he told me that his mall unit was better then my provari....... lol, i thought that was funny
he also told me he didnt want something that looked like a dildo and didnt want to carry around a bottle that looked like it had "pee" in it. well screw him, if i doesnt want any information he is on his own to waste money on expensive and inferior products. according to him, everything sold online is junk and his mall unit is the "best". well i am done with this guy. he can have his crappy mall unit with their expensive properitary prefilled cartomizers, becuase if he cannot get past the fact that a good ecig is NOT a cigarette then he will not be succesful. maybe the only reason why he bought this unit is to appease his girlfriend who hates cigarettes, will not allot him to smoke in the house or near the baby; ect. this girl really hates his smoking.

I would calmly tell him that he knows next to nothing about PV's and explain to him about how the expensive unit he bought from the mall could be gotten online for a fraction of the price.

Just a question, why is it an issue?

When I was ready to quit I went straight to the mall, wanted it now and wanted it to look like a analog and yes I paid to much.

Good thing is that it was enough to get me to stop smoking completely (2 years next month). I found this forum and was able to get help finding alternate pieces 'n parts for my set up to keep me going. Eventually after doing alot of reading I moved up to other pv's.

What I've eventually worked up to wouldn't have suited me then (Rivas, Vmod & Darwins) but it did the trick. Be supportive and give him an opportunity to work with what he has, even if they're a little closed minded.

The answer is whatever works for you.

Let's say the ONLY products for vaping you could get were at these mall kiosks. They are still a huge value over smoking real cigarettes. And this is why the salespitch works. Most people are somewhat value conscious and that's why we see a ton of new members reporting being ripped off at the mall.

I don't really blame this dude for getting annoyed though. I like cig or cigar shaped ecigs myself. They're handy. And a Provari specifically is overkill for me personally. I just want to vape. Not have a gadget. Maybe he thinks the same. Granted, he could do better than a mall cig, but it doesn't mean that answer is Provari.

Every person I have ever spoken with selling electronic cigarettes in a mall thought their product was the best there is.
And that is because the owner of the kiosk tells them that it is the best product there is.

The last mall kiosk I went to the highest nicotine strength they had was 12mg.
I was trying to tell the girl that they needed to at least carry some 18mg if they wanted the product to work.

She proceeded to try and convince me that 18mg was too much and nobody would need that much.
How did she know that? Because the owner told her, and the owner knows everything.

Well, I told her that the owner was full of crap, so she called him and had me talk to him.

Now I have this guy on the phone telling me that 12mg may not be enough if you are using an inferior product.
But he insisted that 12mg was more than enough if you were using HIS product because...

Are you ready for it?

The answer to the guy at work is if his got him off cigarettes it's great.

But this is a very new industry and the technology is changing very, very rapidly. If, at some point, he wants something that will last longer between charges or he wants to taste other liquids (other than tobacco flavor), you'll be glad to show him where to get info.

Today, for someone who feels like he does, I'd suggest a box mod or a 900mAh eGo with a cartomizer (so he wouldn't have to use his bottle of pee very often.) By the time he's ready to move on, there will probably be a bunch of new products we haven't even thought of yet.

The local outlet mall here has an ecig kiosk. While I was researching I stopped there. The clerk didn't even know model numbers or what not of the product. Kind of glad I didn't ask for the price. I think that a good vape meet idea in areas that have these stores would be to go sit on the benches near by and while not "causing a scene" at least puff away making good vapor etc etc.
