I have TFA Cranberry and it ISN"T alc. They must have 2 versions.

Just now from their site. Only one.
"
Cranberry Flavor**

water soluble
This is a natural, bright cranberry flavor - not too tart and not too sweet.

Ingredients: Natural Flavors, Ethyl Alcohol
"

"Flavors marked with ** are flammable, and can not ship overseas "

It is... my all day vape for a year and a half, now. Where is Clayville? I live in Lockport, NY (Western NY, near Niagara Falls). BTW, cute pups.

Clayville is 15 minutes outside of Utica!! so we are almost neighbors- thanks on the pups too, they are my babies

Both the Cranberry Flavor(alc) TFA and Tobacco Blend (Alc) TFA contain alcohol. How does that impact the vape? Meaning TH, burn,cough...... if at all?

I don't think it impacts it at all, though I have never used anything else. The Tobacco Blend is also available in a PG base, but I think the main component of it, Tobcco Absolute, is more soluable in alcohol. Did not know that the cranberry was alc based.

Thanks. I added the Tobacco Blend(PG) to my DB. So, which one did you use?

RY4 regular and double have different notes to them. Not sure why it's called double because honestly, I don't think they taste anything alike. I will say that I have both and like both. Differences, to me, are that RY4 I can vape immediately, while RY4 I don't like until it steeps for at least a week. Also, ry4 double is sweeter to me and has more dimension it its flavor. The stuff is cheap, I would get both and see for yourself. I've already repurchased both flavors. Wizard Labs has the best price for the amount you get. (if it's in stock)
I think it's called double, because the first Ry4 tastes like vanilla with no caramel. The Ry4 double has a very tasty caramel flavor that probably would taste great with the original. My problem is I don't taste much tobacco in either of them.

I have been experimenting with the Earl Grey. The first batch was at 15% and you could have stripped
paint with it! 8-o To make a long story short after several failed attempts (down to 5%) it was still too
strong.:( I did come up with a winner tho, call it Pineapple Tea:
8% pineapple
2% earl Grey
1% EM
If you don't care for Pineapple Mango works well too :headbang:

I don't know if I should be posting an opinion yet being very new to this.

I didn't find the Earl Grey too strong @ 5%. Earl Gray is a strong tea.

I mixed:

TFA Earl Grey 5%
TFA Honey 5%

I can taste both the Earl Grey and the Honey actually after steeping for just a few days it is very pleasing.

I think I pretty much already answered my question, but I would like to see the answer on the screen.

All these percentages of flavorings are of total volume correct? So the previous recipe would be a total of 10% of the total batch? Some other flavor mixes would be 25% of the 30 mls of the batch was made...

Lets say i made two small test batches and I really enjoy flavor 1 at 5% and flavor 2 at 10%. If I wanted to mix these flavors into one 30ml batch, I would put 5% of flavor 1 and 10% of flavor two to create an equal parts flavor mix... but if I want to have a more dominat flavor 2, what would I do? Reduce the percentage of flavor one?? Wouldnt that just remove the sweet spot of where I like that juice? I am a total noob on this mixing and have read and learned a lot, but was just wondering how you guys would do it?

Thanks

Not equal, they each have their % of the total.

You're correct on %'s of total volume. But alas, the second part of your question is the conundrum! Once you start mixing flavors they interact differently with each other. If 5% were the sweet spot I would increase flavor 2 a little at a time(1%). If you are experimenting you should mix test batches in say 3ml batches. Then after a couple of hits, add a drop or two of flavor before the volume has been decreased to much. But remember, all drops are not equal. You need to do something like this so you can figure out the correct percentages after you have added the "drops". Or, use a calculator to figure out the .x ml. of another 1 %. Trial and error is the only way!

%'s are pretty much always of total, so that's a safe assumption.

As for mixing two together. Let say you had a 10ml bottle of single flavor A at 5% and a 10ml bottle of single flavor B at 10% and you know that each of these is fine the way they are, but you want to mix them together. You would have a 20ml bottle at 7.5% total flavoring. (1.5ml of flavoring in 20ml's).

Of course you now get into the fun stuff as some flavorings play "nice" and combine the way you expect, some play "mean" and combine in ways you'd never expect, and then most just play "weird" and boost parts of the other flavor while hiding other parts of that same flavor so the real fun of slightly juggling the flavoring ratios to get the perfect combination can begin. That's the best part...

The most play weird statement isn't what I wanted to hear, why can't we all get along :p
