Just converted 2 smokers to ecigs while on my trip to Yellowknife in the North West Territory of Canada and need to replace the VV 3.0's I gave away. Where can I find the best price to replace them.

desertvapes.com if you just want the batteries... $25.95.. if you want any kind of kit, then the vapingtown link is probably the best.

Sorry, no. It was a while ago in the Deals and Steals group. Someone asked what to do with ego batts and some lady said "send them to me, I make wind chimes out of the tubes". You could join the group and ask who said it.

Is that Vapor Joe's deals and steals? I can't locate the group...... I'm a Facebook doofus.

Is this the best price going still for just the batteries?? We have 3 MVP's but are thinking about getting 2 vv 3.0's to use in lanyards when we are out on the bike. Trying to figure out if these or regular spinner batteries would be more durable.

I have both, spinner and vv3's -i love my spinner but the vv is way more durable. Ive dropped em both, vv3 outlasts by far. The spinner at the botton of all themree spinners eventually loosen up. And when dropped the fire button gets sucked into battery tube. Been lucky and got it out 2 times but scared me. Dropped my vv3 several times and other than a few nicks on bottom they look new!!!

I just got my VV Ver 3.0 in the mail, tried it out with some Hawk Sauce (GO HAWKS!) from MBV in a Protank3. Just amazeballs. Just swapping back to my Vapage UTURN is such a letdown. The variable wattage adjustment is incredible and I dialed in extremely quickly.

I understood the pursuit of different equipment from an intellectual standpoint, but now I fully grok it as an experience.
Oh, and it is the 6 rivet, picked up for $29.99 on ebay. Should have gotten one of these for my GF instead of the eGo C Twist (PINK!). And another for me, of course.

Many hardware stores, i.e. Home Depot, Lowes, will take batteries. Just put some tape over the connection end to prevent any possibility of a short. "Dead" is relative, and when it gets dumped into the bins buttons can get pushed.

Best Buy does too. They have bins right at the entrance.

I am looking at the v3 because my Vamo is too big to take to work and my Evods don't work well with the different tanks and clearos I use at home. I have a couple of questions and I'm hoping you folks can help me out. Is there a kit that includes the cap, and will an e-smart clearo fit under the cap?

Thanks in advance!

The one with the cap is the iTaste EP it has a smaller batter and is regulated at 3.5 volts. It is billed as the VV's little brother by some sellers.

There was also an iTaste VV 10S that came with a cap and square clearos. It's no longer listed on the website and I think it's been discontinued. I haven't heard good things about it and I don't think the square clearos worked very well. If I'm not mistaken it could also use 510 toppers, but not eGo (without an adapter).

Sounds like you don't have enough flavor wick after the dry burn. That will often cause the leak to the battery that you describe. Pour the juice back into your bottle, wiggle the chimney off and check. I use a full piece of Peaches and Cream yarn with generally good results on my T3S, Aro and most other bottom coil toppers. (Some times, with some Aros, a full strand plus 1 or 2 individual strands is needed, the P&C is 4 strands) Lay it across the main wick, put the chimney back on, and trim both sides even with the base. then fluff them out so the gap is filled with wicking.

It might be, too, that when you had them apart to clean you disturbed the main wick. If that's the case, you'll need to replace that. You can use the P&C for that, too, although you won't be able to dry burn :) Use any small pointed tool (toothpick?) to work the silica wick out, piece by piece. Be gentle, so you don't distort the wire of the coil. Once it's all out, thread the P&C through. You can wrap one end of it to a point with teflon plumber's tape, which comes off easily.

Or you can use any other cotton for wick. Many use cotton balls, teasing out enough to roll into a "thread." For the coil, the wick should have just a slight resistance to being pulled back and forth.

Too tight and you'll get dry hits. Too loose and it will gurgle and leak.

I finally got some of that Peaches n Cream yarn tonight. So a full strand, for the T3S coils? And a strand and a half for the ARO? I will definitely keep that in mind! Someday I probably will get into rebuilding, it seems to offer a positive nirvana of great vaping, but for now, I got that 3-pk I ordered of replacement coils; I put all the old ones into individual small ziplocks -- great that I saved them all, from all the vapemail! :D -- and wrote on the bag exactly what it is, and what sort of symptoms it was displaying. One of them is completely toast; the other two (T3S coils) still work, but taste burnt, which I didn't even realize until I put in a new one! :D The ARO.. hmmm... I might still be able to get that one to work, I haven't used it a lot, and it seemed to dry burn well, the wick in the coil turned snow white. Maybe now that I have this P&C yarn, I can keep it from leaking all over the battery.

However, I have that PT II Mini coming, which should be here Wednesday -- so the ARO isn't as absolutely essential as it was at first. Also I'm out of cinn redhot, so I gotta get more. :D Think I might go with ECBlends' Cinnamon Fireball this time.

Try the ARO with the same as the T3S first, a full strand of the P&C, i.e. don't unwrap any of it. It may be just fine. Some of the Aro heads have a bigger notch for the wick, and may need a bit more. So unwrapping an inch or so and adding 1 small strand to the whole piece MAY be needed. And when the time comes, the PT2 mini (and other bottom coils) are pretty much the same.

Tastes like chicken...

Just use it for Turkieish Tobacco :)

Ok all of you who have had a vv 3.0 for a little while. How is average battery life compared to say a regular eGo spinner??? Also what is the consensus of the best topper for out and about but still not look odd??? Will the Kanger T2 fit comfortably on it??? We plan on using these as back-ups to use on bike trips in lanyards so want a little durability.
