Nope, using an Aspire Atlantis, so glass tank. It shipped in a plastic bottle though, does it normally come in glass for all sizes when you order?

When i got it,it came in a plastic bottle as well, not sure what tfa sends it in though.I think it's certain plastics that it reacts with,so maybe the bottles are not the same type.I've only used that flavor once, but i didn't notice any cloudiness or stuff forming in the tank, but i think i only added it at like 2%-3% to another recipe though.I did have a reaction with it in my syringe though, not with the plastic, but with the rubber stopper.I drew it up into the syringe and it almost instantly locked up the syringe,i almost broke it trying to push the plunger down, and when i finally got it apart,i lubed the rubber with vg,and it still would not move,so it destroyed that one haha.I haven't used that banana any time after that.

Anything I have ever ordered directly from TFA has come in glass.

Most plastic tanks are polycarbonate and not very chemical resistant. This is why juices can destroy them.

The plastic bottles used for packaging flavors are polyethylene or hdpe. These are very chemical resistant and are used in laboratories to store some nasty chemicals. They do not leach like polycarbonate does.

Hdpe isn't used in tanks simply because it's not a stiff plastic. A tank wouldn't do much good if you bumped it and the plastic bent. Juice would be everywhere when the seal was busted.

The tank cracker juices do react with most plastics, but not all plastics. The TFA 4 OUNCE bottles are a non-reactive plastic. The smaller sizes are glass bottles. The tank cracker juices will react with most atomizer tank plastics and most disposable plastic syringes, in a very negative way. Just for tests, I placed a reactive juice, like the ones mentioned above into a plastic tank and left it over night. Tank was empty in the morning. Counter was "flooded" with juice. So, not only will they react with plastic, but they will crack and literally eat right through the plastic. Part of the reaction and cloudiness is chemical reaction, part may be plastic dissolving. I think both are happening with these reactive juices. I use metal tanks with mine and glass mixing on the reactive juices, and have no problems, other than a severe ulcer.....NOT! :p :toast: :D

Bill's Magic Vapor, would it be too forward if I told you I love you?

I just mixed up your basic custard with about 11% blueberry and your chocolate custard. My oh my oh my oh my!

I loaded the blueberry in my BRAND SPANKIN' NEW Subtank Nano, and it's divine! The chocolate is in my trusty PT2. I ordered more flavors last night (to complement your recommended starter list and to be able to FINALLY make Jo's Peach Cobbler.)

SO excited :D

......... The TFA 4 OUNCE bottles are a non-reactive plastic. .....

Hmmm..So this means my 4 oz bottles are fine as is? How long have you stored them that way without ill effect?

I was thinking that any stored longer than a month or so might have to be transferred to glass. Am I wrong? (hope so ;) )

Thanks for the input!

TFA uses a different bottle for the tank crackers versus the non-tank crackers on their 4 ounce bottles. With reactive juicing flavors, the 4 ounce bottle is a different plastic and noticeably different in appearance. :toast:

Which weighs more, a pound of feathers or a pound of gold?

How can I stand behind you, and you stand behind me, at the same time?

Which would you rather have, a trunk full of nickels, or half a trunk full of dimes?
Anything like 6 of one half a dozen of the other?

I have a few tfa flavors almost 2 years old that are still good as new. Store them in a box in my room. I used to use jalapeño in small doses, like .1% to add a good throat hit way back when high powered mods kicked a massive 10 watts

I received my bulk apothecary vg / and pg order. Man those are some high quality all natural least costly orders. Love that sight thanks Bill. Price per ml is less than 3 cents

Switching to bulk apothecary for PG/VG was the most important change to my DIY experience. It brought my cost per ml way, way, down.

They have, IMO, the purest tasting PG/VG that I have came across as well. I actually enjoy vaping unflavored from time to time now, at 65% VG it just has a nice sweetness to it.
