I would think that all it would take is a simple disclaimer like several of the flavoring manufacturers already use. Something along the lines of "Our products are intended for food and beverage use. Our products are neither recommended, nor warranted for any other purpose." This isn't saying anything untrue, or that hasn't been said before, and gives them plausible deniability.
Feel free to share if you have contacts there . Name and slogan are free (but free product is always gratefully accepted!).
So.
Vanilla custard by itself? Not a fan. Mixed up a batch of 85% VG, 3mg nic with 5%, and it was too strong for me. Any recommendations on how to use this flavor? I'm thinking to drop it to 2-3% and add in 1-2% of marshmallow, Bavarian creme, dairy, or something like that.

I usually use vanilla custard as an accent flavor for recipes. Almost none of the flavors are good by themselves. It usually takes anywhere from 4-8 flavors to make a good recipe. Are you trying to make a liquid with custard as the main flavor?

I haven't tried the TFA Cheesecake flavors, myself. For me, I go with the theory, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
I use the cheesecake graham crust in the strawberry cheesecake and like it. I've only tried that one and the Cap NY cheesecake.
So, Berry Crunch is now Berry Cereal. I mention this because I was going to talk about the flavor and didn't want to confuse anyone.
Berry Cereal has long been a fav of mine, mixed with a bit of sweet cream and dulce de Leche it is just so darn tasty. Thing is, when I first started mixing with it, I saw a recipe calling for 15% Berry Crunch as a stand alone flavor. At the time I thought, why not? Mixed some up, tasted great, been using it like that for a year and a half.
Couple of weeks ago I was reading how some folks thought Berry Crunch was crazy strong, they could not see using it above 5%. I thought, what? You gotta be kidding me. That can't be right, I'm usually the one calling for less flavoring, not more. Well, I mixed up a batch at 5% to test it and, sure enough, that's all it needs. Combine with 2% Sweet Cream and 1% dulce de Leche for a very nice vape.
I bring this up because someone else may benefit from my mistake. (I am certainly not trying to knock the HFM method, that is a proven method and works for a great many people who get excellent results.) I never bothered testing the flavor when I first got it, just dove in and thought I got lucky.

TFA Cheesecake is very cheesy. I would recommend that if you are using it, mix it with some of their "Cheesecake (Graham Cracker)."

I'm about to loose my MIND! I can not vape any of the previous flavors now! I have recently gone back to squonking - bottom feeders - dripping. All of my juices were formulated to be great in my various tanks - Kayfuns/SQuapes. 10mg to 12mg nic...I never did mind about the little things such as exact/precise/decimal point/gram weight...a dash of this a sprinkle of that - all was good. And I mean I made GOOD juice!
So, I figure sure...I need to cut the nic - so I did - down to 4mg (or there abouts). I did not readjust the flavoring though.
Now - My juice is HORRIBLE in my dripper. What the heck! throat burning - flavor overpowering. Do I need to start all over again?? rethink/rewind/redo every recipe to adjust for a dripper? I have GOT to be doing something wrong...
I am vaping at around .8ohm (I have mech bottom feeders) because I like the heat. Small chamber atty (no idea why that would matter). Same KDG/ReadyxWick setup for wicking so no change there...
When I was using BF'ers before - I vaped mainly max VG premade liquid. I do not want to go back to that...
I'm exhausted and defeated.

I have read that sometimes the % needs to adjusted to .25% lower than tank versions for the lower level nic used on drippers and/or higher heat and tc. What if you took one of your favorite ejuices that you already have made up,(the ones you dearly love) pour just a little in another bottle and just put some pg or vg in to start for taste test. You would be lowering the nic% at the same time.

Sorry to hear that. I have a few questions trying to understand where the problem might be.
What nicotine solution are you using? (what strength and base?)
Did you make the jump from 10mg/12mg straight to 4(ish)mg.? Or did you go down in increments?
What did you replace the missing volume (from using less nicotine solution) with?

I had that same issue when i switched to sqounking.Especially if you are using the high flavor method,definitely cut your flavor back.The first time i tried a bottom feeder,i used a juice that was 25% flavor and it was absolutely disgusting,even though i had been using that same juice for a few months in a tank.I mixed up a small amount of unflavored base in my same nic strength,and cut the juice by 1/2,and it tasted fine at the lower %.You may have to play around with how much you cut it,but i can bet that is what your problem is,rda's enhance the flavor quite a bit more than tanks do,so it is easy for them to make the flavor overpowering very quickly.
