Whew that is a lot of cake batter! Shake and vape?

Because I like to tinker I'll whip up a small batch with only CAP Sweet Strawberry @10% (since that is all I have :)).
It could possibly be shake and vape,i can't say for sure haha.I quit making strawberry juices because i never found any i liked, but someone asked me to make them a strawberry custard,so i made this one,and it sat for a month and they never came to get it.It was a 120ml bottle,so i didn't want to waste all that,so decided to see if i could tolerate going through it,and now i plan to make more haha.
As for the 10% Capella sweet strawberry, that is what the recipe originally called for was 10%,i didn't have enough left to do 10% in the 120ml,so that's where i subbed in the 4% strawberry ripe,so it should still come out good.

I finally got some of the cap sweet strawberry. I just mixed some strawberry cheesecake with it instead of the usual ripe strawberry. I'm going to let it sit overnight and try it tomorrow.

I think your somehow reading my mind haha.First with the stumpy, and now talk of wood mods haha.I absolutely love the look of wood mods,my first that i built was oak.My first Abaddon was the wood and brass one, sadly,i dropped it after converting it,and broke the wood where the sqounk hole is,but i'm going to get a nice piece of stabilized wood, and make a new section for that one. After i make my hexohm style box,i plan to do another of those with a wood box.I found some nice Mahogany boxes that will make a great mod.

Hahaha! Apparently, we've got a lot more in common than we ever thought, bro. Stumpy, Derringer, wood mods, brass and copper, DIY everything! Stabilized wood is nice, because it can take a little more abuse than most traditional woods. Careful with Mahogany, though... it isn't quite as strong as oak. If you have a milling machine or access to any decent wood working tools (or can figure out how to get by with redneck methods ;) ), try Lacewood. It is a really dense wood that has a strange composition. It machines almost like plastic. Then, once you sand and polish the outside, it has a really cool grain pattern to it. I'm definitely planning on making at least one mod with it.

Ok,first off,to try and get sort of back on topic haha, here is the best strawberry custard i have ever tasted.I am not big on strawberry, but this is fantastic. It is not my recipe,i found it on another site, then changed stuff some, like adding the tfa strawberry, but it's very good.

    Strawberry custard

    6% CAP sweet strawberry
    4% Tfa strawberry ripe
    7.5% CAP VC
    7.5% CAP cake batter
    2 drops per 10ml sweetener

And here is a pic of the last Abaddon i modded,i have a copper one waiting to be modded next.
    Abaddon_zpseccdi7kh.jpg

That Strawberry Custard looks pretty good! I'll have to look and see what I have for CAP flavors, who knows, I may get lucky and be able to make a small batch without having to order anything! :D

Definitely liking that Abaddon mod... maybe I'll check and see if I can find one on the cheap and do a little modding, myself! Thanks, man!

Yeah, any wood working i do is straight red neck methods haha,i have a drill press, bench grinder, some files, and a palm sander as far as wood working tools haha. That lacewood looks sweet though,i've never seen that before,i'll have to check it out.

All my Abaddon's are clones, but i have been getting them off ebay pretty cheap. Most are shipped from China for around $25-$30,but that Brass one came from a US seller, and only cost me $27,and i had it in 2 days.I got a copper one from China for $26 and got that one in a week. They are pretty easy to mod,so of you get one, shoot me a pm,and i'll grab some pics of how i do mine,it's easy, but took a lot of head scratching to figure out at first haha.

Same here. Drill press, belt sander, some files and a Dremel... if I can't make it work with that, then I just need to change my plan. ;) I think you'll really like working with the lacewood. Wait till you see how the material curls out when you drill into it... it'll blow your mind that you're working with wood when you see that!

I'll definitely let you know if I pick one up, ~$30 for a potential BF mech mod is a pretty solid deal, and I don't mind putting in the added work. Much appreciated, brother. Now I'm gonna have to go home and look for my first victim! LOL

I forgot about the dremel,i use it so much i don't how i forgot it,it's almost always in my hand while modding a mod haha.
Yeah, they are pretty easy to mod,i think my total investment in the first one was maybe $40,that was for the mod,a fat daddy bottom feed 510,the drill/tap combo from fat daddy, and a small sheet of copper from ace hardware to make the contacts with.Actually,if you get the mod,let me know and i'll send ya enough copper to make the contact.

Awesome! I'm going to try to look into a few things this weekend if I get a chance. I need to order a bunch of new flavorings and would like to get some new mods/attys before the regulation kerfuffle finds a landing pad. If I manage to get my hands on an Abaddon, I'll definitely get with ya to figure out how best to mod it!

Iza haz one of deez. Does that count?? :D

Absolutely! To a redneck, that's a portable table saw. ;)

    How about a chainsaw?

That is just pure awesomeness! :D

I mixed up a test batch of the lemonade cookie recipe that someone posted a while back. I left out the dulce since I didn't care much for it in the milkshake recipe. Anyway, the lemonade cookie is pretty good. I might add some regular lemonade to it for a little extra lemon kick.

I was making several small batches of Ginger Ale last week, trying out different amounts of honey and cream and so forth. On one of them I misread the amount of Ginger Ale as 1.7 mls instead of 1.07 mls. That raised the % from 8% to around 13%.

Turned out to be just what it needed. I don't normally use that much flavoring, 8% was pretty high for me. Never would have figured it out if I hadn't misread the spreadsheet.

That's a good turn of luck.

Does anyone have lorann tart and sour? I've been making the lemonade recipe with sweet and tart and realized that it calls for tart and sour. I didn't find it at any of the regular flavor suppliers so ordered a bottle from Amazon. I'll be curious to see how much of a difference it makes.

I picked mine up in the clearance section of Walmart. What lemonade recipe are you using? The one I make doesn't call for it.

    The one from Dropbox.

    Lemonade

    FlavorWest Lemonade 14%
    Cotton Candy 10%
    Honey 1%
    Tart and Sour 5%

I cut the cotton candy down to 8%
Thanks! I can't find the one I used. :( It was strawberry, lemonade, dragon fruit, koolada and EM.

Here's the original lemonade cookie recipe someone else posted.

    fe842a78d01d41e6f2cfbb212692b5f5.jpg

I left out the dulce but added a couple drops of lemonade. After sitting in a tank overnight it's super smooth with no throat hit although I mixed it at 20mg. I'm a bit of a TH junkie so even though the flavor is really good I don't know that it'll become a regular for me without a good TH.
