No but it NEEDS to be cut into the 510 connector! It's smooth as glass! Look a little closer! (better pic.)View attachment 415968

    Ahh...ok I see it now.
    Someone messed up.
If you don't have to send it back for replacement, you will have some spare parts.
    Keep us posted...........

Same, I started DIY as well. My nicotine is really harsh, and I dropped down to 3mg to reduce irritation. I got a Nude Nicotine sample, so I will try upping it and see if I can reduce the amount liquid I'm going through. What nicotine levels are you guys using?

When I first started, I was on 24mg (smoked Marlboro reds for 30+ years). After about 5 months, I dropped down to 18, and for the past few months I have been on 12mg.

On a dripper? I vaped 18mg in my regular tanks, then
when I started dripping, the 18 mg almost knocked me over! Now I drip using 3 mg. and don't miss the 18 mg strength!:)

I will!:) I'm thinking I might be able to pick up a die and thread it,if I knew the right metric size?

In the pic it appears that an attempt to cut the threads was made but the part was initially machined under sized. Will it fit in a batt 510 or is it too large? If too large you may be able to thread it. 510 threading is 7mm x .5

It is over sized! It won't fit any of my PV's! I will have to see if I can find a 7 X .5mm die locally? I'm dying to use it!:D Maybe Ace Hardware? They seem to have a lot of metric bolts, and nuts? Thanks, for the information on the size!:)

I received my Lemo today in the vape mail. The excitement soon faded as I realized the bottom 510 connector wasn't threaded? I left eleaf a e/mail,and the vendor I purchased it from,so we will see how fast the response is? So far my Lemo is a LEMON"!View attachment 415961View attachment 415961

That stinks! I think they need to sharpen that die a little bit.

I don't suppose you have an Evic Supreme to hybrid it to in the meantime, do you? :)

Great news RKS! I'm sure you can find a tap & die set locally or on the net but it will likely cost as much or more than a new Lemo. Some stores carry individual dies but then you will need a die handle too. Just say'n.

Cheap china stainless is difficult to machine (smears and galls up) so if you decide to cut the threads make sure you keep the threading die flooded with cutting fluid the entire time you're cutting.

That's not quite what I meant, but I appreciate the input.

I'm trying to find a tip that has the same outside diameter of the step on the top cap. Where the flared base of the original tip meets the cap.

Is this what you are thinking of?

Sorry about sideways image not sure how to get them to display in proper orientation.

Thanks,I'm on the hunt today for the die!:) I will use plenty of "cutting oil" as I thread it! I haven't received any answer form the vendor,or leaf so far?
