The Great Stock Hunt...Tracking Supplies

I found some black dse901 atts at Vaporstix.com last night and also snapped up the last two 30ml bottles of 36mg cola flavor TotallyWicked-eliquid.com (USA) had in stock (because my preferred vendor, Puresmoker, is right out of everything lately).

I'm starting to get antsy, wondering if we are approaching a crisis here - that the FDA crackdown could mean the end of companies restocking. I feel the need to lay in some supplies.

We're all feeling this way. That's why most suppliers are OOS on a lot of things. Just keep looking. A lot of suppliers have opened shop just since I've started on this forum, just about a month ago. I've put aside some unflavored 36mg so I can flavor my own and cut it if I have too.

We are a country that lives on fear. The only thing to fear is fear itself.

My $.02 cents as to why USA supplier lack stock is because they are underfunded (mostly living room mom&pop type shops) or they choose not to have the overhead expense of stock.

I have made, and will continue to make, direct purchases from China-product always arrives (7-10 days) just like clock work, until USA suppliers step up to the plate and stock beyond instant ( a day or two) demand that matches their last order.

25 attys
20 batteries
1100mls various juice
75 blank carts
200 pre filled carts
24 ounces PG


I feel good that have a good supply of consumables, along with all the ancillary stuff like bottles, syringes, cart filler etc.......

I personally lean toward there NOT being a ban, but I am finally off the analogs after 25 years so a little well placed paranoia to ensure that I have no reason to go back to them is reasonable in my opinion.

In fact, I am going out on lunch today to pick up a bigger box to store it all in.......

Elandil you really should invest in a Kensington and USB passthru. I don't see that on your suppy list. It is WONDERFUL. I don't hardly use my batts anymore. I'm either attached to the Kensington or my computer. Just a suggestion. (Besides you could do more shopping )

I now have a screwdriver that I am using almost exclusively. I started with 901's for both my wife and I. (they work well BTW) so now my wife who does not want an SD will have a large supply of batts........She's not a computer person so no need for passthroughs so far........

i have been finding it easier to just order directly from China...

my order i made on Saturday from Heaven Gifts shipped this morning .With $5 atomizers and $8 batteries and $12 shipping to the states it's a damn good deal

I've always preferred US-based suppliers because I know the goods are already in the country at that point. I have read scary stories about large orders from China (Heaven Gifts, for example) being stopped at customs for periods approaching forever.

That said, I may have to try the direct-from China approach. Do let me know when/if your latest shipment from China arrives, GG. Also, do you order liquid from China and if so has that been similarly simple?

The direct fom China appraoch works well if you alreay have some supply and time isn't a factor.

i usually order from bestecig.com and they are extremely fast. My orders usually ship the same day , and take about a week and a half to arrive at my door. The longest they have spent in customs was 2-3 days but they ALWAYS get released and yes the majority of my liquid comes from China

heaven gifts sells 30ml of juice for $9.95. Even if i have to wait 2 weeks for it , it's a MUCH better deal than spending $10.95 on 10ml of juice from US suppliers

the problem is the chinese factories.. an ever growing western demand... an ever growing group of western supplies.. all fed from a limited number of chinese factories working multiple shifts seven days a week trying to keep up..

the product quality is also dropping off due to the chinese factory overload..

stocking up simply exacerbates the situation..

i know this is a boring answer for the shortages.. but it is the main one.. and a very simple one..

your favorite western supplier has to cope with all this... as an example we have not had any amtomizer deliveries for six weeks now..

one missing chinese order means a month getting another one.. in our case one local supplier running out.. meant five weeks getting another one.. this is kind of happening randomly all over the place.. hence the search for parts..
in theory it will all sort out in the end but for now its causing problems..

those doing their best to promote the e smoking cause might do well to slow down a bit... e cigs (of any kind) dont grow on chinese trees... he he

I have a complete dresser drawer in the bedroom dedicated to my stash. since I'm usually out of town when supplies arrive, my wife just throws everything in the drawer, and I check it in when I get home.

Of course the instant I place "alien orders," Puresmoker gets stock in. So naturally I ordered liquid from Steve, too!
