Has anyone had a problem with tfa ripe banana. For the past few years I have been using this flavoring for my adv but only in 30 and 50 ml batches. I recently purchased the supplies I needed to make 250 ml batches. The problem I have ran into is that the banana is separating. I have shook it every day for a good 10 minutes and also have tried a hot water bath with no luck.

I have contacted the vendor and they were no help. They said that this is a common problem with this and other flavoring. They also said I should just keep shacking it.

Since somebody came along and said theirs is clear, I would call the vendor back and say that. And let them know again that you are VERY familiar with this flavoring, since you have been using it for years.

Then, you know, that's what the Negative Feedback for Vendors on ECF is for.

I expect to be treated right.......they need to fix this.

you can use Stevia. The kind from health food store doesn't have additives?

Ummm. I can't drink diet sodas. My waistline says try ha. The artificial sweetners have that unbearable aftertaste to me.
(even the EM/cotton candy and TFA sweetner have it)
Not sure I have had Stevia though.

Capthook,be careful with that Acetyl Pyrazine, alot of people have said that if you get to high of a % on it,that it will go from nutty to burnt corn chips haha.

I got a used reo from somebody who vaped that in high %.....the smell was literally almost impossible to get out of the tube and reo. It took me quite a number of cleanings and airings, so yeah, go easy on that one.

The USPS doesn't have to turn a profit, doesn't rely on loyal customer returns, doesn't care if competition beats them, has unlimited tax payer funding and the best benefits on the planet, even if they don't "produce".
What motivation do they have to improve their shipping system? None.

THey don't *produce*? They handle 158,384,000,000 (yes, that's 200 billion) pieces of mail in 2013 alone. And they do it cheaply. Since the 1700's. :)

Please, explain to me how the competiton does it cheaper?

Did you hear this meme on the radio or something, or have you actually done your research? You are right, they don't turn a profit.....they're not allowed.

And you should be careful posting inaccurate information.......USPS does NOT receive taxpayer money......"The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations."

Be careful what you wish for.......I personally think mail should cost the same as FedEx and UPS........but then you'd be complaining about that.

I'd love to see a private company handle what they handle..........and do it cheaply, and mostly get it right. I've mailed things for 50 years and had about 5-8 things get lost.......that's it.

People say stuff like this and have never visited various sectional centers, never visitied the jet fleets, never visited the whole operation and AFAIC, there's not a whole lot that can be improved when dealing with 200 billion pieces of mail (esp. the way senders send things, you wouldn't believe it.)

I think USPS does an AWESOME job.

I hope a corporation takes it over and then a stamp will cost $2.00 instead of $0.45. :)

The flavoring itself is clear as well. It seperating after I make my e liquid.

I haven't paid that much attention to it after I've mixed it but I just checked my Banana Pudding and it's a little cloudy. The TFA website has this:

Ripe Banana Flavor

Partially water soluble - this flavor is not as water soluble as our other flavors.

Hope it helps.

Same eliquid you were making before? Does you flavoring come in original manufacturer bottles.. or is it re-poured into different bottles by your vendor? I'm trying to think of why this might be happening. Do you think it's temperature related?

Stevia really IS all natural. However, it does have a bit of a bitter twinge to it AFAIC. If you don't want to use splenda then I really don't know what else there is. :(

But unfortunately they do operate at a loss in the billions$$.
But it's a tough time for them.
Email, on-line bill pay, UPS/FedEx, etc.
I mean I send an actual letter maybe once a year. Everything else online.
And the USPS is required to service all routes all the time, all while they see volume/revenue reductions.
They really deserve a tax-payer subsidy at $0.45 a stamp.

+1 on the talk about sweeteners.

I do wish we could just make some sweetener out of sugar and PG or something, haha. After a couple of mixes with it I have come to the conclusion that I just don't care for sucralose (what TFA Sweetener is). Never did like artificial sweeteners in food or beverages either.

I've been doing a little experimenting with one recipe that calls for Sweetener, trying to see if I can add a couple flavorings in that will sweeten the mix without having to add Sweetener. I've made some progress but still have work to do on it.

It's a shame, the whole thing with adding sweetness to liquids. I was reading back when my wife and I started vaping how folks were talking about avoiding really sweet juices just to avoid gunking up their cartos/coils. Alas, now that I'm doing DIY, I see the dilemna face to face. Sometimes you need to add something to sweeten a juice but we don't seem to have many options.

I've been trying brown sugar and honey. Some results, but my newbish hasn't worked it out yet.

Has anyone ever made the base for a flavor and then increased base percentage for higher flavor kick? Like dragons blood is 30% base and then blending it with nic and vg at say 35% base to increase flavor
Yes, I do this. It keeps the flavor ratio the same abd just ups the flavor a bit.

I normally only boost the flavor content by a couple of percentage points.

I go up a little further if I'm mixing for my dual-coil dripper. Apparently the liquids need more flavor at higher wattages...

My order from ECX shipped today, so now I have to wait breathlessly for the USPS to do their job, while I yearn for that Flamingo. :D Oh, and right after I got the shipping notice, they replied to my inquiry that Lorann CCI is being restocked TODAY. Guess I'll browse some more on their site, see if anything else jumps out at me. I hate ordering just one thing, what a waste of postage.
