Has anyone else tried the Honeydew II? It literally tastes like my original Honeydew that went bad (it was old). I guess it's back to the "regular" honeydew ;)
@The Goo, I got Honeydew a couple of months ago. Nothing on the bottle or invoice says anything about the version. It seems really strong to me, but it's spot on honeydew.

I put in an order with BCV yesterday and am getting the stuff I was missing to make lemonade along with some cap strawberry and ny cheesecake. Does anyone know what the difference is between the NY cheesecake and the V2? I just got the regular since I know I like it and the V2 was out of stock.
The v2's are reformulated without the 'bads'. I get the v1's.

I have tried some of the tfa dx flavors and they seem to be ok but I'm not really very concerned about the bad stuff. It's my opinion that the bad stuff in flavors is way less harmful than what I was getting from cigarettes. If there's a flavor without the bad stuff and it still tastes good then I'd be ok with that.

I've tried a lot of the "improved, safer to vape" flavors .. when they take to "bad stuff" out, it takes the flavor with it in my opinion.
Like you .. after diluting by mixing, it's such a small amount, I'm not concerned in the least.

I agree. I'm not worried about it at all.

I agree that, after dilution, the bad stuff is present only in small amounts. However, I feel like I am able to make a great tasting juice with the DX versions, so why not go ahead and use them.

As Bill would say, part of the beauty of DIY. What works for us is the right way. And by the way, where the heck is Bill these days?!?

I'm with you & Hitt on that. The amount is soooo much less than the same things in cigarettes. I'm not concerned. The flavor suffers & flavor is part of what keeps me from smoking.

I'm really excited to get my latest order. I found the lemonade recipe on Dropbox and will have the stuff to make it. I hope it's as good as the lemonade flavor I bought before.
It's been a long time since i made it,so i can't remember if that recipe had koolada in it or not,but if it doesn't i would suggest adding some.I've tried a few different lemonade recipes, and 1 of them did not call for it,and it wasn't great haha, but after adding it,it tasted just like a cold glass of lemonade.

I've been buying hardware too. A couple new mods and a couple drippers, and five tanks so far. I would like to find a super good deal on some Uwell crown tanks. I tried one clone and will only buy authentic ones now.

...flavor is part of what keeps me from smoking...

So true for me as well, gotta have that flavor. I am down to .25mg nic from the 18mg I started at almost three years ago. At this point I feel like this is less an addiction and more a tasty hobby!

I did not lower my nic until I started using the subohm coils. Then you almost have to. At 12%(which I used since I started vaping almost 6 yrs ago), I was happy and could chain vape all day, no problem. You just can't use the same higher strengths with the subohm, it will not only knock your socks off, but you will over-nic in a big hurry. Something to consider these days. Also a good way to help preserve whatever stash you may have.

    :)

Hey folks, long time no type.

Haven't made anything super tasty lately, just the standards.

Getting ready to play with my Captain Crunch love child again. Got news that the one I had been buying till Feb. might not be coming back from hiatus, so it needs perfecting. He said the last rendition was ok, but too milky.

Had a great idea for a flavor, don't have some ingredients... isn't that the way out always works? Pistachio, honey, and butterscotch. Maybe a little heavy cream. Got the idea cuz everybody I work with are fad-ing on the peanut butters and I hate peanut butter, so why not switch up the nuts? 'Stachio butter! Maybe I'll try a hazelnut version too. Think I got all those!

Got a decent hardware stash going for vapeageddon, so now it's time to get the nic. Been on the lookout for good deals. Vaportek's not doing the TH nic anymore I believe, and MFS hasn't had a $40/liter sale in awhile. I calculated it out (but I don't think I did it right), if I continue around 5mls @ 4.5mg and SO stays at 10 @ 6mg, we're looking at about 3yrs a liter. So I'd need at least four to five liters... just in case, assuming drop in nic levels over time. Need a sale, cuz $100 a pop ain't gonna fly in that quantity!

Most of the nic sellers are being swamped right now and see no reason to offer sales or discounts. I picked up a liter from ChemNic when they had their last promotion. I want to get another one but am holding out for a sale. I did a little more hardware stocking today. I have two rafale tanks and another crown tank coming. I got two rda's in the mail yesterday and along with what I have I should be good now on hardware. My biggest problem is I always want to try out everything I get and then don't end up packing it up for storage. I'm trying hard to change that.

I do the same thing. I just got five mech setups and am currently using two although they're all supposed to be oh crap supplies. My big ones right now are extra replacement parts like glass, silicone seals and vw mods. Was gonna pick up another Pico but I think I like the TC on the Evic VTC Mini better, adjustable watts.

Can anybody confirm my nic calculations? (1000Mls x 100Mg) / (Usage Mg x Mls per day x 365) = How many years a liter will last from average usage?

Totally understand the vendors are swamped. Just kinda hoping. Wish VT would put the TH nic back up, that's way better for my wallet and I highly doubt the oxidation would bother me.

Try this, its what I came up with and use ( I go through about 300ml/mth):

nic volume / nic vape = servings per volume x 100ml = total mixed liquid / vape amount per month = total months of vapable liquid / 12 = years of vapable liquid

for my example, as i do 3mg of nic:
    1000ml/3ml*=333.33 x 100ml = 33333ml / 300 = 111.11 / 12 = 9.259 years
    that help?

    * in a 100ml bottle, 3ml of 100mg nic = 3mg (3ml/100=.03)

I do it by 100ml because its easier to do the math and when mixing i do it in 100ml batches as its easier as most of it is simple add such and such ml and not too may .025 or anything like...i try to keep it simple hehe

I'm not good at math :nah:, but I took this quote from here on the forum, and re-adjusted it to what I use.
At least it gave me a rough idea I could work from.
"If you vape 6ml's a day, at 24mg, one liter will last for 2 years."
I'm sure that was based on using 100mg strength, because at that time, 24mg was what I was vaping, and I was buying 100mg in PG as a base to mix with.
I remember being really happy about finding it, because I was finally able to figure it out.
I have worked my way down to a much lower percentage of usage, so it will last even longer now
