Got it yesterday, vaping all day yesterday and today with it and yes it is a great investment...don't even think provari, this works..wanted a provari but now Iam glad i didn't pull the trigger. For a third of the price- the only thing i haven't got is the ability to read my ohms on my atty/carto,but even being a noob i know what they are.Yes i said a third cause most follks/vapers want the extended cap and all those other crazy options that go with the provari........the tube.......no the LAVATUBE- china made like the rest of the e-cig stuff- is china made and it works- been toying with it for two days...........and i got a year warranty,as long as i dont use my own attys or cartos.

juices i have been vaping since i have had this vv device

backwoodsbrew- virgina,backo,555,casablanca
halo - torque56,prime15,
vaperitre - organic juices(vr4,tobacco)

VAPE ON..........

Yeah, I was sooooo close to pulling the trigger on a Provari as well and stumbled upon this by chance and I would have bought 2 of the overpriced Provaris. This will cut into the sales for Provape and rightfully so, they have been overcharging for a tube that basically has the same guts as this and if anything the Lavatube is more user friendly and functional other that the ohm of the attached consumable which you do not need to know with this device. $70.00 for this device on its own versus 160.00 +$20.00 for the extension to use the same battery and you are paying for a fancy tube when the Lavatube will do everything the Provari can do and in some ways do it much, much better.

So why not buy 2-3 of them, with a one year warranty even if they fail you got backups while it is being service or replaced under the 1 year warranty and still have the same amount invested. Plus, the vaping landscape changes so much in one year that someone will come up with a new innovation that we just have to have at an exorbitant price ie. Provari.

Actually you can use your own attys/cartos, they changed the warranty. It will still be covered.
I bet that just made you happy

i think the op's intention was to point out that the provari and lavatube does the same thing, only LT does it for much less money. the provari looks much nicer and more "bling bling" and that alone will make people buy the provari. a LT isnt a "show off" device, the provari is and yes, i would like to have both. (i have the infinity pro and love it)

how do you buy this thing? i go to the lava tube website and it re-directs me to the volcano website. i see no mention of lavatube on the volcano website. maybe im overlooking something?

There is a little square with the LT in it on the lower left side of the Volcano "home" page.

    edit:
Can't find it on their site today either!

To the best of my knowledge, the lava tube is only available to those who got onto the preorder list. Volcano has had a whole lineup of ppl waiting for the chance to order one for quite some time now. Sales to the general public are slated for the first part of december.

    ^^what he said^^
What I've now been told is that it has been removed from the site since "pre orders" are over.
    So now we just wait.

I've been using my Lavatube a couple days now and really like it. Not as sexy or solid as my Provari, but I really like the lightweightness and love the ease of changing voltage with the 2 buttons. I tried but never liked the one button setup of the provari.

The most important thing is VV is now available at a reasonable price. Once you go VV you can't go back. No matter what atty system you use.

The buttons and plastic caps do feel cheap so I will be surprised to see if they hold up. But for the price they are priced right. This thing vapes as well or better than my provari, and love that I can change the voltage with one press of a button.

    2SMOK - Cigarros Electrónicos | LavaTube
But a limited Pre order run and now there all gone.
Saw this on the UK forums and went to the site and translated out of curiosity.
    Happy Vaping.

I've got me eye on that Mini-ThunderVolt.

Looks like it would be a Perfect VVPV for the car or running errands.
