I've lost 2 inches in the waist since the last time I showed any weight loss, so no, the scale doesn't tell the whole story.
Dang! I'll bet the chicks are pinching yourass?

I haven't had fried chicken in years. My former MIL used to make the best fried chicken in her iron skillet. I could never get mine to taste that good and I could duplicate most of her cooking. That one eluded me for some reason. Probably a good thing or I would have made it more.
did you have the cast iron pan so well seasoned that it made teflon cry?
Probably part of the problem... .I don't own a cast iron skillet LOL

Hah! So true story. The wife and I were at were at our favorite night spot a week or so ago and I had gone to the bar to get her a drink. I pulled a five dollar bill out of my pocket to pay for it and dropped it, so I bent over and picked it up. As I straightened back up someone behind me squeezed my arm. I turned around and there was this pretty young lady standing there (and right there on her arm was a very broad young man). She laughed and held up her thumb and forefinger close together and said, "I just almost pinched you on your ...!".
I smiled and bowed and scurried off. Cute young girls don't scare me much but their boyfriends make me nervous.![]()
That was so sweet, thanks RJYay...always is here!!! (hug)
When I was reading your story, it reminded me of an article I read a few weeks ago. Let me see if I can go find it. It's about people who are dying and their #1 regret in life. Most of them said their #1 regret in life was hating their bodies. Not anything to do with travel, or children, or careers...nope. Their reasoning was that they knew they would one day soon not have a body. That article really helped me see a new perspective.
Hang in there!
Here it is...
