Prodigy V2 ordered #24201
The good thing is that hopefully a lot of the #'s in between are orders for the Protege and juices etc.

I am very attached to my July released Prodigy, but now it is time for a fresh one ;)

Since the V1 is my first and only mod, it'll be nice to receive the V2 and have a mod as backup instead of a traditional chinese kit. My wife is enjoying the old chinese kits though, so we're getting good reuse... but i just can't hang with 3.7v anymore as it's like sucking air through a Mcdonald's straw in terms of throat hit and flavor :p

Order # 24202. Console gaming keeps my PCs working really well :). And I was console gaming (pong, atari 2600) before there was an IBM PC. XBox Live is a very mature and functional multi-player platform and PSN is making some real progress. But both have serious customer service issues. I am well aware of the superior hardware available in a PC, I just don't want to upgrade my hardware every time a new game comes out. And while the consoles may lose a few features to the PC siblings, the developers have figured out how to make most games play very well on the given platform. (this statement does not apply to Fallout 3 on the PS3 :-x)

Put my oder in for the Prodigy v2 this weekend (Sunday), and this is also my first mod or anything above the standard choice of 3.7v. Utterly excited to say the least, was doing some research as the initial excitement has long since worn off after receiving my 901 and 510 in the mail and they do not cut the mustard anymore (even after upping the mg content of my liquids). So thus I knew I must now up the voltage to get more juice per hit of vapor. After reviewing the Prodigy v1 vs. many other higher voltage devices out there, the prodigy v2 won basically no contest.

Keep up the good work all of you at PureSmoker, though I have not used your equipment/juice yet, I already consider myself a dedicated customer of your products. Just might buy another prodigy v2 after the initial rush of orders is over.

Order # 24128 placed on Sunday 12/27/09.

I hope you guys enjoy them all :)

The countdown wait is on, but fortunately it won't be as long a wait as it was for the first run of Proteges. :D

Order#: 23938

And BikerGirl -- You are so right -- The Prodigy V1 and the first Protege Run seemed like forever. We have been able accomplish things a bit quicker in the past couple months for 2 reasons. 1) Extra machine purchased literally just for PureSmoker 2) we are farming a few of the parts out to other local shops so everything is ready right at about the same time! Win Win for everyone :D

O NO !!!! Brock has turned to the dark side of HV Vaping!!!!

I have been starting to give in again as well ... been using the 801 on the V2 for the past 36 hours .... o how I missed it!

Is 5v just too much for the 510 attys? I know some people love it, but for me it hits great about twice, and then here comes the acrid/burnt taste.

Any chance you'll be carrying the new High Voltage attys?

i still am using the same two attys i got in july with my prodigy which i bought in august. three or four drops on it, and i can vape away for about 15-20 drags, then get the warning puff. add some more, and off i go! maybe youre not dripping enough? i have about 7 of the "HV" attys, havent tried them yet. im still waiting for these to die before i try anything else.

How can you not have tried your HV attys? 8-o

I'm way too curious to leave them sitting there and not give 'em a try! ;)

Yeah, I varied the amount of drops trying to find a sweet spot with the PS USB PT. Basically had to stay on the edge of flooding to get a decent flavor. Might be the extra amps the PT delivers, or it could be the PS 555 I prefer just develops a burnt taste more easily than other liquids. Dunno.

hey lotus ... Probably not - but you never know? I only use the 801 at HV and stick with the 510 @ lower voltages ....

I can talk to my Joye rep and see if I can get these.

i don't understand the love of teh 801! i admit i haven't used it ALL THAT MUCH, but just the few times i've used mine at 5v i just don't get it. it's really light and airy to me, and doesn't give as strong flavor as a 901 or 510.

again, just opinion! i just prefer strong, sharp flavor.

Flitz -- Just a matter of preference really! I started with the 801 at HV's and never turned back. I just recently tried the 510 on the V2, and its really not too bad! I will give the 901 a try as well ... And really put the 510 and 901 through the ringer to see if I end up giving up the 801 at HV's to go with the 901 or 510 :)

I'm really curious as to how the 510's will perform on the V2. I use a V1 Prodigy with my 510's now, and at ~4.85 volts it's great. However, when I try to run a 510 on my Xhaler (which runs at about 5.5v), it's way too hot and it burns the juice. So, since the V2 will run at about 5.2 volts, I'm wondering if it's also going to be 'too much' for my 510's.

Steve - can you shed any light on the performance of a 510 on the V1 versus the V2?

Thanks!
