I mixed this up, I believe it's one of Bill's called Turtle.

    Turtle
    6% Bavarian Cream (TPA)
    1% Coconut (TPA)
    1% Marshmallow (TPA)
    7% Peach (Juicy) (TPA)

At that 1% I could clearly taste the coconut perfectly, not overpowering to ME, just a delicious fresh Coconut.

I have all those except Peach, starting a list of flavors for my next order.

While we're in the subject of other vendors, can I ask what is in y'all opinion the strongest coconut?

I've tried Flavor art and TPA and they're both not strong enough for my castle long recipe
Which TFA coconut did you try? They make 4: Coconut, Coconut Extra, Coconut Candy, and DX coconut Candy. Also; do you by chance remember what percentages you were using?

I made up my first batch of DX Coconut a few days ago and tried it out tonight. Always wanted to do coconut but I stay away from DK's and the DX is the first one without them. I made it at 5% with nothing else added. It's only been sitting for a few days so it might change. It does taste of coconut. Not super strong but quite pleasant. TFA flavors tend not to be very good alone. I'll look for some recipes and try mixing it with other stuff.

Also vaped some Gingerbread Extra Ginger yesterday. Very strong spicy Ginger, couldn't detect any bread in there. I'm guessing some Sweet Cream and Graham Cracker will improve it. Might even have to lower the % of Gingerbread, I made the first batch at 5%. I'm looking forward to experimenting, I love ginger.

I have searched high and low for a castle long recipe or a gentlemen's reserve recipe (both are similar/same juices and flavor profiles).

I have vape literally thousands of MLS of those juices, and consider it the best ejuice ever (yeah seriously). I have never found a recipe that taste the same. I've made some that were decent Vapes in and of themselves. But nothing like the original(s).

Does anyone happen to have a castle long clone recipe?

I found the DX Coconut has similar results for me. I found it to be a good alternative for TFA's regular Coconut and that I could sub the DX for it on a 1:1 ratio.
I am also in agreement with you that TFA doesn't normally work for single flavor mixes for me either. Each flavor's profile is pretty narrow (one note-y) which doesn't usually work well as a stand alone. But it is nice in that it lets you fine tune a recipe by adding multiple flavors without adding a bunch of extra notes you weren't looking for.
Though, I do have to say that I like TFA's Lemon (water soluble) at 8% solo, when my mouth isn't sure about what it wants to vape, or if I have just come in from yard work. It's a great palette cleanser. :D

When I was searching for a different clone I found this foreign site, there is a translate button on the bottom of the page, but it's not all that necessary. "PA" is listed on the flavors, so you may have to substitute, I don't know what brand PA is. Anyways you may have already seen this but I thought I'd post it anyway. Not something I'm ready to try right now, as I am intent on creating my own ADV Vape, I'm going to call it "3B's - Bobs Banana Butter", and once I get close I'll share it here, for help and opinions.

Here is a Castle Long clone:

Five Pawns Castle long - Le DIY pour les Nuls

Let me know if you've seen it, or tried it? Good luck!

Pa is the same as Tfa.Pa stands for perfumers apprentice which is the same company as the flavor apprentice, just different categories in the same company, but outside the U.S. it is usually referred to as PA or TPA.

I know. A couple CAP flavors in there :|
I think that's why this thread keeps dying. It's not easy to keep from using several brands to get a recipe where you want it. I think it's ok if 1 or 2 show up in a recipe.

Since I recently got into DIY, my first order was all TFA flavors. Down the road, I'll try other brands, for now I'll just substitute if possible.

That sounds like a good one.I'll have to pick up a few of those flavors, but i have seen the same ones i'm missing in a few other recipes too,so it will give me the chance to try several others too_On the vanilla custard,it doesn't say,is that Tfa or Capella?I have both of those, but just want to make sure i use the right one haha.

Well I only made a 120 ml bottle of Tribeca clone, I gave a 30 ml away, I'm almost out. Pretty good stuff....and easy.
I mean out... maybe 2-3 ml left in the bottle and a couple ml in the tank...
I used to let mine run really low like that because i was afraid i would get tired of it and end up with a whole bottle that i didn't want to use anymore, but now,i make a 120ml,and when it gets down to 30ml,i transfer that to a 30ml bottle, then make a new 120ml,that way it has a few days to blend and steep before i get into that one.

I've got all those for the Snickerdoodle. Hopefully @Simply Red will chime in. The way I'm reading it, the one's that don't say CAP (boo and hiss) are all TFA. And, even though it's a TFA thread, even Bill himself had a few non TFA on his starting/approved/blessed list of flavors. About 30% of mine are not TFA.
