Hey guys... Im trying to figure out a lanyard option for the vv3. My best guess would be the ego lanyard and a rubber o ring. Any ideas for the size o ring? Or other lanyard options??

I took the C shaped metal clip from my eGo lanyard and spread the arms out slightly. Then, I pressed the clip down over the closed pliers end of a Gerber multi-tool. This spread the arms slightly. Then I was able to work the arms so the clip fit around the metal base of my Evod. Two of the air holes looked like they were covered up, but there is a slight gap between the clip and the base, so airflow was still good.

Andria, Brooks' linked item will work fine with cartos. Attach the carto, then slide the long cone down over it and screw it onto the VV3 ego threads. It will go most of the way up the carto. Gives a nice tapered look to the whole assembly. And yes, a longer drip tip will give more time for the vapor to cool a bit. Perhaps going to a standard resistance carto would help, too, if you're using LR ones now.

Of course, if you go to a carto tank, vs. a plain carto, it won't work, and one of the "cut" ones would.

For a lanyard, yes, an O-ring would be fine. Just take your VV3 with you when at the hardware store to size it. But you can also just use an ego lanyard if you're using a 510 type topper. The topper will keep it from coming off, although of course it will "spin." So it that's an issue, the O-ring might be better for you. There are also pouches made for them.

Would the short cones work with a regular cartomizer and an iTaste? Not the "cut cones" but the regular eGo short cones. It doesn't look like desert vapes has the long ones, and I *hate* ordering just one thing from a place, the shipping eats me alive. Since I know I'm going to be ordering a good bit from desert vapes, I'd rather get the cone from them, even if it is $1 more than elsewhere -- the shipping would be a LOT more than a $1, I know for sure.

I've found a place with some really *excellent* prices on a lot of stuff, like an eGo twist that I'm going to order as a backup battery, but they're in Hong Kong so their shipping will take nearly as long as SlowTech's. Since the Twist is going to be for backup, I figure a lengthy delay isn't a huge deal. Their drip tips are cheap too, so I might order some from them, but definitely going to get a few from desert vapes, along with another iTaste battery-only, and the short cone, if it will work with the iTaste.

I +1 this post!!! That tank is Gorgeous!!!

from my galaxy s4

Looks like a ibtanked with a very nice sleeve and a pro tank beauty ring. So fancy Kat.

I think you posted one with a similar sleeve when we were all going over the major ibtanked discussion.

That one on the left blew me away. It is elegant in a steam punk fashion. You have to share the details.

Thank you guys! What was it that you loved, brook? I'm guessing it's that fancy napkin. ;) Thanks hon. :)

That one on the left is a silver eGo beauty ring (FT has them in a 10 pack) sitting as a base for the tank, and a gaposis cover for threads. The tank is an IBT. I can't recall where the drip tip is from... it came with something else... another tank I believe.

Speed, there's a sign up sheet by the door for refreshments. It's a Pot Luck party!

Yeah I think you're right; someone PIF'ed me the LR one, and I like it a lot, but it really is hot. I just went up to the B&M and got a plastic drip tip, but it's still pretty dang warm, so I think the standard resistance ones would work better for me, and maybe also a longer driptip. I really like that carto though, for taking when I go out; it's so much lighter than a tankful of juice, and not so much to worry about, if I get clumsy and drop it. So I do need to get some kind of beauty ring to cover those threads.

I *finally* got brave enough to dry burn my coils. Had some success, except with one, I put new flavor wicks, and I think I got carried away with "priming" it with juice; I swear it was only 2-3 drops, but that one is still gurgling, so I guess I need to just let it sit for a few days. It's a spare one anyhow. The others now work GREAT, and those cotton wicks really do seem to give more flavor than the silica wicks that were there before.

Up at the B&M just now, I finally got to see a PT II Mini, and wow, that really is small. It'll be great on my iTaste! :thumb:

Even down here in Ga, we had the coldest winter in 30 years, including one actual snowfall (bout 4 inches, +/-) and an icestorm. Which is much to be thankful for, because it's what made me interested in e-cigs, so I didn't have to freeze out there on the porch. Brrr! We've had spring for the last couple days, and all the plum trees blooming (which I call "popcorn trees" because that's what they look like!) but tomorrow it's only going to the mid-50's all day, and raining. Yeah, I guess that qualifies as spring too.

When I lived briefly in Denver, and for 5 yrs near Detroit, MI, I saw more snow fall in the spring than during the winter, always.
