up your windows you are too late.

This is the real deal.... it's already happening. Flavors will be banned, it's inevitable at this point, the only question is to what extent will things go? Are they going to ban refillables and unflavored nic would be the 2 big questions on every DIY'ers mind. <<<- that is what I am preparing for.
