Awesome, thanks Nailz. When this tank is empty I'll assemble it properly. It shouldn't take long at the rate I'm sucking up the juice. I'll dial the airflow back immediately. Through some random stroke of luck, I think I got the wicking spot on. I was pretty worried that I would screw up the wicking and have to dump the tank and re-wick it. At least something went right, lol.

Congrats on your first coil!

Out of curiosity what gauge wire did you use? What diameter?>

I have my airflow pretty shut down, but far better than a kayfun. I love the flavor :)

Congrats on your first coil. I'm new to rba's as well, but have gone a little nuts, lol!

It becomes a bit of an addiction for awhile. Having tried everything from dripping to genesis style atomizers over the past year, I have finally settled on "mid coil" style atomizers as my favorite. "Mid Coil" referring to the likes of the Taifun GT, kayfuns, Aqua, Expromizer, Foggers, etc.....

I was pretty settled in as the Expromizer being my favorite, even with it's tighter draw and actually thought I was done for awhile because it seems everything new that's come out was pretty much just more of the same.

The Lemo was the first one to come out in awhile that actually offered some improved features, wasn't a direct clone, and was being sold at a fair price. Winning!

I also think I like the build on the kayfun, taifun, Lemo, etc the best. I have a Rosev2 clone also, but the build is kind of a pain.

I think I want one more tank, but I'm not sure which one. Eproximizer? Erl if clones come out? Another Lemo or Taifun? I don't think I want a Fogger.

I like the lemo 5 x better than the fogger v4. That is for sure. :2c:

No comment on the Erlkonigin, I've yet to try one, although it seems the clones will be here soon enough.

The Expromizer is a nice one, but even at it's most open setting, the draw is only marginally better then a Kayfun. If you're expecting a more open draw like the Lemo, you will be disappointed. Great flavor from it though, and it is filled like a Taifun GT, which means you can build and rewick it without emptying the tank. I also purchased the tank and chimney extension. Although it's HUGE, it holds about 9ml of eliquid in long mode. I can vape on it in for a couple days easy.

The v1.2 was just released which now has better looking top cap, otherwise the same as the v1.1.

I saw a post recently here that someone is selling a v1.1 clone on Ebay, and it appears to be spot on right down to the packaging. So much so, that I believe it isn't a clone, in the sense that it was probably manufactured by the same company building the Expromizer for Exvape. While the Expromizer is designed and sold by a German company, it is manufactured in China.

Perhaps the manufacturer had left over product when Exvape wanted the v1.2 produced. Who knows......For $35, it looked pretty nice.

I'll pass on the Expromizer, threaded plactic tank is a deal breaker. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the Erlkonigin, that one has some pretty cool features. I may have to try one of the clones, even though it looks like a single coil is all you can build on it.

I hear ya. I don't think it's the best design in that respect either. However, you can interchange the tank sections, and with my extra steel section, I have run it in short mode with two steel sections/no clear section, as well as running it in long mode, placing the center clear section in between the steel sections, Kayfun style.

The tank extension with chimney extension cost me an extra $12 from ExVape.

Doesn't matter. The Expromizer will be put away again once my second Lemo shows up in the mail tomorrow. ;) I suspect I would find the Erlkonigin a disappointment with it's proprietary screw on drip tip, particularly if it only comes with the plastic one.

So, add another Lemo to the list. I filled it up with the stock coil and hell, it doesn't work. I love 6/7 28 ga wraps on silica for my KF 3.1, and I'll be doing that exact same build for the Lemo tonight.

I'm wondering about the silicone thingy for the filling port. Does it really work? Mine doesn't go in all the way, maybe should I thin the thing a little so that it plugs correctly?

Airflow is a ....., too much. Seems I've been able to take it all the way down, maybe plug a couple of the airholes from the inside?

Get a rubber band to protect the glass, better than nothing. You can also put some clear "skin", it'll keep it from breakage.

I love it to be much lighter than the KF. I've had mine to dive on the bathroom floor all the way from my lanyard, with MVP attached.

Could someone post a picture with the silicon stopper on? I'd love to know how it sits on yours.

I guess I was missing out on flavor, I have my afc wide open and after reading some posts above I decided to tinker with it. Turned it down some and the flavor got really intense! I can still lung hit it which is good, diy vanilla custard tastes soo good. Well I thought my stingray x would look good with the ss lemo but not the case, the tube is only 22mm and looks really funky on top. Gonna have to look into that turtleship mod.

Yes as I found out, really need to dial back the airflow to get flavor, my complaint is that damn air flow ring is so loose, I have to mess with it every time I refill it, and of course don't get it set the same every time, think I saw somebody say about putting a oring under it to stop it moving so easy, so going to see if can do that next time I need to refill it.

New coil. 26 gauge 10 wrap 3/32 drill but came out to 1.2 ohms and she is doing nicely!

Naliz I definitely agree about the airflow. I feel like I can never get it right where I want it, and it always changes on me... Oh well still a great atty.

Running it on the ivp2 13.6 watts. Wicked with silica

Nice looking build right there ;)

I got to say, the lemo has the best deck screws out of all the atties I've had, so easy to catch the wire under screws, used 28 and 24 gauge, and had no problems connecting coils under them screws :)

I haven't found it to be to much of hassle to adjust it periodically, but I'm quite certain that it moves around on it's own from normal use.

At some point, I will try finding my sweet spot then fitting an oring on either side of the AFC nut, or maybe even a small spot of light duty thread locker.

It might actually be enough to fit an o-ring on the bottom side of the nut, because when mine moves it tends to open, not close. That would save having to disassemble the build/build deck to fit an o-ring on the opposite side..

When this tank is empty, I'm going to see what I can do with it, rather tighten it with a o-ring if can, still want to be able to adjust it, but do have the blue loctite if needed, not like it locks it so much you can't break the seal if needed, I will report back with what I come up with.

I found that a kayfun chimney o-ring is a perfect fit for the center pin. I dialed in the AFC, and for now, just put the one ring on the bottom. I'll let you know how it works out.

BTW, I like the spring idea, and I just found an extra spring from my RSST that might work for that. I probably won't be trying that out right away though.
