Robert, I am not going to hijack this thread, but I extract tobaccos for flavoring to make juice. I you are interested in how I do it any time, feel free to PM (oops, converse) me.

I figured I could get rid of the alc easy with vacuum?
Not sure, the people i have seen use alchohol just evaporate it either with heat,or just letting it sit with the lid off.Sounds like you may be overthinking the whole process though.I do it 2 ways.1)Put tobacco in a jar, cover with pg,put a lid on and let it sit 4-8 weeks, test a small sample after 4 weeks,if it needs more time, give it more time.2nd way starts just like the first, but instead of leaving it sit,i put the jar in a crock pot set on low,and let it "cook" around 40-48 hours, take it out,let it sit overnight, and strain it through some type of filter,i use cheesecloth, then cotton in a syringe. That's all there really is to it,but like i said,i don't use alchohol,as mine come out great without it, so i can't speak much on that part.

Hi there - I received my scales today and tried out that little experiment I said I would. 1ml of my VG weighed in at 1.25grms. ! ml of PG was 1.07 grms. I have not yet weighed my nicotine or my flavours though I am thinking they will weigh out much like the PG since they are both PG based but I will check them out tomorrow because now it is getting late here. What I also wanted to say is that in the e-juice calculator under the Tools tab you will find (right at the bottom) something called Grams set. Once you have filled out your weights (leaving water at 1) and you go back to your recipe you will see that now the weight in grams has changed to give you a more accurate reading. Naturally the percentages stay the same and it still gives you the same volume (5mls, 10 mls, 30 mls or whatever) that you asked for. I haven't had the time to mix a recipe using weight but when i do I think it's going to me fun. :)

Haven't had a chance to try the Sweet Strawberry yet, "real life" has been most insistent lately, so that I've been running out of day before running out of things I wanted to get done. :D But tomorrow for sure, because I'm getting a bit low on my strawberry & cream, so I would need to mix some anyway -- I'll mix a small one with the sweet strawberry and see if I like it as well as the shisha -- I'm really really hoping I do! It's a good bit cheaper than the INW, and would probably solve a lot of my gunking problem.

@Robert Cromwell -- Ok, as noted in a few other posts in some other threads today -- I finally got my ducks in a row and got this made, and tasted. It's not terribly "strawberry-y" -- have you ever used more than 10% of the sweet strawberry? It's not a bad taste at all, just kinda weak -- I'm used to the POW! of the shisha strawberry, at 16%, or lately, 15.5%; 10% of the CAP sweet strawberry is just... blah.

But I know some flavors go really sideways if you use too much, which is why I'm wondering how high I could go with the CAP sweet strawberry.

10% is all I tried. Will try higher later today as I need to make up some more anyway.

Ok, thx. I went ahead and mixed up 30ml of my original recipe with the shisha strawberry, to get me thru the rest of the month. I've still got about 40ml of the shisha flavoring, so I have time to play around with the new recipe with the Capella, to really get it right.

I think that ecigexpress had the INW shisha strawberry, I almost ordered some yesterday.

Dang won't let me add it to cart! I guess not.

found it at vaperstek.org but not cheap 4.96 for 10 ml.

bullcityvapor seems to have it as well for about the same price. Everyone is just out of the cheap stuff?

Yeah, that's why I always got it at BCV; it's only 4.74 there, AND it comes in the original Inawera bottle -- both ECX and VT re-bottle. Normally I don't find any problem with the rebottling, BCV does it with TFA flavors, but once I got it from ECX and the flavor just seemed... I dunno, weaker somehow, just not quite right. So I struggled along using the 4.74/10ml from BCV, until a 100ml bottle appeared in the classies and Dinger put me onto it. That was a godsend, since to get a 100ml bottle would entail ordering it from Poland (which my husband doesn't want me to do); I'd have to pay that EU VAT, which is a ripoff since I don't live in the EU. So, really hoping I can find a way to use this Capella that will please me as much as the shisha does.

Have you talked/written to Inawera about it? Since you are not an EU citizen you are not supposed to pay VAT. I know Inawera quotes its prices as "inclusive of tax", but other suppliers such as Molin Shop (also in Poland) quote prices with and w/out tax, as do other outlets in the UK where I shop from. If you bought the items personally (as a tourist) in most EU countries you can fill a form at the airport and the VAT paid would be sent back to you as cash ....at some point. :) So if I were you I would try to sort it out with Inawera, unless you have already tried.
