I'll share a recipe from New Amsterdam Vapes on YouTube that I mixed up and it came out quite nicely:

blueberry & lemon
Ingredient %
Berry Crunch (TPA) 1
Blueberry Wild (TPA) 6
DX Bavarian Cream (TPA) 2
Graham Cracker (Clear) (TPA) 2
Lemon (TFA) 3

Strength: 3mg/ml
PG/VG: 30/70
Flavor total: 4.2 ml (14%)
O YUM!

Andria that sounds nice. I'm going to think about getting one. Did you order from the place you gave the link to?

Yep... I used "domestic expedited shipping" for $6-something, got it in 2 wks from Hong Kong.

Well, I'm weak evidently. Andria you talked me into it. I've been wanting a better dripping atomizer. The only one I have is an igo L and to me the flavor never seems right in it. I get better flavor from kfl's and clearos than the igo.

I always got the best flavor from my kayfuns, and also from my Magma; the flavor in an Achilles is very much on par with either of those, but the light weight, the non-leaking, the top-filling... have weaned me from Kayfuns completely. Still use the Magma; despite its proneness to leaking, it's fine for my 'alternate' vape that always stays on my desk; I don't vape it often enough to have to be constantly re-dripping, and since I don't try to take it anywhere, the leaking isn't a huge issue either. But for going out and about, the Achilles is great, since it doesn't leak, and holds plenty for most errand-type excursions, and being so easy to refill, if I'm going to be gone longer, I just take a little bottle of juice along -- like 5ml.

With the tight airflow and intense TH, not only did I drop my nic level (10mg to 9mg), I also dropped my wattage level (10w to 8-9w), so the Achilles is as conservative on juice usage as a cartotank. I was out for nearly 3 hrs Wednesday, a lot of that time driving (which means a good bit of vaping), and I didn't have to refill till I'd been home for a couple hrs.

Man, that is a definitely 'low flow' rda, Andria. The most restricted rda that I have is/was a Tobh V2.5... and I shaved the tabs and opened up the airholes to a tear-drop shaped slot. I don't think I'd ever get used to the one that you're using. I've gotten way too used to open airflow, lung hits. Even my one-and-only daily use tank has 10X more airflow than that rda... LOL. I'm not pickin' on ya, I've just never seen an rda like that. Makes me wonder if I could modify it to open up the air-flow a bit though, cause that would be a pretty awesome rda with nickel coils on my temp control mod... maybe I could cut off the air-stem, drill it out and insert a larger diameter tube in its place, then drill the hole larger from the side and remove the adjustment screw... might be worth picking one up and giving it a shot...

Yeah that sounds possible, for anyone capable/willing to do that kind of intensive modification; be sure that whatever tube you stick in there is sealed though, or you'd lose about half of its rated 2.5ml (also, you might not be able to lay it down on its side without leaking, if the airhole under the coil is wider).

As I said, it's a tootle puff, strictly MtL, as it is. With the airflow screw completely removed, it's roughly the same as a KFL+ at about half-closed.

Yeah, I'd either set it up for a metal-to-metal seal or groove it for an o-ring. I deal with high pressure set-up equipment at work and am thoroughly familiar with sealing surfaces and types. I tried puffing on a KF (don't know which one) one time... I thought I was gonna turn my face inside-out it was such a tight draw. I honestly don't think I could ever go back to cigs, for that reason alone... it'd be such a hard draw compared to my adv rigs. But I'm not much for juice conservation either. I can easily go through 15ml in a day. I just bumped my nic back up to 15% from 8% to try to slow down a bit... didn't help...

Well, since you DIY your juice, I guess it's no particular hardship, to use so much. I also DIY about 99% of what I vape, but with my asthma, I've spent a while trying to get a vape that satisfied me, that doesn't deliver quite so much vapor -- the Achilles definitely fills the bill! I imagine it would make a good stealth vape too, for that reason, particularly with high PG as I use (86/14) -- my vapor is gone in seconds, even without making any effort to hide it, but the TH is so intense, it's perfectly satisfying to me.

I ordered one. Most times I'm using low wattage vaping so I think it might be a good fit for me. I usually build my kayfuns around 1.5 ohms. I ordered some new top caps for them that are supposed to let you top fill them. That is one thing I get tired of is taking the tank off and using a screwdriver to fill.
