Levi, have you tried TFA Apple? You stated you're looking for a red apple flavor and to me, that apple is a duplicate of a red delicious apple. Also, if you decide to try some TA, mix 2 drops of the resin in 10 ml of TFA cotton candy (or mix your own EM). I always mix my EM much stronger than the 10% recommendation and think it works much better that way but that's JMO. I never had any luck with commercial tobacco either. I found it too cigarette tasting. Some folks love it mixed with TA but I tried that too and it was a definite no go for me.

The Apple I currently have is the TFA, and it tastes of apple jolly rancher (or apple hard candy). Not bad, but not what I am looking for per say.

I wasn't really looking at the TA, but, thanks for the heads up :) I was just trying to help that person who asked about it.

Alright, I'm back. I was hoping to share a great deal more on my new flavors tonight, but as it is, I only had one come in the mail.

FlavorArt Apple - mixed at 10%, and if curious, ~10mg, 90vg, 5mls. Steep time ~3 minutes 24 seconds.

Since I just cleaned this atty, and dry-burned it, it still has a bit of the charred taste as I'm hitting the juice. Normally, I would just puff on straight VG to get the taste off, but, ever have I been impatient, so I'm burning through juice like a mad man! Do I feel a nic-fit coming on? I think so :D

What is this I am feeling? Nostalgia? Dare I say that this is the juice I was aiming to find ever since I have been on my Apple hunt? I have been thinking of the Apple I bought from Liberty Flights nearly two years ago, when I first started vaping. I went through that 5ml sample with the quickness, leaving behind only a memory that will later come into fruition via my search of that very flavor.

That flavor of apple was more of an apple juicey taste, well, at least to my palate. Gosh my brain is hating me at the moment, probably should have mixed it without nicotine for testing purposes. Nah, where's the fun in that?!

Even with the charred taste, I can taste the flavor coming through, and it's certainly juicy. It even leaves that feeling in the mouth and throat after drinking a glass of apple juice.

*Pause to hit some RY4, I feel my palate is becoming too accustomed to the apple, thus alleviating my ability to taste it completely.*

Will post more in a minute.

I just got some FA Apple in too Levitas. Mixed mine at 10% 22mg/ml 60/40. Been sitting 2 days. I put 2 drops TFA sucralose also to 10 ml. I think it has promise. Also put 4 drops (from a 10 ml bottle)into a mix I been working on of FA Perique Black and FA Latakia 2% each with 4 drops from a 30 ml bottle em mix I got from ECigExpress.
On the second one I think I'm gonna drop the perique to 1% and up the apple to about 5% though I must say I'm liking it how it is. The perique/latakia had been steeping about 8 days when I added the apple . I'm gonna put it up and revisit in about a week.

....and I'm back!

Yes, I do believe this is the same flavoring used in the Apple sold at Liberty Flights. It's good, I like it. I need a day or two more with it before making any final assessments via experimenting with %'s (I really wanted to add koolada with it... the koolada is in the other package that didn't come today).

To compare it with TFA Apple: TFA Apple, to me, is more candy-ish, and tastes of a jolly rancher, or apple flavored sucker. Which really isn't bad, and when it's mixed with TFA Milk Chocolate and LA Chocolate, it tastes like those caramel apple suckers (weird, I know!)

To say that FA Apple tastes like biting into a fresh apple is most likely inaccurate according to my palate. However, I will say that it tastes more natural, at least when compared to TFA Apple. It is slightly tart (could be from the nic, or because it's freshly mixed), but it is also sweet, and in comes that comparison to apple juice once again. Though I've never tried koolada, I have had menthol, and I think that either one, in small amounts, would really make this flavor shine. I can't wait to try it.

Anyways, that's what I've got tonight. Just a reiteration as to the purpose of this thread: I created it so that I would't cluster up other threads, and because I am using multiple flavorings from multiple vendors, I didn't want to post my findings, questions, et cetera in those other threads.

Feel free to add to the discussion, and I am still open to try other apples, for sure! As is, I am very happy to of found this flavor. It's gonna be fun playing with it.

I'm gonna split my 10 mil up and try some koolada in it. Good suggestion. I wanted to get an idea on how the taste is alone (well sweetened a bit) first. Thanks for planting the ear worm. I also got some FA Pear in my LF order .It smell very delicate but I haven't mixed it yet.

I wonder how apple and pear would go together. Only other fruit flavor I have that isn't LorAnn (which I'm not crazy about) is TFA Ripe Banana.

I considered sweetening it, but I am holding back for the moment being. Thus far, I have been mowing through this 5ml bottle. Quite literally went through half of it since I mixed it, lol.

I have some of that TFA Ripe Banana, but I haven't tried it yet. Another beta recipe I have been enjoying consists of TFA Banana nut bread, and CAP Chocolate fudge brownie. When fresh, it has this distinct sweet and almost spiciness to it, and it's just awesome to me. But, as it ages, the buttery flavor from the Banana nut bread starts to come out more, and I find it almost overwhelming. I have considered, when this bottle is empty, trying a mixture of the brownie and ripe banana, just to see if it mimics the original beta without the butter flavor.

On that note: I am indeed still on the search for a plain, good ole, delicious milk chocolate flavor, if anyone has any suggestions on that, I'd be grateful :) I have tried TFA Milk Chocolate, LA Chocolate, and of course, CAP Chocolate fudge brownie. The Brownie is really the only one that is true to its taste/name. If I can find a good milk chocolate, it's getting mixed with every fruit I own, lol.

Well you did let it steep a little,,
Sounds like a great apple flavor I'll have to add to the box later.
Might be a good one to add to the TFA apple pie, to me it has more of a green apple taste to it.
Only fruit flavor I've tried so far is TFA pineapple, @ 10% and it's pretty good but could be bumped up a bit I think.

I never thought I'd like any banana flavors, but since I've been following this thread decided to give it a try. I was intrigued by your experiment with the banana nut bread and CFB. Pretty good stuff! Thanks for the suggestion Levitas :) About the banana nut bread getting too buttery after it steeped a few days...I thought so too so added some of the TPA Ripe Banana and it definitely helped. In fact I'm going to mix a new batch half & half and think that will make the banana nut bread just right, to me.
Have you tried vapingzone's chocolate yet? It seems like a mild milk choc. They have cocoa chocolate too. Both a nice change of pace from Cap's CFB. :p So now I'll go mix up a combo of CFB and the VZ chocolate and see what I come up with. (They all deepen dramatically after steeping a week or so, which tends to muck up some of my experiments. I end up adding more nic juice to dilute a lot of the flavors that I initially thought were too weak  )

Nice, searching!

Tonight, I have been cross dripping that Banana nut brownie with FA Apple, and it's pretty tasty! I might have to mix something out of it. It reminded me of fried sugar apples, or something of that sort.

After I experiment with the flavors I have coming in the mail, I plan on trying VZ's Black n Mild, due to a increasingly amount of good replies I've read from it. I might pick up some of that chocolate while I'm there.

Well, it looks like they're having extensive difficulty locating my package from WL :glare: I even asked if I could go down to the warehouse and see if I can't pick it up, and they told me no. Which really, I understand, it's the holidays, and there are literally thousands of parcel packages coming in and out daily. It's rather frustrating none the less, and when you have no source to be frustrated at, it's time to let out a sigh, and let it go.

Until further notice, I'm considering the package a POW. Moral of the story, always go priority ;)

The TFA green apple is definitely Jolly Rancher style but the plain apple tastes like a red delicious apple to me.

Reporting 2 mixes tonight.

First up, 5% TFA Ripe Banana, 1% CAP Chocolate Fudge Brownie

I mixed this to see if it would reflect one of my favorites, the Banana Nut Brownie. And the consensus is? Nope! It's awful. In every blend I put even 1 drop of that brownie into, I can taste it so well, except this blend. The Ripe banana is the only thing I taste, and it tastes horrid. I suppose it tastes like banana flavoring... but I imagine it to be more like soap. Soapy funk, mixed with a tinge of maybe banana lip gloss. Just terrible. I'm not even going to add this in my collection of multiple juice bottle. Straight to the toilet!

Also, anyone interested in a bottle of Ripe banana flavoring ;)

And last, I mixed a bottle of 10% FA Apple, 4% TFA Banana Nut Bread, and 1% CAP Chocolate Fudge Brownie.

I have been wanting to try this for the past 24 hours. It feels like the flavors are arguing in my mouth. The normal BNB (banana nut brownie) is present, but in a different manner. I attribute this to the 10% apple fighting for the attention of my taste cells. On one hit, I swear I can't taste the apple, but that different manner of the BNB. On the next, apple is coming out, though still in smaller amounts. I know what some of you might be thinking, I didn't shake the bottle well enough and the flavors aren't mixed. I have been shaking it for the better part of this past hour, and every time I go to drip more, I shake it vigorously again.

This leads me to my next conclusion, one that I don't normally like to come to. This blend... may require.... some steep time :runforthehills: :D Though I don't want to, because it really doesn't taste bad, I'll leave it alone until tomorrow, and try it again. Maybe it just needs a little time for the flavorings to get to know one another. Perhaps next time I taste, they'll be the best of chums. (I have hopes for this blend, when dripping BNB and Apple separately on the same atty, it was tasting wonderful! It reminded me of fried apples. I shall not give that up!)

Anyways, that's what I got tonight. Oh, and, I polished yet another 10ml bottle of Double RY4 off, and mixed another 10mls. :D I really need to quit procrastinating, and mix a 30ml bottle. I've got the bottles. I guess I was just waiting for the other flavors to arrive, because I am always thinking to myself, "Well gee, Levitas, what if those other flavorings come in, and something completely obliterates the Double Ry4." Not really a rational thought, since I've a couple 30ml bottles. Ah well.

Fried apple sounds pretty good , hope the steeping is all it needs.
Humm, I just though of something, if it takes very long we may never know?;)
The Double RY4 just has a permanent spot in the cabinet, I've been hard on it myself.

You're more right than you could of known  I have already started vaping it again, lol!

I really like how the apple tastes with this blend. I just wish it was more prevalent. I don't really want to add more, so I guess I will have to do my best to yield from vaping it. Not my strong suit.
