So is blueberry candy recommended to start at 13%?

Actually an immediate HOT water rinse should cancel the effect. Pull the plunger completely out and rinse liberally. I have found several flavors that cause rubber swelling.
Put a little Vaseline on the plunger.
That just might workatleast as a temp fix

I would use a little bit of VG. It will keep it moving freely and it goes in the juice anyway. I bought a box of 100 10ml syringes and a box of 100 1ml syringes for $25-$30 total with shipping off amazon. I had been using the same 5ml syringes for over a year though. I also have 2 10ml graduated cylinders and a 25ml graduated cylinder but don't use it as much as I use the 2 10ml ones. I use the cylinders for the PG/VG and usually use syringes for my nic and flavorings.
Yeah I saw a box of 50 1ml syringes for like $10 on ebay I think im gonna grab that and use either vaseline or vg as lube for the plunger untill they get here. Thanks guys!

EO levels in the flavoring, and or certain EO's (Tank crackers) are probably more of the issue here than Alcohol itself!
I've used plenty of Alc based flavors without issue in plastic syringes, but then those same syringes can be melted into a mess, or seized instantly with certain EO's straight, or high level of "plastic OK" EO's in Alc or PG
Bannanna is a cracker isn't it? That's probably the main issue there, if a flavor is a tank cracker then normally the same or worse applies to syringes because you are using it concentrated in the syringe, so it's effect on plastic may happen much quicker than a mixed liquid in a tank, or may even happen instantaneously![]()
Syringes are made of polypropelene, which does not crack from those types of flavors - the plastic that is susceptible to cracking and clouding are acetate and polycarbonate.
In fact, if you can find the right diameter syringe, they make great tanks.
