What hittman stated, very true....some tfa flavors are very strong/potent....also recc some creams for balancing/smoothing. And sweetener....might suggest BMV blogs...even if not mixing hfm for atm tasting, he shared some great info, and hfm can be halved/quartered for lf%mixing, it's a matter of what works for you/your tastes/needs

Coupons for tfa direct...I don't have...I bulk buy there, great prices to begin with if sign up for wholesale acct(recc once find your preferred flavors ) but there are coupons some times for resellers out there ex. If you use ecigexpress sometimes coupons or bcv or gremlin...keeping eye out for Columbus day codes, not sure if any posted yet by vendors, haven't seen any but someone might run a sale?

Thank you.

I checked some suppliers but their prices seem higher than buying direct.

I'm only buying ~$100 worth, but figured a 10% coupon could pretty much give me free shipping.

I'll probably just pull the trigger.

Yeah, those wholesale prices are amazing and Linda runs such a wonderful company, providing so much info and customer service for a flavor company that goes above and beyond, I can see wanting to save some on a large order...but have fun mixing with your soon to arrive goodies, shipping for me in the past has been quick!

I started DIY a couple of days ago, some nice members here, thankfully, provided me with a list for percentages to be used with TFA flavors. I started with nicotine free 5 ml testers using single flavor for each bottle
The vape production is nice but the problem is that the flavor is so strong to the degree that I feel a little bit sick in my stomach
Should I go lower than the recommended percentage? Will that work?
like Hittman said, you adjust percentages to suit yourself. Just be sure you write down what you do so you'll know, next time, where to start. When you get into recipies you'll still adjust percentages for each flavor depending on which one should to dominant, or what you want to taste a bit more of. Like making BBQ Sauce from scratch, there is a base of ingredients that everyone starts with, then add more, or use less of certain things until you get what you want.

I am trying to stay with all tfa flavors but one I am making samples of calls for yellow cake I have cupcake or what else could I use that would be a close tfa replacement ?

Look at the flavor profiles for both online. See if there is a difference, like does one have a frosting note. If yellow cake doesn't, but cupcake does, then that will make difference in the flavor you end up with. If you want frosting notes in your final recipe then go for it. Frosting could act as a sweetner, so you might reduce any sweetner used in your recipe just a bit.

You've came along at a good time to start reading through this giant thread,as it has slowed down quite a bit. When i first started trying to read through it,i would come home from work, and there would be like 15 new pages to try and catch up with haha.

Today was mixing day for me, was getting low on my ADVs. Posted awhile ago looking for Pumpkin Pie recipes but not much response. Decided to wing it, mixed up a couple of Pumpkin Pies using TFA Pumpkin and Pumpkin Spice and another using LA Pumpkin and CAP Pumpkin Pie (Spice). Also tried to do a Pumpkin Roll and a Pumpkin Custard.

I'm not exactly sure what magic mask does, but i think it just helps smooth out the flavors.A small amount of citric acid is used to stabilize the juice,so if you like how it tastes when you put it in,it will stay that way and the flavor won't change.

Its about a week now with DIY and I am very excited with my mixes. Trying different ratios and flavors and all working very nice except for the coffee clear one. It gives me a really hard time and never seems to work. I mixed it at 3% in a 5 ml 50/50 and 6mg. It has been steeping for almost a week and everyday I taste it, it is the same as it was first time
Is there anything that I should to the mix to make it work?

What is it that seems "wrong" or lacking in it to you? What are you wanting from it? Try to narrow it down specifically. Maybe someone can help with more info.

A percent of cream or vanilla to soften the coffee may work. A touch of Carmel. Irish cream the choices are endless. All the coffee flavors I have tried sort of have the black coffee taste it is hard to eliminate if you don't like that flavor. You may try a drop or three of plain base in a dropper to see if it is just too strong
