One more stupid question from the new guy.

Is Litecig a food place to order the VV kit? I'm new to the cape world and a 14 day waranty seems kind of short.

go to 101 vape website or Vapingtown on ebay.

Those are the best prices I know of.

Another great reviewer is Scott, aka igetcha69 ,on YouTube. He's been around for many years and has tested everything out there. Linear, logical, detailed, and to the point.

ETA...and let me not forget to add that he has THE most adorbs English accent (go on ladies - ya know you're going to look him up). ;)
Mark Todd also does some great reviews.

Hey guys, I got my VV v3 yesterday from fasttech, woo! So much ! Before the day was over, I ordered two more: one to switch to when my first is charging, and one for my husband.

So, I'm slowly working my through this 2,000+ comment (!) thread to learn all I can, but I do have a quick question: does anyone know if I can use my iPad (full size, 4th gen) charger to charge the VV?

They are essentially the same charger.
That having been said, there have been accidents involving charging ecigs with different chargers. It is really important to look at the numbers on your charger to see that they match the ones on the given charger.
also, if you go to a vendor website that sells the iTaste vv, you will find that you can find replacement chargers/cords for pretty cheap.

If FT did not include a charger and you don't know what numbers to look for, the "Official" charger for the iTaste vv usb adapter plug is 110/220v. If that is the same as your iPad charger, you are probably fine. As long as it is a mini usb. I thought ipad connectors were different. Most cell phone chargers are the same though.

I sold my iPad a while ago so my memory is hazy, but if the iPad's wall plug takes a regular USB plug into it, it should be fine to plug the iTaste's cable into to get a charge.

Just be advised that some of the tablet's power plugs output at 10 watts (I think it's watts...), whereas smaller/regular wall plugs for cell phones are commonly 5. You should be fine though no matter what.

I'd like to get one specifically made for the VV, but so far haven't found that on ebay UK or the sites I can order from -- I'll keep looking!

My iPad charger says "10W USB Power Adapter," and "Input: 100-240V~ 0.45A (0,45A) 50-60Hz Output 5.1V --- 2.1A".

The three dashes there actually have a straight line over top, something like
___
---

(edited to add that it does takes a regular USB plug)

Agree it will only take what it needs, but I do wonder if the charging time is faster with a 1 Amp over lets say a 500mah.

Yes, it has been my experience that it is faster. The charger is able to take what it needs and is not limited to 500mah.

That will be fine. The key is the output. USB2 is 5 VDC by defined standard. Current level will vary depending on the wall wart, and you need at least 500 mA output. At 2.1A, you have 2100 mA, so you are in good shape.

The charger is built into the VV3, all you need is the proper current level wall wart and a suitable cable to go from the wall wart USB2 connection to the VV3 micro USB. And the proper AC input voltage for your location, of course.

I have a question about the rivets? Mine has six. Met a kid today that tried to sell me his used one. It was beat to hell. Any how, I noticed that there was only one rivet and it was discolored. Some of the other metal was discolored as well. Had to pass on that poor thing but I grabbed another mini pro tank from him, for a buck:)

Everyone have 6?
