Alot of people are using those top caps on the orchid and most have said they are very nice.I have heard a few complaints about one brand,not sure where they were from,but people were having issues with them not sealing tight,but most i have read about love them.

You and me both.I had been using an orchid for a few months,and decided to try a kayfun.I felt like i was trying to suck a golf ball through a straw haha.I drilled out the air hole as big as i could get it,and it was better,but still not great,so it got used 2 times before it got shelved haha.
Higher nic levels don't seem to slow me down either.When i started using my bottom feeders,i was thinking of dropping my nic level because everyone always says use a low level with rda's,but i happily vape my 18mg all day on a dual coil .4 ohm setup,if i dropped my level i would probably never put my mod down haha.
If I were wanting to use the HFM and ATM technique but have already made a base of 30/70 PG/VG 9mg nic - how would I go about it? Use the 100DT using flavorings but what about the PG/VG? Use a 50/50 blend? Then there is the nic content in the final mix. I can add more nic - I have 100mg. Just didnt want to head down the wrong path but this sounded correct in my head. lol
I don't remember where I saw it but someone said that there is a replacement base for the kayfuns that has a lot more airflow.
There's a great calculator that would help with this -- DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors With Nicotine Plus PG/VG Adjusting -- you can enter that 30/70 9mg mix as an ingredient, and it allows you to set all those individually, the PG/VG and nic -- then add your flavors as ingredients, whatever percentage -- they're all pretty much 100% PG -- at the top, set your targets for nic level and PG/VG -- and then calculate it, and it will show you how much to add, in ml, of each individual thing, including anymore nic or PG/VG you need to add, to hit your target.

I run three also, but filling doesn't bother me. I think it's because I never dripped. No pop off a top, drip pop back on. That would make me nuts. I like my KF's. Just fill it & that's it for hours.
I would mind less if I didn't have to take out that tiny screw. The top fill bases were in my mailbox when I got home. I put one on a full size kfl+ and so far so good. They don't fit with the nano setup. The short chimney doesn't seat into the oring in the cap.
I think FT sells the longer top cap replacements.
Do you know where to buy the tall clear M tanks? My kits came with the full size solid and the clear nano kit. I like to see my liquid level so I'm thinking I'd like some full size clear tubes.
Kidney puncher seems to have the best prices on those. I wasted some money buying them on ebay before I discovered kidney puncher.

I have that exact top fill cap and had to sand down mine with a little emery cloth as the top screw on piece would bottom out before it would compress the o-rings. The fill holes are really tiny as well. It works for my Kayfun 3.1 as I never had a bottle that would fit the fill port and I hated taking the top cap off to fill it.
So far so good on the top cap. No leaking and my needle tip bottles fit great in the holes.
