Somewhere on top of the world
Can anyone speak from experience on the TFA absinthe as well? Flavor notes? Rating?

I just mixed a 50/50 15mg mix of absinthe at 8% and it's intense. Actually made me a bit dizzy for a minute. Very sharp absinthe flavor, had to cut it down to 5% to pick up the real flavor notes. I really like it but it gets overpowering quickly. I think I'm going to try to use it as a background flavor to other mixes. I would recommend it if you like Absinthe as it doesn't taste fake or full of chemicals, just STRONG!! Hope this helps you.

I would second this review of the absinthe. I love it, but I like absinthe/anise flavors. I made some straight absinthe at 10 percent, and it is decently strong, but I like it that way. I do believe that the absinthe is better as a background to other flavors though. absinthe 8%, vanilla bourbon 4%, and sweet cream 2% is good. I'm thinking of adding a bit of a fruity flavor to this too. Maybe ill ditch the cream and add orange cream at 2%.

I got TFA Lemon today, have not tried it but I would like to make a lemonade... What puts the "ade" in the lemonade?

this is what found:

Ade is a suffix used to denote a beverage made from water (sometimes carbonated water), fruit juice, and sweetener. Examples of its usage are: lemonade, limeade, cherryade, and orangeade. Similar beverages that do not contain fruit juice may use the suffix “aid” in their brand name, e.g., Kool-Aid and Flavor Aid.

Thanks guys. I have been messing with different anise mixes, and I figured the absinthe would probably be even better.
