Perhaps treat it as some treat other ultra-strong/potent concentrates and try taking a small amount and dilute it with PG or VG (say 10%) and use that as your concentrate? Then adding a 0.1% quantity, or lower, is doable, and repeatable. Just a thought. I neither have, nor have used, Black Fire. :)

I took a look again and it said to use 1 drop per 10ml to add a smoky hint.
For me, if a "smokey" hint is all you want, that may work.
Personally, I vape it solo at 3%, and I'm not into a strong or heavy tobacco taste.
Have to admit the bottle is a few years old, but none of my flavors have faded, because they are stored in the dark etc etc.
Try it at 1%, and go from there ... I also mix, and wait a good 4 - 6 weeks before vaping.
Tobacco's require a long steep for the flavor to "mature", and mellow out.
    Enjoy, it's good

I added 1% butter to the blueberry pancake recipe I started making like someone mentioned a few days ago. I'm not sure if I really like it or not. The butter flavor is noticeable but I almost like it better without.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone in this thread for helping me dive into DIY! I have mixed my very first single flavoring today, Blue Raspberry Slush at 10%. I have so many other flavors to try thanks to everyone but for now I will test the waters with this one.

Keep the recipes coming because I am developing a new list to order. O my, this can be so addicting trying stuff out. I think I am saving money by doing this.....maybe NOT???

Yup ... your saving a lot even if you give half of them away because you don't like them (like me)
Trying each one solo in a 2-3ml test tells you if you like it, how strong it is, and what it will contribute to a recipe.
Compared to how many bottles of juice you can make from one bottle of flavoring, you make up for the loss.
Once you've tried them all, and know which ones you like, you've got it made (so to speak)
It is a pain in the ... to try the same flavor from various company's to find the best, but it's worth it :p
BTW, I think I have more TFA flavorings than any other company, but each company has the best of a "certain" flavor, and you just have to find it.

I haven't had either one of those flavors but have had an energy drink liquid from a vendor. I would almost think that energy drink would almost have to be a single flavor recipe with maybe some EM if it needed it but would try it without first.

Hey guys and gals. I got a 15 ml bottle of Papaya and another bottle of Energy drink that were sent as a gift with an order. What the heck do I do with those? Anybody tried them? Any interesting recipes?

I never used a Papaya flavor but what comes to mind is a tropical smoothie blend. You could most likely google some smoothie recipes as a good starting point. I'm thinking for the tropical fruits adding a mix of Banana Cream, Papaya, 1 or 2 strawberries, and of course a little coconut. Maybe for the "smoothie" portion a combination of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Vanilla Swirl and cream. Good luck!

I made a test batch with the marzipan flavor I got recently. I can't quite place the fruit but it tastes like a slightly tart fruit with a little almond in the background. It's a pleasant flavor and could be used as a single flavor mix.
