The "Hungwell"??? WTF are you kidding me?

I can see how that ("OK, this thing is ridiculous") could be taken different ways. Obviously we know how it came across to you, at least at first.
I believe however the intent was to express a sentiment meaning something more along the lines of wow that thing is really big, huge, king sized, massive, able to be used for self defense even!
If you read PAST the first line, the very next things said are humorus in nature:
1) The name. Hungwell. Really?
<-- a smiley, not the sarcastic smiley.2) ZOMFG is that thing HUUUUGE <-- it is BIG!
3) Hungwell? Really? <-- Admit it, it's a humorous name!
Kinda cool in concept though, switch voltage on the fly, RCA adapter for attys, but jeeez <-- (but jeez) refering to wow it's so BIG!
I try to read an entire post as a whole to get a feel for the original intent, as we can't hear the inflections in typed words it is easy to be misunderstood on a forum like this.
It also explains why I am often SO wordy as I try to avoid misunderstandings like this.
I honestly do not think it was meant in an insulting or offensive manner, but ofcourse that's just my opinion

My "not cool" comment was regarding the fact I didn't want to make comments or jokes on the thread where he was selling it... so I made a new thread. Common courtesy out of respect for the seller.
Thank goodness for a few folks who actually have a functioning sense of humor
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm working on my own new mod... made from a car battery, wine bottle, and a rubber chicken...

Do you plan to use recyclable bottles? (think green)
Will it be available in colors and if so just Clear or Dark? (green/amber)
Will the mod's battery be able to be recharged outside the car, or will you include a passthrough to allow us to use it "On The Go" while in the *portable charger* ...and if so do you plan to use the manifold as an atomizer?
Will you be using the prexisting windshield washer resevoir as an AFS, ( or is that what the bottle or chicken is for?) and if so, do you plan on this being able to fit in a backpack and include one with the kit or is that a sepperate add-on.
Will it come Barebones - (the KIT, NOT the chicken?) ((do they make boned rubber chickens??)) ie just batt, chicken and bottle, or can we order it in the *portable charger* (((car))) of our choice? Or both? Or neither?!
What will you call this new mod?

EDIT: My sense of humor got a little carried away, at the time I thought it was a funny name. Now that I look at it I see how it could be taken as an insult. Hope my comment didn't derail the rip on the hungwell thread.

Cool mod though. I dont know how many times Ive gone to work, realized I didnt switch my batts and they die at 8am and I work till 3pm. Lots of standard batts but no 3.7 volt ones. Hope I see more like this.

But seriously, I've always wondered why you modders that use the soldering irons don't also ditch the atty and just use the heating element already on the iron. Wouldn't that be better than struggling with the atties we use?

Man, I guess I'm lucky that I don't need to validate myself through an online forum and the things that go on there or else I'd be in real trouble huh?

I know who to send it to for conversion into a PV. Unfortunately, they don't make them with floodlights attached, so you'll need to add that yourself.

I am so happy that your keyboard and monitor make you feel all safe and fuzzy but GROW UP and learn some tolerance. If you do not like what someone has posted then how about politely saying I think your post is out of line and walk away and just do not look at it again out of sight out of mind.
