I've been traveling with mine for the last four days and I must say it's been great... Minimal wire needed to recoil and takes very little cotton to stuff... I brought 2 feet of wire and 6 inches of rayon and I haven't even touched it... The only I do is drain it when I get on the plane... And I'm good to go... Consistency and little headache with no need to fill it but once a day... And that's even using ni200 in temperamental mode

I can't say the same thing about any kayfun (including the kf4), orchid, billow, or rda I've traveled with ... Close second is the Atlantis with packing an extra coil... But then I can't use a dna40

I rebuilt mine at 1.5 ohms. Seems to have quite a bit less flavor than the stock build. Is that just to little cotton used on my part ?

The stock coil is about 1.1 ohm. From my experience, a 1.5 ohm coil won't deliver the same amount of flavor and vape. It could be the wicking method you have used. I would double check that the cotton is not blocking the juice channels. I tend to put more cotton than I probably should, but I have seen others build this with shorter wicks and it seems to work just fine.

I found the lemo likes the juice holes the gap near the side of the chamber to be clear.

Most people push their cotton away from the sides of the chamber - I have a kfl clone that didn't like that but the lemo does.

Probably the extra air flow maybe the juice likes to run more free. So far had it at i think 1.5Ω and currently at 0.9Ω all good.

Anyone else getting a "POP" sound every time you hit fire button with stock coil?

That usually means the wick is a little on the loose side inside the coil. It's really not that big of deal, doesn't effect the flavor or performance negativity, but it is a little annoying IMO. You can re-wick it yourself and have the wick a little more snug, just don't go too tight you could mute your juice flavor if you do.

I agree. I push the wick against the edge of the chimney so it curves around the edge and the ends the wick are right where the juice channels begin. This method has been full proof for me, not leaking and no dry hits.

Hard to answer that question without more information. What gauge wire? What size diameter is the coil? What wattage are you running it at? It could be a wicking issue, or it could be the coil or the wattage etc.

That's what makes it hard to get the hang of new gear, there's so many variables. You don't know what to change to get the effect you want. I guess you just have to experiment until it starts to make sense.

I did get rid of the nasty taste I had on my first tank. I took it apart and gave it a really good cleaning, and put in a new wick as close as I could to the one it came with. No way of knowing whether it was the new wick or the cleaning that made the difference.

I got some plastic needle bottles for filling. Maybe there was some residue in the plastic bottle. I cleaned that as well. Should you clean those bottles after every use? Or keep one for each flavor and not worry about cleaning it?

I'm a little nervous about changing the coil. I know it will be a while before I can make one that perfect.

Seems like it's hard to really mess up with this thing though. It doesn't want to leak. It's easy to find the right power setting as well. A little to low and the flavor goes away, a little too high and it burns your throat.

Compared with a Protank it really burns through the juice. Maybe it's time for some DIY.

The lemo is pretty forgiving once you get the first one right, I guess you can say that about every atty but I think if you keep the channels open, it really takes an act of god for this thing to leak. Even when it does it goes into the 510 well. I stuck mine in my pocket with the VS while driving and sitting in traffic and had a little leakage, nothing I couldn't deal with. 3 lemos, 2 standard and 1 drop and counting.......

I have had the same experience. I was building at 1.8-2.0 (was coming off of clearos) and vaping at 10-14 watts. And it was great and all. But then, on a newer Lemo, I decided to try the stock coil (re-wicked). Wow, I had an epiphany. My new sweetspot is now 1.0-1.2ohms at 16-20watts. That's with a spaced coil. I tried building a 1.0ohm micro contact coil, but, for some reason, it would periodically catch fire!

I found, just the cap of the needle bottle fits most of my juice bottles.
Try it. Saves you from doing the transfer thing...

Well I checked but my needle bottle caps are much smaller than the juice bottle caps. If it works for you I need to look for some larger needle bottles. Where did you pick yours up? I think mine came from LV.

Mine started gurgling a bit half way through the tank, and the volume of vapor went down. I took the bottom off and there was a little juice on the top surface of the bottom piece and quite a lot around the air adjustment area on the bottom of the tank. I'm guessing that was causing the gurgling. Is it too much wick causing that or too little? Or something else. The vape got a lot better after I cleaned out the juice with paper towel.

Once I get this one all figured out I'm going to reward myself with a black one.
