(FA)Bilberry at .5 or 1% is a nice addition to Blue wild and xtra, it makes the blue part stand out.
I bet it does
I have had real problems with finding a good blueberry. They really are a soft or "delicate" type flavor.
I have the TFA Blueberry, and the TFA Blueberry Extra, and have gone up to 11% with each in a solo test, and still don't taste blueberry.
I've tried every company out there, and the only company's that comes close to the taste of blueberries is Inawera's Blueberry EA or FA Bilberry (for me).
If you go to Europe, and ask for Blueberry's, they serve Bilberry's, as that is their version of blueberries.
When you compare the two berry's together, they look exactly alike except the blueberry is white inside, and the bilberry is dark, which give it a stronger, and slightly different flavor.
Bilberries are not the same taste as blueberries to me, but if I want anything close to a blueberry flavor, I use the FA Bilberry or Inawera Blueberry EA in the recipe, or even solo.
Hope your taste buds are better than mine :(

Thanks for your take on blueberry, billberry, and coconut, Slots. I've shied away from those flavors from fear of disappointment. For me coconut is hard to get right in a lot of food recipes... I'm with you, I LOVE coconut, but it has to be the right amount, and the flavor profile has to be there. Otherwise, what's the point, right?

I'm toying with blueberry too... I have Blueberry Extra and Blueberry Wild (which tastes more like real blueberries to me). I've been trying to put together a decent blueberry muffin, but it's proving harder than I thought. Got one I like but it doesn't really taste like a muffin, so I dubbed it "blueberry something" lol

I also have Blueberry from CAP, and it has more of a blueberry candy-ish flavor. Not bad, just not a "real" blueberry taste to me.

Sounds like what I went thru, trying to come up with something blueberry-muffinish... just couldn't seem to find it. I know it's possible because sweet-vapes does it, but I couldn't nail it down. So I switched to strawberry and made the excellent juice that I've been vaping pretty much non-stop since sometime before xmas. :D

Welcome and HI! to Kenna! This forum is where I learned to make that awesome strawberry & cream, and I still hang around, just to get new ideas. I'm actually pretty lazy when it comes to mixing, but sometimes I see something that I just HAVE to try. :D

    Somewhere between here and there
I'm working on a honeydew, peach, and strawberry combination. The first try was actually too much flavor and a bit too sweet with only 1% sweetener added so I dropped the percentages and put in 2% sweet and tart but it's still not where I want it.

I did a similar mix a couple weeks ago. I'm new to DIY but can say I've noticed my fruit juices are much sweeter and flavorful after 2 weeks vs time of mix even without sweetener. I found this out with a 11% dragonfruit, 8% juice peach mix. It was dry and not so good for the first week. Two weeks later the dragonfruit melded with the peach and it was incredibly juicy. I just made a 120ml bottle

I think Inawera has the most concentrated flavours out there. A little more expensive than others but when you consider that you only need a small amount for an intense flavour it is worth it in the long run. For instance I find I only need 5 drops or so of the Inawera blackcurrant for a very flavourful vape.

I love coconut too and do like the coconut flavours....even if they are absolutely nothing like the real thing. :) They're pretty good.... just not coconut. :D

Yay @Kenna! Glad you're here :) Congrats to you and @Kaezziel on your 'versaries!!!!!

Kenna, hunt for the dropbox - there's a buzz-load of recipes, many from the venerable Bill's Magic Vapor. I've tried a number of these recipes, and they're pretty WONDERFUL. I keep my mixing philosophy pretty simple. Measure flavorings (I use 1mL disposable pipettes) and nic and then just top with my VG. I have pre-mixed bottles of 50P/50V as well as 25P/75V in addition to 100V. I am less concerned with my PG/VG ratio, so as long as my flavors are close and my nic is +/- 0.5mg/mL in a batch, I'm good.

Getting away from DIY and wanted to ask what can I do with the 30-40 flavor concentrates I have.......after months of trying I have only come up with 1 or 2 that I enjoy......so with them and the couple of ones I buy online I am satisfied. I know I am among the MINORITY.....but I have simple tastes.

If you're wanting to get rid of them you might try putting them in the PIF section or find someone who is just starting out and send them. Or you could offer them for sale in the Sale or trade section of the forum.

I guess i'm in the minority with ya haha.I have around 4 that i make pretty often,2 of which are my main go to's that i make large bottles of.I do try new ones every once in a while, but not like i used to.I went crazy in the beginning and was buying every flavor i seen,so i have alot that never get used, but i hold onto them anyway since my son vapes now,i figure if he see's something he might like i can make it for him to try,but for me,i have 6 flavors that i use to make my go to stuff, and i'm perfectly happy with just those now.
