I got the L2 from strictlyejuice for 33.95, free shipping, 2 batt, 2 atty, charger and 5 carts. Not bad. I hate the LED though, I prefer to not waste battery juice on lights.

But other than that, I like it. Its identical in vapor and throat hit as the original 510. The batteries provided are slightly shorter than original models, but alas. They last about half a work day for me, which is better than past models. Good hits and vapor, and super cheap, fast as well.

However, im finding that original DURA carts do not fit the L2 well. They are just a shade to narrow and wont stay, thats a drag. Other than that, the amount of liquid the new carts hold is a bit less then the original. also kinda annoying.

But other than that, its a solid performer, and well worth the 33 bones. So far, the atty is just as good as a fresh original one. I would love to try it on a mod, but alas, I have none.

The true test is time. I have not had a 510 atty die on me to this day, but I use new ones as they get old, so hopefully this clone wont die. Also, old 510 attys lasted at full performance for 1-3 months, time shall tell.

Everybody who is getting or has the L2 kit.... keep an eye on your batteries.

Had one "stick on" today.... got the atty smokin' hot (probably ruined), melted the cartridge and dern near gave the wife a new chest tattoo.

I'm not an alarmist..... and I don't think the L2 is garbage. I just want people to be "observant" in case a trend develops.

I've contacted my vendor and I'm confident they will take care of my specific issue.

I reckon "knock on wood".... I've got 14 Joye 510 batteries (7 Mega, 7 standard) and haven't had one stick yet.

I've got two "L2" 510 batteries.... and as noted, we've had a "sticker".

Auto batteries... different story. Both my KR808D-1 and M702 auto batteries have "stuck", but I attribute that to a completely different failure mechanism. When they stick the LED stays on too.....

So i ordered my kit yesterday from strictlyejuice and didn't see their christmas special for their L2 510 Red wine starter kit for 30 bucks with free shipping. 2 batteries, 2 atomizers, etc.
Deal is only good from yesterday till new years eve. If this L2 works good I will have to buy some for gifts. I know a lot of people that smoke!

I dunno how sold I am on the whole L2 series of generos. According to what I've read on this thread their ohm resistance is equivalent to a 901 or 801 which could be decent in my mind when vaping at high voltage, but if you want a good whack & throat hit (as many many prefer) sticking with a traditional 510 atty is the way to go. 2.4 ohm of resistance (with the original, non-knock-off L2 series) will give you more vapor. The ONLY reason I may be the slightest bit intrigued by these attys is for 2 reasons. First they supposedly carry a 6 month warranty if bought from SEJ- but as of right now you would have to buy an entire kit, something I couldn't be anymore all set with. (The only other atty I know of carrying a 6 month warranty is from Janty if you buy the more expensive of the two attys they offer in any given category/model (DURA=510 btw) & that would be the more traditional 510 I believe giving you a better resistance of 2.4 ohms). Secondly, the L2 has some colors unavailable with the REAL/authentic 510 attys. I dig the chrome ones cuz I'd hope they'd go well with my SB & that could be an aesthetic plus in my book. & yeah, after using 6V I can't go back to anything lower again so the L2 might actually be a decent choice given the resistance factor of 3.4 for HV vaping.
Just my 2 cents.

I have seen a few posts that said that the L2 510 batteries stick...where the button stays activated and the atomizer keeps working but the LED light is off. This has happened to me as well, but I was well aware of it when it was happening.

Also when the L2 510 batteries are low on power the LED will flash to let you know it's time to recharge. They flash just like the Joye batteries. But if you wait a bit you can still get a couple more puffs out of them before they flash again. And unlike the Joye bateries that will only do a sequence of flashes one time before they die, the L2 batteries will keep flashing every time you hit the button.

I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

I bought 6 of them for extra batteries and attys. I just tried the blue one.

My battery stuck almost immediately, but I could hear it sizzling and pressed the button again to shut it off. So there is definitely a defect in the switches.

Other than that, it appears to work great. I blew out the atty, but there was nothing in there. I filled the cart, put a drop on the atty, and immediately had great vapor and great flavor. It seemed a lot easier to work with out of the box than the original 510.

I like my flavors mellow, and this e-cig seems to produce 'immediate', very mellow vapor and flavor.

I just received an L2 that I ordered and built a webpage with details on my first impressions for anyone who might be interested. I have several other 510's that I'm happy with and the L2 seems comparable although I'm just getting started I have only been vaping now for two and a half months.
I can't post the link not enough posts so I guess you can pm me to get the link.
I did observe some key differences like mouthpiece/cartridge texture and size but overall, I am observing performance is pretty comparable.
I ordered a number of strictly's ejuices and I'll try and post reviews in that section of the forum as I sample them.
Strictly seems to be doing their level best to go above and beyond and like everyone I come in contact with here at ecf, as a newbie with only two and a half months of vaping under my belt, I really appreciate this forum and the folks here.
Happy holidays.

Great reply until this bit
To answer your question myself, I say yes. But to respect the privacy of our manufacturer, they will note that, and I quote "different customers may have their own different slogans."
which, to me, puts the whole issue of "is it genuine Joye or not" in question again. I am, personally, REALLY interested in the answer since I just placed an order with you tonight (but requested a "new/Joye" kit since you have admitted to haveing defective/malfunctioning batteries from the previous manufacturer. Why do you need to
respect the privacy of our manufacturer
? They are either reputable or not. Just be 100% up front about WHO IT IS!!!!!!
