I use the sterile Eye drop kind.

Well...I'll need to look but that link above may be the correct one. not the eye drops.

Just make sure it's ONLY the .9 SALINE solution, as many eyedrop products contain other ingredients, as SLOTS has already posted!

Personally, I was not able to tell any difference, and am currently trying to exclude any additional ingredients in my recipes, getting back to basics here, but have fun, SAFELY!

What I use:
In the First Aid section of the pharmacy, pick up some .9% Saline (Wound Wash/Flush).
It's used to clean out open wounds .. safe for a baby.
It's pure sterile water with .9% saline solution, and comes in a spray can.
It comes out of the can in a stream that is easy to direct into a dripper bottle.

I add about 1 drop per 2ml. to my juice.
It brings out the flavor (just like salt does in cooking), ... it smooth's out the harshness (maybe the bitterness you pick up on), .. and blends the flavors together.
It works especially good with fruits and chocolates.
You will not taste any salt, as it's super mild.
It will "brighten" the flavor of the fruit, but I find it doesn't help banana [emoji14]

There is also a saline solution you spray/inhale up your nose ..but that's the wrong one.
It has added ingredients.

You want the one without anything in it except the .09 saline and sterile water, that is used to clean wounds.
Have fun experimenting.
is there any impact on TC/resistance reading after adding saline?

Never noticed.
I don't use it unless I want to brighten up a fruit, bring out the chocolate and take the bite out of a juice ... which equates to "seldom".
I don't automatically add it. I wait until I've tasted the juice, and notice it needs a little help.
I also only use a drop or so per 2ml
You won't taste the saline, even from a drop on your finger. But when you need it, you've got it.
It's easier to try fixing a juice than dumping it.
It does change the PH of the juice, and that can be all it takes to go from bad to good sometimes.... or even good to better.
PS, don't try making your own saline .. it's not the same.
The "flush" is cheap, and will last for a loooong time

I did do a fruit mix a while back that was close to Agnostic Brew's tribulation. It was 4% each of honeydew, strawberry ripe, and juicy peach.
This turned out great! Never had the original, but really enjoy your recipe. Thanks!

@b.m. What would you say the average steep time is for RF? I'm hearing 3 weeks. Also that their Bread Pudding is to die for.

Depends on the flavor and the base. In general their VG flavors need a month+ and their extracts require less, but some of their extracts need longer. I just got 24 new extracts in to start playing with from their 50% off flash black friday sale and I am excited for mixing again.

I use the sterile Eye drop kind.

I bought a big bottle of wound wash from rite aid to use for the CN PB Cereal that Charlie posted. It was my first/only time using it and that recipe was great. The 30ml I sprayed out of the container will likely last me a life time and I have plenty left for it's intended purpose. Now I need to remember to bring it into caramel, peanut butter, etc type recipes where it might help round out the flavors.

    Somewhere between here and there
I've gotten rather lazy with mixing. I have been using the same three or four recipes for some time now. I do want to try the salted caramel that someone mentioned but will have to try to remember it for later since there's nothing else I need right now.

    10% Honeydew
    5% Vanilla Bean Gelato
    5% Sweet Cream
    2% Sweetener

Vanilla Bean Ice Cream can be used instead of Vanilla Bean Gelato for a fuller, richer taste.

My personal favorite and adv for a long time now. I vape enough of this that I make flavor-only bottles 120ml at a time

I will have to sub the TFA sweet cream for caps sweet cream and instead of the gelato I will put in vanilla swirl.

I believe it is this one that I have made and enjoyed:

    Peanut Brittle
    6.00% Peanut Butter DX (TFA)
    6.00% RY4 Double (TFA)
    0.25% Liquid Stevia (Pyure)
    Peanut Brittle by dwcraig1 ECF

edit to add: If I make it again I will replace pyure with saline
Have you tried it with caps peanut butter?

I had picked up some of this also but have yet to use it. How much are you using in your recipes?

I went to mix up another 500 ml bottle of Peanut Brittle

Hmmmm, was this originally yours? I'm ready to mix up #2, after making some slight changes to your original. Added a touch of Vanilla and Brown Sugar. and it's solidly in rotation.

The honeydew will tone down if you have the original (it has a nice hit because of the alcohol in it). I haven't tried it with honeydew ii.

As far as replacing the flavor with another, I've tried it but it's really all to taste and different primary flavors can differ in percentages. The creams/sweeteners in this make a good base though. :)
