Finaly got my app for carry permit in.Just told new super I was going to be late coming back from lunch. Their behind about 2 weeks. So should have it sometime in Feb.

Do you have to take a class in your state? Here in Tx, it's a 10 hour classroom with test and 50 round shooting test. Way too easy, imo, honestly.

Hear thats one of the best.

I sure think so. One came with my XD and Glock, but the Lula is just squeeze and drop a round in.

Story on my life too late.:lol:

Usually good deals are everywhere for ammo. But with Sandy Hook and the proposed AWB, ....'s just insane.

Anyone here have an M&P Shield? My ex is looking to get a handgun, and that's one that I was thinking about recommending, due to it's size. She's got tiny hands. My first recommendation, being the Glock fan that I am, would be a G26, but she's already shot one of those, and the grip is still too "fat" for her little hands.
I shot a G26 and a XD9 subcompact last weekend. The XD has a smaller grip profile but still manages to feel comfortable in my hand.

Oh, little birdy told me that PSA (Palmetto State Armory) has Blazer brass and aluminum 9mm at sane prices. Better jump.... NOW!!!
Oh sure. Post something like that 12 minutes after I leave work... yeah, they're pretty much bare.

Snap caps hard to find in quantity so bought " 2" 2 packs yea it's to teach her only, but I might put 1 in a box here and there to test my reaction!

Meeting someone tomorrow 1k rounds 350 dollars as long as the person ahead of me don't buy all 3 cases tonight I guess I need to jump on the deal..

From my phone
The link I posted was a five pack...?

I am super impressed with the ZEV Tech Glock triggers! Nicest striker fired trigger I've felt.

Nope just fill out the 1 1/2 page app show dl and 20. they do cks and get back to you.

Sounds good to me. SC wasn't too bad. Pretty much the same as shatner posted for TX. Took about 2 months to actually get my permit there, though.

I personally like Alaska's, Vermont's and Arizona's (there's 1 more that I can't think of) procedure to carry concealed; there is none. If you can legally own a pistol, you can carry it concealed. I mean, I'm all for training, and would recommend to anyone that they do it. But I don't think the government should be telling you that you HAVE to, especially when most of the required "training" is minimal at best, and doesn't mean that you're proficient, anyway. I believe I just had to get 36 out of 50 rounds into the black, at various distances, starting from 7 yards and going out to <I can't remember, but not very far>. I aced it.

Even with the no-training-required method of the states I mentioned, you still don't hear of idiots carrying and doing dumb stuff. Well, not any more than the states that do require training, anyway.

Damn, I gotta stop going off on these tangents.

Back to guns!...........

I'm jealous of you and your G30, shatner. Glock .45's are such soft shooters, it's crazy. I had a G21 and wow, it was great. Never got around to getting a G30, but it was definitely on my "want very badly" list.

I feel your pain. I have a few lefties in my family, too. Just hit 'em with facts, and they usually end up not wanting to argue or debate anymore.

This is a video I like to show people who are confused by "evil looking rifles" and have been brain washed by the media to think that they are somehow more deadly than your standard hunting rifle: The Truth about "Assault Weapons" - YouTube
