Omg is right, lol! But you guys are right, totally healthy and necessary, haha!

On a more health nut topic, I am trying to give up soda. Totally addicted my whole life, and thought I could never give it up. But I thought that about my beloved smokes as well, and we all know how that turned out!

So here I am day two. Replacing the soda with water. Happened to have a couple lemons, so I'm adding lemon juice to each bottle today. Drinking a lot of coffee to keep away the caffeine headaches, but will cut down a bit after a few days.

I have been pretty sedentary, so I'm gonna try some stretching and walking to get started.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

I know you won't believe me but I don't even miss soda. I gave it up a couple of years ago (maybe 3?). I do have a Pepsi as an occasional treat but right now I really can't recall the last time I bought one.

Good luck getting started on the exercise. Getting yourself out the door is often the hardest part. Keep us posted on your progress.:)

Edit: I do drink 2 mugs of coffee every morning, the rest of the day is water.

Yay! Nice to look forward to something is not vape mail related, huh? :D

Goal: FINISH Mother-in-law's pool deck. Still no elliptical today.

Weight: 1 3 4 . 4 !!

Oh, yesterday I actually got into my junk jeans. The ones with all the holes and stains. I wore wear them for doing painting and weeding so I wouldn't ruin other clothes. That felt damn good! :D

"I like my chicken fried
cold beer on Friday night
a pair of jeans that fit just right
and the radio on"

Zack Brown Band

Ain't nothing like that feeling Robin

And ain't that the truth!! Well worn and loved, fit like a glove.

Edit: That song is "Chicken Fried" :w00t:

Edit#2: I almost threw those jeans out because I didn't think I would be able to get into them again. I'm glad I didn't ;)

Yeah, I loved my chicken fried, but I don't eat it that way anymore, and cold beer is mostly out now too. Course, that's among the reasons why the jeans fit just right these days, so I don't complain. :)

I haven't had fried chicken in years. My former MIL used to make the best fried chicken in her iron skillet. I could never get mine to taste that good and I could duplicate most of her cooking. That one eluded me for some reason. Probably a good thing or I would have made it more.

I eat fried chicken breasts...but I take the skin off first and dab any grease if any with a napkin. I don't eat it often though.

I'm excited about my lifestyle change and weight loss and future today. I'm feeling stronger and toner and healthier each day. Was walking around in a sports bra last night and realized I still have problem areas with fat. I'll be working on those. I have a new goal of losing another ten pounds (my second goal) but I realize muscle weighs more than fat and I'm building muscle now. We'll see. The scales won't help me as much as a mirror at this point. I do have some loose skin after my 66 pound weight loss but it's not too bad. I read that if you get rid of all the "fluffy" fat (the last fat to leave) and build muscle it will help to get rid of it. I'm a work in progress...........I actually can't wait to get on the treadmill tonight. We are thinking about walking at lunch today but the cold weather may keep us indoors today.

True DAT!

I have gained three pounds since November, but it worries me not because I can see it is in the right places.
