Glad to hear that. I don't want a wind machine. ;) Just a bit more air than the kayfun.

I'm interested in Evolv's dna 40 chipset--with temperature regulation, step down, reverse battery protection etc. But I'm still waiting for other mods with that chipset to make their appearance. Perhaps Opus? Maybe even MVP3? Who knows. I have plenty of time; VS is so behind on their orders that I have nothing to lose--people who ordered on Black Friday are still waiting.

That wireless charger is crazy, I agree.

Vaping at 30watts, and it's just a great great vape. My kayfuns and RUSSIANS are now permanently assigned to kanthal builds.

Also just ordered 9 more lemo drops for Christmas gifts to my buddies. Especially those who have been insisting that a lemo cannot outperform a kayfun. Well. It's gonna be a fun surprise for them.

Side note, I know this is gonna sound stupid, but how do you get the rubber plugs to work? I've tried plugging the hole in as many ways as possible and it's always slowly bleeding juice.

Yes. IMO, the Lemo outperforms a standard Kayfun.

A big difference though, which will be a plus for some, and a minus for others, is that the Lemo's tank is pyrex glass. For me, that means the Lemo is going to stay at home, and KFL on a mech gets the out and about duty.

How does it compare to an orchid v2 in terms of flavor, vapor, and overall enjoyment from use?

Nice presentation. Wish I had seen this before I bought the rose. It is heavy and the extra tank is cheesy. I don't get why a glass tank isn't an option for all of these style tanks. That's a big plus for me. Thanks for the pics and tutorial.

Same, I hate my rose v2 I just got, it's just unbelievably restricted and there's not much you can do besides drilling since it won't even take a different drip tip...horrible design IMO

Got my lemo, fantastic flavor, unbelievable airflow, very bad airflow control (moves all the time) and...damn this thing kicks like craaaazy. I usually vape at 6mg on my Kayfun, but the throat hit of 6mg on Lemo is super intense.

Same experience anyone?
how high off of your airflow are you building your coil? That's the easiest way to raise or lower the throat hit of your Vape, without having to change your juice...

That build looks great!

As for the plugs ... I lube the tip of it with a little e-liquid and then push it in there as hard as I can with my thumb, moving my thumb around a bit as I push on it. It will eventually sit flush in the hole and "stick". Then use a flathead to make sure the rest of the tabs are sitting against the bottom... might need to push the outer "flaps" in so they sit below the threads. When you screw in the bottom section, it should do the rest.

Also, make sure you take a few good, long vapes after a fresh fill to build up vacuum, otherwise liquid will find it's way out the bottom airflow as well.

I think making sure the entire ring is set in properly is key. I noticed once as I was screwing in the base the ring twisted out. I caught it in time but I imagine this would cause the plug to come unseated.

Wait, this is not kanthal? Is this a nickel wire?

:D

Beautiful coil! What kind of wire and what gauge is it, if I may ask.

Gorgeous build....my standard coils dont come out that good lol, been wrapping contact coils for so long didnt think id ever really use a spaced coil again until I got the Lemo and used high VG juice in it, which gives me much better performance than a contact coil for that application.

Should have taken a picture, but I found my happy vape with the Lemo. Dual 24ga 3/32 7 wrap, wicked with rayon, sitting on my Raptor 20A box at 4.8v. Perfect warm/dense quick hits. The only thing I may do differently on my next build is try some 25ga wire to get the resistance a little higher so i can run it on my OKR 10A box and not overload the circuit.

what ohms did this get you and what are you shooting for next time with 25ga? I cant seem to do as good with the single coil on this thing. Started with duals and have since tried a couple of singles but i may be spoiled by all the dual attys and drippers im used to.

This build got me to 0.33ohms. I'm shooting for closer to a 0.5ohm. The OKR 10A has a max limit of 50w at 5.5v and 10A. I've found that i prefer the dual 24ga at 4.8v so I'm using that as a measuring stick. It will be more wraps than the 24ga (either coil will be more wraps to reach the higher resistance, but I'm hoping its more satisfying than 26ga.
