I'm trying to find a way to get the exhale a little smoother

Get some .9% Saline (Wound Wash/Flush).
It's pure water and .9% saline solution, and comes in a spray can, but comes out in a stream that is easy to direct into a dripper bottle.
I add about 1 drop per 2ml. to my juice.
It brings out the flavor (just like in cooking), smooth's, .. and blends the flavors together
It is great with any juice flavor, but especially fruits and chocolates.

There is a saline solution you spray in your nose and inhale ..but that's the wrong one.
It has added ingredients.
You want the one without anything in it except the .09 saline and water, and it's used to clean wounds.

Apple Cider Vinegar also works (changes the PH)
Yep .. found in the kitchen .. some like the "White" instead of the Apple Cider.
You won't taste the cider or saline in the juice, but they make big changes, and are great additives to experiment with.

You can also add a drop or two per 3ml of a tobacco.
Use one that is super mild like: Smooth, ..7 leaves,.. or Liquid Gold
It will give the juice "body", and brings the flavors together .. you won't taste the tobacco either.

Just mix up some small 2ml tests (with your juice) and compare them to each other, to see which one you like the best.
Have fun in the "science lab"

I have that saline wash, too. Haven't been exactly sure how to use it, so thanks for posting this Slots. I'm usually a higher PG person. Too much VG and my chest feels heavy and congested, but I've been wanting to try the saline to lighten that up.

I have the same problem with VG, and I make my mixes 50/50. Recently I've been adding 5% saline solution (I make it at home), and that really seems to help with the dryness.

Care to share this secret process?? Please??

I have always thought that there had to be an easy and safe way. Especially since I learned how to make a good coffee extract flavoring - see my blog to learn how to do this yourself.

5% with no saltiness? That'd be WONDERFUL. If it matters, I'm using cotton on a 2.2 - 2.5 build micro(ish) coil. In reading stuff, I was gonna start at 3%, but if 5 works, then I'm all for it. Thank you.

I use kosher salt - on the container it says '1/4tsp=0.7grams).
So, for a 0.9% saline solution I use 1/2 tsp salt in 150ml of distilled water (1.4mg salt).
Stick it in the microwave until it boils, and let it disolve. I just use a pyrex measuring jug.

It's obviously approximate, but close enough. I then add 5% of this to my nic base of 50/50 vg/pg.

(Hope I got the math right this time - it tastes fine!).

Thanks. I am known to spend money foolishly - almost every day! I just could not bring myself to pay "drug-store" prices for salt water. These are about the two most common things in my environment...and the cheapest.

I will check the math. I will run it thru at least one of the popular DIY calculators. Then I will use one of my 2 digital (.01gm) scales to assure proper amounts.

Then, as a final quest for accuracy, I will ask my son to "make this for me". He is a chemist and mixes stuff all day - every day. But, he is a total non-smoker that refuses to even try one of my DIY vape recipes. Nope, nothing like this in his mouth or lungs... :)

Thanks again.

I won't let my 16-year old daughter near my vape stuff - except to smell my DIY concoctions for her opinions, since she's such a foodie LOL

I seek the advice of my son and my granddaughter. He is 38 and a professional chemist. However, he never has an opinion. Just the facts-jack! My 9 year old granddaughter is my assistant (never around nic.) I let her assist in mixing pg/vg/flavorings and discussing the resulting flavors. She prefers the digital scale "Because it is right on" and no guessing... OK, fruits and sweets...No tobacco...

We both use a toothpick to the tongue and maybe a little water to check out our concoctions. She has opinions! She really is some help.

I am blessed to live with them. I am "Mr. Mom", and I love it!!
