...........ok the lesser of 2 evils simple . agree with me or not thats my opinion from all the things ive read and what ive seen with my own eyes...............

Not simple and not OK. One product kills 500,000 people a year in this country alone. It has 40 KNOWN Carcinogentic substances in it and approximately 3900 other substances in it. eliquid has 4 main substances that make up 80% of it and approximately 6-7 other minute substances, all of which are NOT carcinogentic and have been approved by the FDA for human consumption. eliquid has also been thoroughly tested and shown not to be harmful to any one in the vicinity and have only the potential for minimal, if any harm to the user. Here is the latest of several studies: CASAA: New study confirms that chemicals in electronic cigarettes pose minimal health risk

Considering that the one product can literally save and/or prolong the lives of millions whereas the other will literally take and/or shorten the lives of millions, your stating that both are "evil" with the only difference being the "level" of evil, is idiotic, at best. Your "opinion" lacks serious thought. If I use your description of the "lesser of 2 evils", then a hangnail is the lesser of 2 evils when compared to having my hand cut-off with a circular saw.

I smoked a PAD for nearly 40 years. I quit a couple of times using buproprion but couldn't tolerate the insomnia. I quit lots of times using the patch and gum, but always relapsed. I quit using Chantix but could only tolerate one pill a day and relapsed. I quit more times than Mark Twain and always relapsed. I woke up every morning, sometimes in the middle of the night, worrying about dying of cancer and leaving my daughter alone. I felt like a failure.

Then I saw someone with a strange and colorful device blowing a huge cloud of "smoke." He told me about ecigs. The first week of vaping, I had 1.5 analogues. I can't imagine the circumstances that would cause me to have another. 68 days. I'd prefer to not vape, but that's unrealistic at this point. I only wish I'd learned of this years ago instead of 2 months ago.

Congrats on the quitting. Vape on.:vapor:

just about everything we do is bad for us, it's a wonder we get out of bed in the morning?,we might get hurt!,or someone else might hurt us!...or the sky is falling!
(sarcasm!) :) i don't care what they say, weather its good or bad...i enjoy it!!!
our body's will tell us in someway or another if any problems are occurring,it sure showed me after i quit smoking, all the toxins coming out, and the changes that went on with my body after 32 yrs of analogs!
i don't consider this smoking,i consider it a lot more pleasurable, and smoking never tasted this good!
while we all have our own stories,we all have a common bond,we don't want to smoke and we love to vape!!!
this is the new age and we are setting the trend!!! have fun and vape on!!!
    good luck and vape on!

    fad
    fad/
    noun
    noun: fad; plural noun: fads

1.an intense and widely shared enthusiasm for something, esp. one that is short-lived and without basis in the object's qualities; a craze.

Important words highlighted; doesn't fit the definition IMO.

    Now, my own take:

I have smoked off and on (Mostly on) for three decades. At times up to three packs a day, most recently before vaping full time about a pack to occasionally a half a pack per day. I've tried various methods to quit. Gum, patches, inhalers, Chantix, Zyban. And gas station e-cigs (which just made me angry, mostly).

I didn't even know what "vaping" was until maybe three or four days before I placed my first order. I spent the better part of a weekend devouring every video, blog, and forum I could get my grubby little e-fingers on. From seeing the enthusiasm of my (soon-to-be) fellow vapers, I knew that there was something to this "vaping" thing.

My first three orders arrived on the same day, and twelve hours later I'd had my last cigarette.

I can't say with 100% certainty that vaping is "healthy", but I CAN say that it's many times better for me than smoking.

Am I addicted to my PV? You bet your sweet behind I am.

Is it a "craze"? I hope it is, and I hope it's one that lasts the rest of my life!

1186 days ciggie free and counting. Haven't touched one since I picked up my first crappy little KR808-d with the pre-filled carto. I started smoking before I hit my teens kept at it for almost 40 years. In all that time, only two things ever got me off the smokes - ecigs and pregnancy. At 50, my options have narrowed by half. Beware of perpetuating a false equivalence. These are better. Period.

That i will do, anything to ensure that people at least have the option to attempt a healthier alternative.

I smoked for over 20 years and after getting divorced in 2009 my smoking went through the roof! I was up to 2 full packs a day! and a lot of the time I would find myself having to make a conscious effort to slow down so I wouldn't go past even that! disgusting and pathetic! my shower would look like a damn science experiment in the morning! MY DOCTOR told me to switch to an ecig at a physical, I bought one and started using it and found that it curtailed my cravings, so I set a date to fully get off the analogs and haven't looked back! It gave me a hobby (I never had to do math when I smoked cigs, like when I am trying to build a coil on my IGO-W), I don't stink, I don't hack and cough anymore and I don't eat Advil like candy because I no longer get 3 to 5 splitting headaches a week! my allergies haven't been acting up! I can go on and on and on! But this is definitely not a lesser of 2 evils solution to me, the only evil in this equation is the analogs!

After being smoke free for a month...

    1. My energy level is back where it should be. Not dragging home tired at the end of the day, taking a short nap just to make it to bed time.
    2. My wife loves that I don't smell like smoke anymore. I apologized to her for having to put up with that for 20 years. I know just how bad it stinks now...
    3. I can vape inside. It's cold out. Nuff said.
    4. My sense of taste and smell are both back and cigs STINK. They smell like burning plastic to me. Probably something to do with the FSC stuff.
    5. No more wheezing, coughing or shortness of breath. I feel like a kid again! Errr... a 40 year old, grey haired, slightly overweight kid, but yeah, a kid again!

So no, I will not be picking cigarettes up again.
If e-cigs were banned tomorrow, I would just tough it out.
Might have to slap on a nicotine patch or suffer through some Snus while I "puffed" on a drinking straw, but I would make it.

for me today is officially day 50 for me no cigs ,which is honestly remarkable for me people smoke around me all day , many of my friends are trying and have failed some are still hanging in there and so far I am holding my own with my protank
I guess it all comes down to will at the end of the day .
its all about trying and im trying as hard as I can

the will power thing is not quite true tho, I for one never thought I would quit smoking and went into to the vapehsop only because I knew I had to try something different, because I could feel my lungs laboring hard everytime I exerted myself the slightest bit (I'm only 45, but been smoking regularly since I was 14 and on and off even before that for some time). I went in there, let the guys tell me about the Vamo 2 and nic content and throat hit and purchased it, I fully intended to go on smoking regular cigs for some time yet to come, however within one week I was off cigarettes completely and after trying a toke or 2 after not smoking for 3 weeks I was totally disgusted by it and had to brush my teeth right after to get that burned taste out of my mouth.
A lot of actually quitting smoking is up to how you start out on it and mostly the nic content (they started me very high, and in the mean time I dropped to half of what they started me on).
My health is improved and my lungs have a much easier time these days when exert myself (only been vaping for not quite 4 month).

I had smoked 45 years and also used snuff at work when the plant went non-smoking. I quit smoking a year ago and vaping has allowed me to quit the snuff. I find it harder on my damaged lungs than snuff but not nearly so bad as analogs. I won't go back to tobacco, no matter what. P.S I like Chantix and the lucid dreams but it did not help me quit.
