Syringes are made of polypropelene, which does not crack from those types of flavors - the plastic that is susceptible to cracking and clouding are acetate and polycarbonate.

In fact, if you can find the right diameter syringe, they make great tanks.

its the plunger it ruins not the syringe itself lol. the second it touches the rubber plunger ur syringe is toast. =P trust me i did the hot water rinse and everything i had the cup sitting right next to me didnt help the damage was already done =P

Yes, sorry for my wording! It's the syringe barrel/plunger top that is where damage occurs, here's a little bit of both when barrel meets straight Anise EO (I forgot haha). It froze, then on unfreeze attempt with water 3 minutes later it melted into oblivion:)

I0KgTxV.jpg

I use TFA Ripe Banana and TFA Cinnamon in many different forms, and I've never had a syringe damaged in any way. Also use some alcohol based flavorings.

Good to know those don't usually cause damage glassmanoak!

I need to shoot you a PM later tonight, I keep forgetting!!! (Posted this as a self reminder :))

Haha the girlfriend is in love with the Ripe Banana i had her try it just now and she just filled up her protank to the brim with it.

Ladies and Gentlemen we have a winner.

:D if u haven't tried it i would say its worth throwing in your next order :D

we never fill our tanks because we get burnt out on flavors quickly so this is a big deal =P

i personally like the option to hold a lot of juice and with the protank (basically the same as the evod) it doesnt suffer from only having a little bit of juice in it, so to me its the best of both worlds lol :D

i have a few vivi's but those suffer from not enough juice in them.

im in the minority in that i actually like the airy draw of the protank =P

Yes, you have probably found an all day vape. 10 months and I still swap flavors every 20-30 minutes. I do have my 3 protanks standing by for the day though. :D Even have a few Tanks and mechanical Mods not getting much use yet.

Maybe the banana has a high alcohol content or some thing because the plunger wont even budge now haha.

That's so funny that you guys have experienced the same thing! I didn't understand what was going on with my syringe each time I used Ripe Banana (which is great btw).

I tried the Flue Cured from Wizard. It's floral, subtly sweet, with a bit of a "fermented" thing going on that keeps those sweet notes well in check. It combines with Caramel Original really, really well for a wonderfully complex and "desert" like tobacco. It's good to go with just a few days steeping, with longer steeping brining a more authentic and strong traditional tobacco flavor up-front. I actually prefer it in it's less steeped form more than a full week 1/2 to 2 weeks. I think if you want to grab the most tobacco out of this, you should use less % and steep long. But like I said, at higher % mixed with other flavors it's good to go much quicker than other tobaccos.

You can't find it on the Perfumers website, but I contacted Linda and she told me "We only offer Flue Cured in bulk because it is a bit expensive to produce." However, if you order M-Type in larger quantities, and in the comments section of your checkout basket note "substitute Flue Cured for M-Type" you can obtain it.

My absolute favorite tobacco I've tried from TFA so far. I have yet to try the Honey Tobacco tho.

+1 on the Ripe Banana. I was surprised at how good it tasted, because upon smelling the bottle I thought it might turn out to taste like banana flavored laffy taffy candy and end up being too artificial and sweet. It's quite nice actually, especially mixed with a little Coconut Extra and Vanilla Cupcake. And don't judge me, I tried a little RB mixed in with the relatively flavorless/mediciney tasting Red Type tobacco and it seemed to make me enjoy the Red a bit more. At the very least I can finally start vaping that bottle of Red Tobacco now from time to time.

Oh and for anyone who doesn't already know.

i learned this the hard way.

DO NOT: use syringes for any flavor containing Alcohol ..... 1 and only 1ml syringe in the trash :(

gonna need a glass pipette i guess.

some alcohol flavors are fine (absinth, horehound, many others). it's the flavorings, Ripe Banana is insanity good at cleaning dry erase boards..... sweet orange (e.oil) will get any adhesive off any surface...

Cola & Cola Syrup will decimate any syringe that comes into the eye-line of the flavor...

Have you had any luck reviving syringes after using these flavors?

Glass syringes are afraid of nothing we use in diy. No rubber or plastic involved. Cost more but will not fail unless they meet a tile floor. Seen it happen not by me.I used to have bags of disposables now just 1,3,5,10ml glass.
