nj1001:I dunno how sold I am on the whole L2 series of generos. According to what I've read on this thread their ohm resistance is equivalent to a 901 or 801 which could be decent in my mind when vaping at high voltage, but if you want a good whack & throat hit (as many many prefer) sticking with a traditional 510 atty is the way to go. 2.4 ohm of resistance (with the original, non-knock-off L2 series) will give you more vapor.

Really! If you want a 901 or 801 hit don't go HV. lol.

The ONLY reason I may be the slightest bit intrigued by these attys is for 2 reasons. First they supposedly carry a 6 month warranty if bought from SEJ- but as of right now you would have to buy an entire kit, something I couldn't be anymore all set with. (The only other atty I know of carrying a 6 month warranty is from Janty if you buy the more expensive of the two attys they offer in any given category/model (DURA=510 btw) & that would be the more traditional 510 I believe giving you a better resistance of 2.4 ohms).

heaven gifts has a good warranty... just a good idea to gather some together and just use airmail- $5 shipping.

Secondly, the L2 has some colors unavailable with the REAL/authentic 510 attys. I dig the chrome ones cuz I'd hope they'd go well with my SB & that could be an aesthetic plus in my book. & yeah, after using 6V I can't go back to anything lower again so the L2 might actually be a decent choice given the resistance factor of 3.4 for HV vaping.
Just my 2 cents.

That's just the atty side. There seems to be a real weakness in the batt switch.

I got the chrome L2 510 and I LOVE it! So slick lookin' with the black carts :D

Its also been working great for me, I dont take massive drags as I dont have the lung capacity (IE: Im a wuss) but Im even getting really good vaper off these attys. Actually I just ordered 2 more batts and attys in black :)

Oh! And I havent had an analog since I got it on xmas eve! :D

Took a little while to get my L2 510, ordered on a Monday and didn't get it until the following Wednesday but that's OK.

Anyway, I think it's ok, I got the stainless steel design with the red tip.

It smokes just about the same as the Joye 510 but not as well I would have to say. The carts are not as tight as the Joye and they are not whistle tip, which I love. The Joye carts don't fit on the L2, way too loose.

I think it's worth the 35 bucks to have as a backup, spare or to gift to a smoker you want to quit.

I got two SLB 510 atty's from StrictlyEJuice.com yesterday.

So far so good. They produce tons of vapor, decent throat hit, and even after 3-4 long drags it's not almost too hot too touch. I like that.

I'm staying away from any SLB 510 batteries though, seems to be a weakness in their quality control. The atomizers themselves are fine when run on good quality batteries. I'm using TW Mega manuals and they seem more than capable of driving this higher resistance atomizer.

edit:

I haven't gotten a sense of their longevity yet though, only time will tell. Before this I was using the same Joyetech atty for 2 months. Given the price difference, if these last at least a month I'll be satisfied.

I have got some 401's and 306's that must be the same design. They also have the ring around the atty and have a higher metal bridge then the originals. I can't really say who made them first but I had the 401's that I loved that came in the blue package. The others that I got came in clear cellophane with no primer. I got three 401's and they all died within a week, so I had to go and find the Smoore version. It is much much better, the 306 on the other hand started off just ok but I now prefer it to the 510's that I have.

I only tailpipe drip and that may be the reason that I like the 306's so well along with the smoore 401's. They perform very well with fresh batts on my boxmod but are not worth crap on a regular batt. I change the batts every morning as I can tell the vapor diminishes when the voltage gets just a little low. Point is that there are now knockoffs of all the atties, not just the 510's. One good thing is that I have noticed a price drop on all of them good or bad, not just the copies. I wonder if they are all L2's?

LMAO.....I saw what I wanted to see the first time. Since...I've re-read and noticed the marketing twist. I'm pretty sure these are going to operate like a 901 on a 510 battery. Whether that's good or not...we'll see I guess.

I sure dont see how that could be good a 510 outproduces a 901 in vapor by quite a bit. The 901 batt doesnt need to be recharged as much as a 510. So the way I see it a L2 atty will giv 901 vapor with a 510 batt life. HMM whats wrong with this picture. Think I'll stick with Joye

Update on the L2 510:

I for sure have one battery that likes to get stuck, maybe 2. I'm going to test them today...I've been using my Joye 510 more so I haven't really noticed until I used my favorite Joye atomizer with the L2 battery and heard my atomizer cooking away.

I'm going to return them and see if the new ones I get are any better.

FYI on the Joye batteries....they have NO life on them what so ever....(yes, I have read complaints about this same thing.) I think I am getting about 20 mins puff time on them.

::sweats from digging up an old thread::

I'm glad i found this thread. I ordered a donkey load of kits from Cocoo, a chinese supplier. I asked repeatedly if these were Joytech or if they were a differnt manufacturer. They told me they were the original Joyetech.....so I asked again, and they concured.

I got my shipment, and busted them open.

KEEP THIS IN MIND!! I am the power vaper...I crave that BIG huge hot hit:evil:....I'm dripping every 5 or so puffs...I try to stay one drop away from flooded at all times...

I was very disatisfied with the hits. I wasn't even sure if it was working like it should, so I tried another atty....then another...and anoth...well, you get the idea.

I have had one, and only one, problem with a sticky switch - only once - and that may have been on my accord.

On the other hand, I have really liked the batts. They seem to last longer. I, personaly, am abusive to these things - open the box, spin em together and puff til the batt flashes. Recharge until I get the green, and off I go again. In any matter, these things just seem to perfom better than the traditional batts.

ANYWAYS, thats my $.02. I'm slightly disappointed, but I wouldn't say a loss. I just hope my customers are pleased with them. I've given a few out for trials, and we'll see how it goes!

I sent an e-mail to Joyetech to confirm my suspicions.....

I have purchased many of your 510 products, and I truely love them. They are great!

As of recent, I have changed suppliers, one from china, that claims to be selling a Joytech product. I recived the product and noticed several diffeneces. I asked the supplier several times before ordering if the products he was suppling were genuine Joytech products, and he assured me that they were.

I have also read about some imitators out there. I am wondering if this is a Joytech product, or if it is another manufacturer.

First difference was when the battery goes dead, the light will flash 5-10 times. If the button is pressed again, the light will flash 5-10 times again, and subsequently every time the button is pushed, the light will flash. Previously, I noticed your battery lights to flash aprox 20 times, and then remian out, even when the button is pushed.

The second difference I noticed was that the atomizer looked different in the internal workings. The atomizer I received has a stainles steel washer iside the base of the atomizer. I have never noticed this in your atomizers before.

The manufacturer whom sold me these products is known as Cokoo.

Their info is:

Tel:0086-18967899030
Fax:0086-579-85773300
Web:Yiwu Cokoo Co., Ltd. - Electronic cigarette, e cig, ecigs

Are these your products, or not? I have been very happy with your products so far, just this shipment has been very disapointing.

Thank you!

So, I never got my battery replacement from Strictly, they told me they would send and never did.

When I went to New Orleans this weekend I had brought the L2 510 batteries with me because I knew I'd need as much batteries as I could bring, broken or not. I knew when I used those batteries that I had to make sure it still wasn't powering the atty after I puffed. However, after a few drinks I forgot about having to take special care with it and looked down at the bar and saw it smoking and stuff melting...burned out my favorite 510 atty booo....
