I'm going to blame coconut for the silence.

I made some more of the French vanilla crème and biscuit mix I tried the other day. I had initially tried it in an Achilles dripper and really liked it. Last night I made a little more and loaded some in a crown tank. It's not bad in the crown tank but much better in the dripper.

Never found a good coconut store bought juice. But my ADV has always been BANANA! Don't know why, never get tired of that flavor. Since I'm about to jump into DIY, thought I'd ask if anyone has a good, simple recipe, so I can figure out what brands and types of flavors to order? I'm going to try to get my final juice to be about 75% VG, 25% PG, 9 mg NIC. I've got the base covered. I'd like to create a Banana Cream Pie type. Smooth and NOT candy like.

I've probably tried over 15 banana flavored juices, with only a few being good to my taste, and at approximately $20 for 30ml bottles, it's time I tried to make my own. Thanks!

I have found banana can be a good base to work from.
I made a banana cream last week and while it tasted ok, it was a little on the bland side. So, I took some ripe banana and started to add until I got the flavor boost it needed. It didn't take much, as I was only adding drops(my bad) so I figured I used around 15 drops in a 30 ml finished bottle. I equate that to around .5ml.
I am finding that a lot of flavors are like that, you need to add two types of same flavors to achieve what tastes good. ie. Strawberry plus ripe strawberry. I didn't get much of a peanut taste when using dx-peanut butter on its own, so I added fw peanut butter and not only got good flavoring but also it added layer of depth to the ejuice.

I'm kinda kicking myself for picking up a bunch of flavors when switching to DIY.

Seems my go to recipe is nic, VG, and a touch of PG. For me, VG is nice enough on its own that it doesn't need much else.

    BOOM!
There may come a time when your taste will change. I know for years I only vaped certain flavors, ie. bubble gum, banana, spearmint, etc. All stand alone flavors and I was quite happy. Then I noticed nothing was really hitting the mark anymore, so I started to experiment with desserts and trying more blended type of flavors.
Now that we can taste again, it is so easy to keep interested in vaping. Unlike smoking cause we couldn't really taste the nasty thing anyway. LOL

Maybe some one can help me with a recipe?

    I have,

    TFA - Strawberry
    TFA - Ripe Strawberry

    TFA - Malted Milk
TFA - Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
    TFA - Cheesecake [Graham Crust]
    TFA - Sweetener
    TFA - Whipped Cream
    TFA - Bavarian Cream

    Flavor West - Milk
    Capella - Sweet Strawberry

I am looking for a Strawberry Milk/Milkshake recipe.
I tried one that is in the eJuice me up Calculator. And I was just wondering if anyone else had any.

    Thanks!:)

My son's adv for the last 6 months has been Tfa banana cream.I mix his 80vg/20pg,but 75/25 would work fine too.It couldn't be easier to make his juice,10% banana cream, some pg and vg,a little nic and he's happy haha.

Some friends love the NannerBerry I make for them. Recipe is easy-peasy:

    TFA Strawberry Ripe - 9%
    TFA Banana Cream - 6%
    TFA Cotton Candy - 2%

For my own NannerBerry...I like to also add about .5-1% of the plain TFA Strawberry to it. The 2 Strawberries together make just a slightly different version.

There's a Banana Cream Pie recipe that ECF member Capt.shay posted in a thread before. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to. It's all TFA flavorings as well:

    9% - Banana
    7% - Cheesecake Graham
    5% - Bavarian Cream

Maybe some one can help me with a recipe?

These aren't recipes for Strawberry Milk/Milkshake, but...might work for you for something similar:

From another ECF member (forgot to grab name when I copied it) - recipe for Strawberries & Cream:

    TFA Strawberry 6%
    TFA Strawberry ripe 2%
    TFA Van Bean Ice-cream 8%

Or...here's one of Bill's for Lite Strawberry Cheesecake, that maybe could be tweaked to be similar to what you want. They're all TFA flavorings:

    Cheesecake - 12%
DX Graham Cracker - 3% (Replace with your FW Milk?)
Circus Cotton Candy - 6% (Use sweetener instead?)
    Strawberry - 3%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 2%

I'd just play around with some sample sized mixes (3-5mL)...with those flavorings at various different % and see what you come up with.

@Mactavish - A couple comments. With TFA Coconut @1 % I get very authentic coconut. You can taste the very flesh of the coconut, and it's not too sweet. For even more coconut, go up from there. TFA's Banana's work very well together. You can usually mix in a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio Banana Cream:Ripe Banana for excellent flavor. Ripe Banana is very potent, and too much will totally kill the banana.

Hmmmm, flavors. Mine are 90% TFA, with a smattering of others. Inawera's Shisha Strawberry and Biscuit, and maybe a dozen from FA. With TFA you usually use more flavoring than others like Inawera and FA. This allows/causes us to make High Flavor Mixes, in the 20-30% range of flavorings. Then add nic, PG&VG. Due to that, I now use 100mg VG nic (which needs to be shaken alot) to try and hit 75/25 like you.

Just like how you and Russ are our Tensioned Coil Masters, "@Bill's Magic Vapor" is our mixmaster/guru. I'd suggest you read all his blog entries, especially his 100DT method. One final thought, buy a scale, mix by weight, make life much easier on yourself with more consistency and less cleanup time. This is a super helpful group.

Somewhere in this thread is Andria's recipe for strawberries and crème. She uses the inawera shisha strawberry. I tried mixing the regular tfa strawberry and ripe strawberry for the cheesecake recipe and didn't much care for it. I like that recipe with just the ripe strawberry.
