I think you want the washer there guys, you could be taking a risk of a short happening without it. I believe the washer is like a ground,,, Dave?

The rubber Oring needs to be under the battery, it serves two functions:

1. The rubber oring serves as an insulator, keeping the battery from touching the body and shorting out. Though batteries are wrapped with plastic, it tends to get ragged at the ends and doesn't always fully wrap around the edges.

2. The Oring serves as a "spring" and keeps constant pressure on the battery to top post connection. (in the case of the kick, it keeps constant pressure on the battery to kick connection and kick to top post connection).

David can the O-ring go on the switch end instead of the connection end ?

The Oring only goes under the battery in the bottom of the battery compartment. There is a machined in ledge in the body that spearates the switch compartment from the battery compartment.

Nice shop David! Need any help?

Thank you Vapn! I actually just hired another worker about 3 weeks ago, so i am good for now. We are actually caught up for the first time in the over two years we've been open. Now we are just waiting on the machine shop to get us more desperately needed parts :)

@ Kicked 18,500:

The oring could be RED, thus matching the IMR AW's "red lights", coool!!!

Nevertheless, I guess DAVID could also offer a new top cap which is slighlty shorter in the threads, as to fit perfectly... !!!

What do you guys think !?

No can do. The external cap threads are not determining how long the cap is. The internal specs of the juice well, followed by the internal 510 atomizer threads (which extend quite deep in the cap) followed by the center post, are what determines the length of the cap and it is as short as in can be with this particular design.

Thanks for confirming what I thought about the Oring, Dave Do you have any plans on building a precise to work with the kick unit where we could control the kick from the outside of the precise unit. Maybe like a turning control ring, or integrating the "Kick" into the top cap for some way of controlling the "kick" from the outside ? just curious

With the Kick in the 500 you put a o-ring between the body and the top cap to hide the gap. What I was wondering is can the o-ring go between the body and the bottom cap?
