I vape about 15-20ml/day at 3-5mg/ml, for a total of 45-100mg nic per day. So, ballpark 75mg nic/day, or 0.75ml of 100mg/ml base.

365 * 0.6ml = about 274ml of nic base per year. Of course, that's assuming zero waste, and I vape every drop I make. Realistically, I'd say I could get by for a year on 300ml.

BOOM!

After weeks of uncoordinated experimenting I finally managed to produce a fairly tasty juice based on TFA Ginger Ale. I wasn't able to find any recipes using it. I suspect it could be improved but here is what I got so far.

TFA Ginger Ale 8%
Cap Sweet Cream 2%
Cap Graham Cracker 2%
TFA French Vanilla Crème 1%
TFA Honey 2%

The way I vape I have 2 juices that I use most of the time. And half a dozen that I take a hit on once in a while for a change of pace. Doing that seems to refresh my palate. This will be one of the second group.

I don't have a system, I make 10 ml batches in 15ml bottles and change the ingredients and percentages for no particular logical reason in each batch until it tastes good. I should probably get more scientific and use the 100 drop method or something, it would be a lot quicker.

I'm here, when I'm here
I'm ready to pull the same trigger. Please post up your brand and observations when you start to break it down.

Well, here's the brand...

1-Gal-100mg

Got the 100ml bottles yesterday. Just need to sterilize them up and get to fillin'. Picked up one of these, too...

Gallon Despensing Pump

Should make things easier. :D (at least I hope it makes things easier) :?: I'll let y'all know about the rest.

Heck, I thought I was doing good with a liter and a half. However, I only go through about 2ml of 20mg a day so what I have should last me a long time. I'm still contemplating buying another liter.

Don't know how backed-up they are but you can get 100mg/1 litre for between $38-$44 depending on whether you pick plastic or glass.
    DIY E-Liquid Nicotine 1 Liter

Thinking on getting 1 from here myself.

For those looking for an even better deal,if your looking to get more than 1 liter, they have a liter of 200mg for $67.99,break it down right when you get it,and you have 2 liters of 100mg extremely cheap.

I was looking at that, but for me since I already have some 100mg, decided against it. Plus I think I would get nervous around 200mg and probably make a mess. I just recently got ok with 100mg but every body's different. It is a good option if space is limited.

Wow....good space saver, but with my hands, I don't think I'd pour very good when breaking into smaller quantities. Probably make a mess.

I was nervous when i first started using 100mg,but after getting it on my hands a few times and realizing my skin wasn't going to melt,i felt alot better haha. Now i will say,i will definitely be nervous with the higher mg.,but the cost savings is too good to pass up for me.I have plenty of vg to break it down with, and will pour it into a beaker to break down before rebottling,so i don't have to worry about it getting anywhere near my hands.

Wow awesome deal! Do they have a coupon code? yah, I know - still thinking of jumping on a few of these either way - what with my limited space and all this would be fantastic!

I've tried a lot of the "improved, safer to vape" flavors .. when they take to "bad stuff" out, it takes the flavor with it in my opinion.
Like you .. after diluting by mixing, it's such a small amount, I'm not concerned in the least.

V2 flavors are extremely popular , the reviews are outstanding especially the Capella V2 stuff , i like them much better than the V1 stuff .

V1 stuff irritates my throat and i hate an overpowering butter flavor .

I haven't searched for one yet,but i will definitely be looking before i buy. It's a great price either way,it quoted me a bit over $7 for shipping, and still only comes out to $75,but if i can find a code and save a few bucks,i'll be even happier haha.
I agree on being good for limited space too.I plan to buy 1 here very soon and split it down to 2- 100mg liters, but i also plan to grab 2 more of these before August, and those i will pay the extra $4 or so,and get them in glass, then leave them as is in the back of the freezer.

    Yup, I have both versions.
Basically I guess I was talking in general ... several company's have come out with "safer" versions, and some I just can't taste anymore, and don't care for.
Cap's is not bad per say, but some flavors really "disappeared' in other flavors.
My taste buds really suck after 56 years of smoking, and if I can't taste it, I dump it ... I PIF tons of bottles. :nah: It's been 4 years now, and I've got back all the taste buds I'm ever going to get :(
I'm always happy when I can find a flavor I can taste and enjoy without using the whole bottle of flavoring

After not making it for close to a year,i decided to make a batch of Bill's fire & ice recipe.Back when i made it before,it was my adv for a few months, using it in a protank on a 15 watt vamo.Fast forward to now,and i put it in my Griffin with my mod set to 40 watts, talk about an eye opener haha. After backing it down to 35 watts,it is fantastic, going back into the adv rotation for a good while now.
I made a bottle of his 54 Fireball not long back. I really like it, but I can't vape it all day. I keep a tankful on a mod all the time and vape it here and there.

If you're thinking long-term on those 200mg, you might want to put a feeler out to @Kurt, he kinda talked me out of going beyond 100mg/mL. He mentioned he had some separation issues when he tried storing the higher nics. I don't know how long, or how bad, I just remember he said it wasn't worth it to him. Maybe he'll step in and comment.
Braking it down and diluting right away is probably not a problem (though I'm not sure how handling requirements change). But it might not be a bad idea to have an idea what to watch for if you're planning on parking it to the back.
    FWIW... :D
