5 Diff stores no ammo for poor Sweets.Good news is hubby had a message on the machine when I got home.Got your bullets see you when I get home from the club.Didn't say what brand or how many.:lol:But at least he found some.Starting to think I should have gotten the 40.

Why should you have bought a .40? Ammo is difficult to find right now for any caliber. 9=40=45 in a handgun. There's no such thing as "stopping power". It's all about shot placement w/ a handgun.

I'd take a 9mm over a .45 over a .40 if I were limited to one or 2 guns.

Just keep your eyes open for ammo and get it when you can.

I think having to have "gun insurance" is ....ing ridiculous.

I feel your pain. I have a few lefties in my family, too. Just hit 'em with facts, and they usually end up not wanting to argue or debate anymore.

This is a video I like to show people who are confused by "evil looking rifles" and have been brain washed by the media to think that they are somehow more deadly than your standard hunting rifle: The Truth about "Assault Weapons" - YouTube

When I got in to guns, I had to deal with this from my Mother a bit. After she saw how much I loved guns and working on them, in general, she softened her stance on them.

Then I took her shooting. She loved it! Her favorite gun to shoot? AR-15 and PS-90. Who'd a' thunk it?

My sister was terrified of guns. So I took her out and let her shoot my 9mm AR and 7.62x39 AK. Nothing but ear-to-ear smiles all day. I know she won't ever go out and buy her own gun, but it still opened her eyes a bit.

Have it professionally done. Bluing is a nasty chemical process. I won't even do it. Or you could have it DuraCoated, GunKoted, etc.
