I'm fixin to start mixin!

In the meantime, I have spent the last 3 days mostly reading the preceding 183 pages of posts! I have learned a lot. This is one great basin of knowledge and experience.

Thanks to each one of you that shared your recipes and experiences.

Ever so often, I noticed the list of flavors being brought forward as it received updates.

Will the "holder-of-the-list" please bring it forward? Or, tell me where to go to get the most recent version.

Here is the google spreadsheet(which people can add to it as you go!)

Thank you for posting this spreadsheet!

I have a question. On the recent TFA flavoring list what are those last numbers for? Ex. 4/5 or 5/5 is this a flavor rating? I'm going to try DIY for the first time. My order shipped today from wizard labs and I'm looking forward to give this a try. I have 19 flavors coming so I'm not sure where I'm going to begin. But I've read through most of these pages and took in a lot of information. So thank you to you all! If I have success I'll share with you all. And I'm sure I'll be asking questions of I'm unsuccessful, lol.

the 4/5 and 5/5 is the RATING that the person put on that flavor percentage. (like 5/5 stars on amazon or whatever)

So i'm about to place an order. What flavors do you recommend. I usually vape on fruit and desserts

Strawberry ripe has been a keeper for me. Mixed with dragon fruit and Bavarian cream + sweet cream.

Pomegranate and dragon fruit mixed is good too.

I have tfa mango and mixed for a friend - he likes it a lot.

Not exactly fruit but energy drink is good IMO.

Its a fun process finding flavors I like -- then finding ones that mix well together. Good luck!

Have you ever tried Berry Creamy or Blue Moo from MBV? Any tips on cloning them? Ive tried with just FW sweet cream but it doesnt quite do it, wondering if bavarian might help.

I've had blue moo from mbv but I haven't tried to clone it. I suspect they probably use a couple of different creams in it. Maybe Bavarian and sweet. If I was goona try to make it, I would probably try 9% blueberry 4% bavarian and 3% sweet cream as a starting point.

Im new to the DIY scene and I am looking at flavorings from TFA. I have my basic fruit flavors that I like such as cherry and banana, but I anjoy my ADV to be somewhat of a vanilla/tobacco blend. Two of my favorites for comparisons sake are from Ahlusion: Smooth Criminal and Vanilla Wildwood. Ive been looking around TFAs site and kinda started to get confused about some of the tobacco flavorings. Not so much the tobacco they have listed with the normal flavorings, but the ones under the "molecules used in tobacco blends". Ideally, I would like to create something like the vanilla wildwood, but I know that will probably never happen. I would like to get something very similar to that in a mix I can replicate. Is anyone well versed in the "molecules.." section of TFA?

Let's see...

=RY4 Swirl=
TFA RY4 double 8%
TFA Vanilla Swirl 4%
TFA Caramel Original 3%

To this I'm adding 2% apple cider vinegar and 2% pure grain alcohol. I'm at 50/50 PG/VG. You could try the Bavarian in place of the swirl. This is my version of a recipe posted earlier. Have fun!

Just looked at a 8 ml bottle of RY4 Double I bought from WL over 6 months ago. It is almost completely clear, having the very slightest tinge of yellow to it. Can't help with the smell question, but I'd expect them to smell the same.

If you have one that is very yellow, it may be very old, or has been stored improperly, resulting in some degradation or oxidation. I'd hesitate to use it, as flavoring can and do go bad, especially if the yellow bottle has an 'off' smell to it.
