I have a question. I got two VV v3's from the same vendor at the same time. One black, one Chameleon. The black one I had to return for replacement because it was clearly defective. They sent me another black one that seems to be doing okay except it doesn't seem to last nearly as long as the chameleon. It lasted 230 puffs at 4.2v before it suddenly went red and died. The chameleon one lasted 279 puffs at 4.1v and it was on yellow when I put it on the charger. Thoughts??

If the toppers are the same resistance, I'd send the black one back while you can. I have three and my first one started losing battery capacity after about 2 months. It only lasts around 200 puffs and when I charge it and let it sit for a day without using it, it reads about 3.9-4 volts. Part of the display has also started to crap out.

Well, Ed, there's the rub. Last time I returned it, vendor said they would reimburse postage and throw a free bottle of juice in the return package. They didn't. I am not sure I trust them completely. I purchased an additional $35 worth of merchandise the day they told me that and waited on shipment until they got my device so they could ship the replacement together with the new order...you know, good faith on my part.... and I feel like they didn't totally respond in kind by not actually taking the action they said they would. So...If I ship it back *again* , it'll be another $10, which is practically halfway to another vv in shipping alone.

Argh. My Tapatalk is having push notification issues! So frustrating when they release an update that screws things up!

As far as battery life. .. What resistance coil? That can affect our in addition to the voltage you're at.

Sent from my Galaxy Note 3 via Tapatalk.

Same exact topper. 1.6?

Maybe you can call them and tell them how disappointed you are and see what they say. Did you get back with them after they didn't do as they said they would?

Yes, a thought, chapeltown. Dependent on what the vendor says at this point, and should you decide it's not worth it to ship it back for yet another replacement, in yer shoes I would use it until it no longer functions. It may be a slightly shorter-lived device, but it is working.

I have done a search of this thread, and I see a mention a few times of beauty rings, but they seem to all be for a particular tank, usually the IBtank stuff. Are there no "generic" beauty rings for the iTaste vv3, for when I'm using a 510 device? I have JUST discovered the wonder that is cartomizers, a friend PIF'ed me a couple of drippers and this Boge LR Carto; can't say much about the drippers, as I'm not sure I really understand how to use them properly yet, but this carto is amazing. I definitely want more, but I'd really like to hide those eGo threads.

Thx,
Andria

I just ordered some of these. Cut cones for smaller tanks and clearos, sleeve cones for vivi nova size. To use them, thread them all the way down, put your topper on until it makes contact, then unthread the cone until it contacts your topper.

Cones

Hmm... the pic it shows is an actual tank, on an actual eGo; this carto is quite narrow, and of course it's not on an eGo, it's on an iTaste vv3; I'm just wondering where that flanged end would go; with a tank, I guess it's hidden, but this isn't a tank, it's a narrow carto; seems like it would make it look worse than it does already, with that flange sticking out -- there's no huge tank to cover it.

Well, I already know I'm going to order one of the battery-only vv3's from desertvapes, so I could get one of those cut cones when I order the battery. I guess I just wasn't looking at it properly, but after looking at the close-up pic some more, I think maybe it would work. Since my current vv3 is stainless, and even the other colors have stainless details around the button and the bottom screen and buttons, I guess the stainless one would look the best.

Love their prices on these LR cartos, too! Excellent!!!

And a question, about drip tips. I like my vape warm, not hot, and I find this carto provides a pretty hot vape, although a lot of that might be the short aluminum driptip I'm using. I'm going to get some plastic ones, and at least one glass driptip, but what I need to know is, would a longer one keep it from being too hot, but still let it be warm? I'm looking particularly at the longneck, and the swivel driptips, since those would definitely provide a greater distance from the heat of the atomizer.

Thx,
Andria

Or Fasttech, Andria. Colors galore.

Hmm, no, not for something I need *this* month. :D I'm going to order a boatload of T3S coil replacements from them, probably in May, but only after I already have at least a half-dozen usable ones here.

As broke as I am, I really think my patience is shorter than my budget. :D
